Fast, friendly service and seriously good chicken. The chicken came out hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. No frills, just done right. As we say in Baltimore, it's perfect with salt, pepper, ketchup, and hot sauce. If you're in Lexington Market and craving classic fried chicken, this spot delivers every time.

The vibe at the new Lexington Market is lively and clean, with everything freshly renovated and a bunch of new stalls to check out. I stopped by Super Fried Chicken after seeing the long line, which is usually a good sign. The service was quick, and the chicken came out hot and juicy. The flavor was solid, though I like my crust a little crunchier. Still, for under $15, it definitely hit the spot. Not quite my top pick...the Amish market in the county still wins for me....but I'd come back whenever I'm downtown and craving a chicken box.

The people were really nice and quick with taking our order. It's inside Lexington market and near the seating area which is a plus. We got their spicy wings and chicken tenders with fries. The wings were mostly good but we did get one that was very salty but the meat was flavorful; the chicken tenders were dry and not what we expected, the honey mustard we got on the side helped them since it was very good.

Delicious B'more style fried chicken. Love the wings, liver, gizzard, and neck... and don't forget about the fried rice, some of the best. The batter was tasty and crispy, and the chicken was seasoned just right. Can expect a line at times, especially during meal times and weekends. In the back of the shop, it is busy but orderly with the limited space. Service was very efficient, and the staff were friendly. Prices are reasonable and offer good value. This experience has confirmed the hype about this place; it's worth the trip, and I will return for more.

Made my way to the new Lexington Market, though it has already been open for a year or so. Super Fried Chicken is tucked in the corner next to the elevators. Lines can be long, but service is fast. The ladies that help with your order are helpful and friendly. Good thing to know is that they'll ask what sauce you want (hot sauce, ketchup, salt & pepper, etc) on your order of chicken, fries, etc. Be prepared with what you want, otherwise you will hold up the line. I got an order of 3 wings and western fries, and gizzards. Both were ok. A little on the bland side, but what was the most disappointing is that the food was at room temperature (during the lunch rush!). If you're craving wings, this place will satisfy, otherwise, hit up the other food stalls.

It surprises me that there is a long line for this place. The chicken is dry and rubbery, the crust is stale and greasy, and overall bland and season-less. I got 3 chicken thighs with fries for $9, which is the only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars. They do provide a good portion for the cost. Although, the fries were also pretty soggy and flavorless as well.

Chicken wings were on point. Well seasoned, freshly fried, tender and juicy! I will definitely be back during my next stay in Baltimore.

I know that sounds dramatic but it's true! I was shocked! The fries were a nice accompaniment that matched the chicken in quality + I love the addition of a pickle. I ordered the house BRD sauce and honey mustard and both were perfect in my eyes! The only downside was the wait, but I see it more as a testament to how good it is-- it was worth the wait for me, and it seems like many others would agree! In general I love that it's in R House, a great place to take friends and make sure that everyone has an option they will enjoy.

It did take a bit longer than I expected, but when I got my food, it was evident that it was cooked fresh to order. I got my tenders plain because I don't love spicy food, and it was delicious. I also got fries, a side of BRD sauce, ranch sauce, and a slice of seasoned bread. Everything was tasty, fresh, and well seasoned. For $15 it was a solid amount of food and the tenders are HUGE. I couldn't even finish the meal. I would definitely check out this spot again for fresh fried chicken.

I stopped by at 11am on a weekday, and the chicken was piping hot and juicy, much fresher than other fast-food chicken places. The tasty coating had a nice slight crisp to it, though it wasnt as crunchy as the fast-food brand that starts with a P. As I ate in my car, several roadwork crews walked by with their KKC© bags, so it's pretty well known along this part of US-40. There's parking out front for about 30 vehicles, and it's just a few steps from a large mall parking lot. This place is between a Goodyear and an AT&T, all in a little strip mall of their own. It's easy to find. When you're driving west, just turn in at the several Krispy Krunchy Chicken banners on the westbound side of Baltimore National Pike just west of I-695 and look for Poblano. It's a little tricky coming east: you have to drive past Alexander Av, (no matter what your map-app says), and do a u-turn where you would be going into the Lidl - Home Depot parking lot. I mention this because of course I made the wrong turn the first time. Then come back to those KKC banners, and go into Poblano Halal Mexican Grill.

We both got the chicken sandwich. The menu is small, or I'm sure Jeremy would have ordered more than one sandwich. He did also get the bucket of "Korean Chicken" but that thing is a lawsuit waiting to happen, and he wasn't brave enough to eat much of it. I'm not sure what makes that chicken Korean. It has a nice breading, but one does expect certain flavors when ordering Korean chicken. There's no soy or garlic here, no spice. The chicken is also cut/chopped in such a haphazard manner that the first bite I took was composed only of small rib bones. You really can't tell what you're getting (because of the thick breading) until the chicken is in your mouth, and then there's the possibility that there won't be any meat in that bite. These tiny bones are dangerous. Spitting them out is messy, but necessary. No one should have to spit out a mouth-full of bones. EVER. There isn't any "Hot" in anything that we ordered, either. I do appreciate that the coleslaw is coarsely chopped, and well sauced and seasoned but part of the draw (at least for me) of having coleslaw on a sandwich is to soothe the burn of a hot sauce or seasoning. While it does add a nice crunch, is it really needed on an already crispy sandwich? Not really. It just makes your roll mushy. I suggest getting it on the side. The chicken on the sandwich was great. It's well-breaded and crispy. It's a decent size piece of chicken. The huge dill pickle slices are also perfectly briny to cut through some of that fried-ness. It's a very appealing contrast. Service was friendly and speedy, but there's really nothing I would go back for.
