I'm not sure if they gave me less because I won or if this is their standard. I also noticed 3 months ago the price for 15 piece chicken was $35.99 and then right now their website is $39.99. However, on their menu on site it's $46.99 which is a starking difference. Considering they try to substitute thighs with drums, I don't think I will come back. The chicken itself was good. Horrible experience. Ordered 5pcs peri-peri chicken plus coke and it took 20min to arrive and I am the only customer in the line. There is only one server during the lunch time doing all the stuff, so I sat there waiting my chicken and she didn't give me my coke until I asked for it after 10min waiting. Locked washroom, minimum 15% tips by default (why ask tips if you can't even bring my coke on my table and I have to dump the trash myself?) My friend and I were craving for crispy fried chicken. The only issue we got is my buddy can only eat halal food. Since I am the yelper which means food's problem solver () I figured out that this place served halal chicken. The drive was quite long from downtown to surrey. then the million-dollar question is : was it really worth it ? And the answer is... ABOSULETY worth the trip!!! Oh my, super tasty! Such, tender, flavourful meat! The seasoning and spice in the fried chicken batter is so unique, and so punchy, and so good! I've never had a drumstick that was as big, juicy and meaty. Usually I tend to stay away from the drumsticks. Here, they're just as good as any of the "premium" pieces at any of the major chicken chains. Amazing! The drive through was very quick, and the service was friendly and happy. The customer service is horrible. The counter people are slow and inattentive. I've been here a few times and seen the manager reem them out. And the manager himself is very combative and needs to be trained on how to treat customers with respect. I placed an order online for pick up. I went to pick it up. On my way there I was caught in severe traffic. It took me half an hour to get there. By the time I arrived the order was not even prepared. I questioned the staff and the manager came out to speak to me. I explained how the food wasn't even ready when I arrived late. His reply was it's not his fault I came late. REALLY? What's the point of placing an order for pick up when I could have just placed the order up in arrival? An order should be prepared the moment it was placed. That is standard service in EVERY restaurant. What did the manager do when I complained? Called the cops. Upon arrival even the RCMP agreed with me. This place is full of anger. I've been eating here since 2003. And every management changed my experience. Latest management has been serving worst food. The customer service was also horrible, the manager asked other customers about their food and anything he could do for them but he just completely ignored me and my brother. I found a hair in my chicken and instead of taking ownership he kept giving back handed apologies accusing me that it may have come from me that he needed to "investigate" he told me that I wanted a free bee when all I wanted was.
