Ordering was super easy and the food came out fast. I ordered two #8 banh mi which is the classic banh mi that comes with 2 viet ham and pate. This is more of the traditional banh mi you see. I liked that Obanhmi also has a variety of other flavors including chicken lemongrass, beef sate, etc. Within the shop, there is a little bit of seating if you choose to sit inside and eat. The overall ambiance is cute for this small shop. I really like the newspaper wallpaper that incorporates the history of the banh mi. The banh mi itself was delicious. The toppings on top (cilantro, pickled vegetables, etc.) helped to add a nice crunch and helped to balance the whole entire sandwich. It was a good ratio of vegetables to meat to bread. Obanhmi is definitely is a solid option if you're in the area to get a banh mi!

The Vietnamese coffee was pre made mixture, which tasted okay but fresh would be better. I get it though it's a fast food style place. They don't give you a plate so when you sit down it's in a paper bag cover and all your French breadcrumbs will fall on the table. It's very small inside but has a few tables to sit in and eat. Even at the time of this posting, still, 15 mins in, with no churro. The pace of customers has slowed greatly and they're cleaning which is good to see but we're still disappointed we paid and are left waiting. Otherwise, the staff was very pleasant, accommodating, and on the ball, overall. The location is clean, well-lit and inviting.
