It was clean and bright and we got a nice seat by the window. Our server was quick to say hello and take our drink order. I'm always impressed with the breadth of the menu here. I landed on the Seafood Yummy Hash, and hubby had the Big breakfast, again. Coffee and water came first, and we were both delighted at how good the coffee was. Most diner style restaurants have a very burnt tasting coffee but this was very smooth. Off to a good start! Food came out very quickly and looked amazing. Both dishes were beautifully plated, and the fruit on the big breakfast was not a typical canned special. Things took a turn at the first bite though. Taste 10/10, but our food was cold. Like cold, cold which was surprising given the restaurant was mostly empty, and it came out so quick. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, and very obviously in-house made, but both of our potatoes were quite literally cold, with some of the baby potatoes being hard in the middle still. The sourdough was also stale, but not just stale in taste, it was almost like it had been toasted well in advance and then plated. The review on the big breakfast remains the same as last time. Sausage was amazing, but the bacon and the ham left something to be desired. The server took some time to return back to our table and check in on us. When she did I told her our food was cold. She just kind of made a face, said oooooh, apologized, and that was it. She also had to be reminded to refill our coffees a second time after asking. The last shock came with the bill. While the prices overall were reasonable for very large servings of food, two black coffees came to $11. I know we raved about them at the beginning of the review, but not sure they were $11 good. Really wanted to love it, but not sure it lived up to expectations this time.

Wifey ordered French toast. I also ordered perogies. Fairly standard breakfast fare. Nothing fancy. The waffles imo could be better.. they were kinda dry inside bit fluffy. Def crispy on outside but with the missing fluffiness inside it kinda detracted from the enjoyment of having waffles. Rest of the breakfast food was as said standard and decent. The one thing that did stand out was the home made perogies.. they were very delicious. Over all, decent place to get your breaky but i don't think I'd go out of my way again to visit.

I had a $25 hotel egg breakfast recently and the eggs had runny whites, burnt toast and raw hash browns. Amigo is perfect every single time. $8.95 for 2 eggs cooked to order, perfect buttered toast and jam and crispy deep fried has browns. A couple of more dollars got a bottomless cup of freshly brewed delicious coffee and when I splurge on pancakes they are my favourite fluffy and spongy with real butter unlike most chain breakfast places. I really see no reason to go anywhere else for breakfast. I hear they have a good burger too!

I would go back for the food and good prices, but allow lots of time for the slow service.

There were a lot of tables and the whole place was very clean. They also have great specials and calories on each menu item. I got the Build Your Own Breakfast Wrap f3 eggs, feta, spinach, mushrooms, onions) with the potatoes upgraded to Crisp Up Your Homefries (homefries tossed with parmesan & topped with green onion). The wrap is small (which is fine by me) but it's because they skimp on toppings. It's mainly eggs. I don't think I had mushrooms at all and without hot sauce, this was not good. The home fries were clearly a second thought. Half of them had the paid upgrade and it was minimal at best. Like I said, this place was not for me. Maybe it was an off day but this was just not good.

My mom had the cinnamon apple big flat which I will say was tasty but I don't really care for sweet breakfasts so I wouldn't have ordered it for myself. My husband had a big flat pancake as well and thought it was o.k. Overall the food didn't wow me and I was surprised at how high the prices were. Service was great though.

The menu had a good selection and the servers try to offer drinks and fruit bowl upgrades. The PurWestern Omelette ($19.75) was pretty over done so not for my liking. I was hoping for light a fluffy and omelette. The Canadian Breakfast ($20.75) was pretty tasty with 2 eggs, 3 Bacon, 1 breakfast sausage and ham and I chose the half waffle, cubed potatoes, fruit plus toast. The waffle tasted great but the ham was very thin. The restaurant was busy and loud but food didn't take long. They have high chairs and a kids menu but no plastic cutlery and small bowls for kids.

The eggs were some of the orangest, most vibrant yolks I've ever seen (a sign of quality, for sure), and they were perfectly poached. The cheeseburger patty underneath was super flavorful--well-seasoned, juicy, and honestly just worked so well with the hollandaise. It's a bold dish and they absolutely nailed it. The quality of everything stood out--fresh ingredients, great flavor, and a presentation that actually made me pause before digging in. Inside, the restaurant is gorgeous--bright, clean, and stylish without trying too hard. The vibe was relaxed but modern, and it's the kind of place you could bring a friend for a casual breakfast or stay and sip coffee for a while. Definitely a standout spot. Highly recommend!
