What an amazing experience being able To try out Chicken World. I had the Nashville chicken sandwich. It was so gooood. Nice and crunchy and juicy in the middle. Got the combo So came with Pero fries and a drink. I mean, what could be better than a hot and crispy chicken sandwich for dinner before work. Generous portion, nice soft moist bread, chicken was perfectly seasoned not too spicy. Fries were excellent. Crispy outside texture and soft inside, shaken with peri seasoning. Perfect compliment. Tried their mango drink in a bottle and it was divine. Staff very friendly and courteous. I called ahead for take out and they were ready with a smile to greet me. Place was clean and not smelling of grease. Everything was neatly arranged. Small dining area. Menu boards very clear with the menu. Huge shout out to yelp for highlighting this new place. What i did Also like was the fact that this establishment hands out free food, every 1 day of the week to the hungry. Yes, every Friday, FREE food to the hungry. Talk about social responsibility and giving back. Places like this should be supported and treasured. Salute to chicken world on Denman! I enjoyed the food and your hospitality very much! Would i repeat? I already have! Cheers! Happy eating!

This Chicken World at Denman is a no frills semi "fast food" fried chicken joint with a HUGE menu. I had the Gabbar burger combo with masala fries and drink. The burger was pretty good! Crispy chicken, good flavour, especially for something which is in the Five Guys price range. My son had the Nashville burger and he said it was good and spicy. They have plenty of other stuff on the menu - a peri peri chicken with rice combo, chicken strips, nuggets, wings, and just fried chicken. Other stuff got "ok" to "good" reactions. The location is fantastic. Right next to the water, along the busy and fantastic Denman, lots to do and see. The staff is friendly as well. Bring your friends and enjoy this place!

    10-piece drumstick deal

Came here and shared a 10-piece drumstick deal that was only $15!! So cheap compared to other fried chicken spots. The servers also gave us one extra drumstick because a few drumsticks were smaller than others. We were able to get half regular and half spicy. They somehow got the spice to even penetrate the meat! Even without the skin, the chicken was so flavourful. Very juicy and cooked on the spot after ordering. It's so fresh. The spicy chicken was a little too spicy for me -- I wouldn't get it again because my tolerance is low. Perfect for the spice lovers though! There's not a lot of space to eat in, but there are a few tables if you choose to do so. Most people were doing takeout on that Saturday night. One day a week, this business also gives free meals to the less fortunate. Such a generous and kind gesture. I would choose Chicken World over other more prominent chicken spots like KFC.

Good spot for late night eats. There's not much of an ambiance. More of a grab and go but decent food. It's really flavourful! The people behind the counter are super nice

The double fried chicken thigh burger was a hit. Coupled with the peri peri fries, the freshly cooked burger was just great. Be sure to dine in it tastes better. Trust me. Great location. They give back to the community by providing free meals to the needy.

The food here is not bad, it's also not great, it's comfort fast food that is halal. The fried chicken is my favourite I only ate a piece and felt like I gained 5 plbs LOL. The rice pilaf is pretty solid, I would have that with chicken and coleslaw. The jalapeño bombers are quite cheesy not my fav. Service is alright the girl there works hard, ambiance is fast food vibes

Amazing service and super friendly staff :) Jashan was great in providing recommendations and checking in on how the food was :). Tried their Nashville tenders and they were delicious and crunchy! The spicy one has quite a kick to it for all spicy chicken lovers!

My new fav fast food joint! The fries were crispy and the burgers we're juicy Added bonus: the spice level was perfecto!

The service was fast and the staff was kind. I was able to chat for the employee for quite sometime and learned all about their specials and new menu items. I appreciated the cleanliness. The chicken was sooo tasty and definitely a must for fried chicken.

Would you pay $0.30 for this plain paper bag? Not even printed with company logo etc!

We decided to return for a quick dinner last Friday night. All the chicken and fries were piping hot and the Peri Peri Fries were tasty as they should be after waiting for 20 minutes. I understand they charged 0.99$ to upgrade your regular fries to Peri Peri or Masala but why the menu panel reads different? Management please takes note!!!

COVID #24 Chicken World makes return to Vancouver. Vancouver proper that is. Their last location was on 49th and Knight, but for whatever reason it shut down. Since then, they only had locations in Surrey. Welcome back Chicken World. This shop is located on the busy stretch on Denman, so parking or at least stopping for pickup can be a bi@tch if you come by car. I still managed to do it. I could be wrong, but I don't recall any other items on their menu at the closed location other than chicken. They definitely have more now, including burgers and wraps. Burger was flame grilled and had a slight bit of heat in the sauce. Manageable tho. Good alternative to Church's and other KFC (Korea Fried Chicken).

Noticed this Chicken World location on Denman street, decided to give it a try. Had a double burger which on special that day and a chicken drumstick. Both were good and I'd visit this restaurant again.

Walked by over 50 times. The chicken taste good. My beef is the amount of fries and how small the chicken is. Employee or ownership wanted me to write a good review. That isn't my style. Can't be fake and recommend. Chicken is similar size to KFC but alot better tasting. My recommendation is just eat here on Tuesday. On their toonie Tuesdays when the chicken is cheap.

Unique flavours from India and the chicken itself is nicely fried with just the right amount of breading.

We shared an order of Vegan Crush Fries and Vegan Nuggets between the three of us. Also ordered a Vegan Milkshake and shared that with my daughter. Grandma wasn't so much into the milkshake part of the snack. Vegan Crush Fries were just as good as last time. Grandma commented several times on how tasty they were. That's a big win in my books. Always happy to hear of anything that makes my mom happy! I enjoyed the crispiness of the Vegan nuggets but flavor wise I think they were just OK. The dip is very much needed for these nuggets. On their own, they don't really have much flavor. I recommend breaking them into smaller pieces and then dipping those smaller pieces before eating them as they were piping hot and biting into it as is might burn your tongue. Found that out the hard way! I was pretty impressed with how well the nuggets retained their heat! Loved the Vegan milkshake! We ordered the Vanilla flavored Vegan milkshake and it was soooo good. The menu says that it's made from coconut milk ice cream. I couldn't taste any coconut milk flavor. All I tasted was Vanilla and it was sooooo good! Super impressed with the Vegan milkshake at Burger Crush. They absolutely crushed it with their Vegan milkshake!

Solid reviews on Yelp had us on the way. What a great little spot! There used to be so many diners of this style, it's a shame so many are no longer there for us to enjoy a simpler time. It's 100% diner right down to the mini juke boxes in each booth to the red and chrome bar stools. Even found an old Kellogg's individual cereal box display like one we had in my parents diner in Ontario, that was very cool! The service was spot on with our two servers working in unison to get waters, tea, orders, delivering food, cleaning up like a well oiled team. They even have old fashioned milk shakes and an Hamilton Beach machine to blend them up. WOW, nostalgia. The food came out quickly and was cooked exactly as we asked, and it was plentiful and a solid breakfast for the price. My potatoes were a little greasy, to me, but everything else was perfect. The bacon, three slices, of good quality and perfectly crispy as ordered. We will most certainly return to The Templeton when downtown again. Portable old fashion jukeboxes on each table, too bad none are functioning, only for show, could have used a little Elvis Presley during my meal. Ordered the classic benny and huevos rancheros. Hollandaise sauce on the benny was excellent with a slight lemon tanginess. Eggs runny, smoked ham on a crispy muffin. Heaven's perfect breakfast creation. Huevos rancheros could use improvement. Scrambled eggs with green pepper and onions could have used some additional seasoning. Black beans didn't seem fresh but then again I'm not a black bean expert, rosemary potatoes were crispy with a moist center. The retro vibe was 5 star, I was expecting retro .25 drinks and $5 breakfasts but alas inflation is an unstoppable monster in our everyday lives.
