Over the past eight years, it has become clear that many locations have adopted these practices, likely based on corporate directives. Portion sizes are under tighter control, which is clearly a cost containment measure. Having said that, since this location now produces portions identical to any other location, I've decided to raise my review. I still would not give five stars, as there are occasionally issues With orders at this location. In particular mobile orders are frequently delayed and even once I'm in the restaurant asking for them to complete my order, it will take often quite a while before somebody actually goes into the back to complete the mobile order. Therefore, I recommend you come in to this location and order on site. Any mobile order will take much longer than projected.

I had dining plans for later but I need something on my stomach to get rid of this headache. I opted on THB Bagelry. They never miss. The food is always fresh and it's light (doesn't weigh you down). Confession: I have been to several other THB's but I've never been to this location before. Quite honestly, every time I pass this location, I couldn't figure out how to get in the shop. There was signage but no entrance, so I never stopped. Today I learned that you have to park in the lot (Boston & S. Clinton Street) and walk around the corner. The entrance is on S. Clinton St. Upon entering, as usual, it was very busy... always a great sign and there was a really nice flow. There's definitely a rhythm to the employees at THB, which I appreciate. There's ample seating, plenty of room, and every employee I interacted with was polite, welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable. I loved it. I was in and out of there in no time. My go to here is the 'Uncle Gigli'. LOVE this 'bagelwich' (wait... did I just make up a new word?!? Ha! Check me out! Nah. I'm sure it already exists... I just like patting myself on the back when I can. lol). Turns out the 'Uncle Gigi', evidently, is a Guest Fave! Nice! It comes w/ an Everything bagel (scooped), skinnied (I leave as is) and toasted. The interior is stuffed w/ Scallion cream cheese, Muenster cheese, avocado spread, cucumber, sprouts, tomato. You can sub your choice of bread or bagel. There's even the option to make it VEGAN with vegan cream cheese and no Muenster cheese. The flavors ALWAYS hit w/ this one! I also added salmon, making this even more PERFECT than it already is. The toasted crispy outside of the bagel with the soft interior and all the fresh crunchy veggies inside & the mildly salty salmon, basically make this a salad u can walk & eat. Yummm-o!!! SCORE!!! See u soon, THB Bagelry...

I love this place. Been coming here for years. This is still my favorite regional bagel…read moreshop/chain. You can see my previous reviews for how awesome this place is. The short version is you won't find better bagels dine in or to go in the area. Their menu is well designed with a decent variety of options without being overwhelming or trying to do too much. As a regional chain, they have several locations but this one is very well situated. There's a free parking lot and free parking on the street out front. They have a decent inside dining area and outdoor seating on the patio as well. During the pandemic, they kept going with delivery and curbside pick up and eventually opened for in-store pick up and eventually for in-store dining again. Over the past few years they have been rewarded with a growing and loyal customer base. All of this means that if you want to place an order, be prepared, especially on weekend mornings, for a decent delay as they will at times become swamped with customers. I highly recommend downloading and using their app. Much better than trying to use a third party app to order. Plus you get occasionally discounts/rewards. In order to help address the breakfast rush hour, a few years ago they installed a very large wall with alphabetized shelves for pick up orders. in addition, they recently added a monitor that shows which orders are currently ready and on the shelf, and which orders are in progress with a time estimate for when it will be ready. In terms of specific food items, I highly recommend all of the breakfast egg sandwiches. Be aware that the 'ham' they list is Taylor ham; also known as pork roll. Very delicious, but not the same thing as deli ham. All of the lunch sandwiches are well-made but I am partial to the low fat chicken salad. It's great on a bagel, cold, or on rye bread as a Panini. The french fries are a must have, and I would absolutely get them with breakfast or lunch.

As soon as we sat down we were offered a cinnamon roll- this was a special treat as we had given ourself a goal of finding a delicious cinnamon roll over the weekend. OMG was that a good choice! We split it 4 ways which allowed us each to have the experience while still having room for the rest of breakfast . The rest of the meal was equally marvelous- in particular the scrapple (IYKYK) was perfectly prepared and crispy on the outside and soft inside. The decor was funky- it was only a few weeks before Halloween and so I'm not sure whether some of the spooky aspects were Halloween or every day- whatever it is- it works! We have longitudinal ties to Baltimore (at least for the next 4 years) so we will be back!

You seat yourself, scan a QR code for the menu, and a server comes by to take your order. I skipped the famous Captain Crunch French Toast and ordered the Sweet Baby Jesus: crispy hash browns topped with crab, Old Bay, cheddar cheese, eggs, and hollandaise. Honestly, it felt like a crab eggs Benedict with hash browns instead of English muffins. The presentation was lackluster, and the combination of Old Bay, cheese, and hollandaise didn't quite work for me. It was edible, but not something I'd order again. The small space creates an unspoken eat-and-leave atmosphere, which is understandable but not ideal for larger groups looking to linger. I wouldn't say I'll never return, but after this experience, I won't be rushing back anytime soon.

Both were delicious and cooked really well, but the Baltimore Burger was definitely my personal favorite! I also loved that the burgers came with a side of potato chips. They were so good and paired perfectly with the burgers! We also tried a couple of their beers, the #16 Dewey Secret Machine Sunset Squeeze and the #32 Downeast Blackberry Cider. I really enjoyed both! The Sunset Squeeze had a nice fruity flavor, while the Downeast had more of a sweet blackberry taste. If you prefer beers or ciders on the sweeter side, I'd definitely recommend trying either of these! Overall, I had such a good experience at Abbey Burger Bistro! Everything I ordered was there (low standard but needs to be said since others had their orders horribly botched). I took it home to eat and when I got home everything was still hot(ish). It's Taco Bell so to say it was all delicious just isn't appropriate but for my annual Taco Bell binge, I was totally satisfied. The crunchies were crunchy. Nothing was left out of items or falling apart. It was just a solid Taco Bell experience all around! I'd give 5 stars but 5 stars for any fast food just feels wrong.
