I'm a longtime fan of CFA and was excited to hear that they were finally bringing the franchise to campus. I came on a Thursday around 1:15 and it was busy! There was already a line but it was moving quickly. I found a table close to the door on the other side of the room. Almost every table was filled with students and faculty. Wow! There's seating close to the register and then a much larger part of the room has most of the seating. There's also some outside seating if you'd rather get some natural air. As it got closer to 2, it seemed to clear out. There were a handful of people sitting in there and people trickled in here and there. I was able to hear the music in the background if you're wondering how quiet it got! Service was great! They were fast at the register and food came out really quickly. Almost immediately. The fries weren't salted much...maybe because they were trying to be quick. Food tasted good! I almost expected it to fall short on the taste because students work here. I had ordered the 8 piece nuggets since I still had the free coupon on the app and got a small order of fries. My friend got tenders and my other friend got a salad. They clean up the space quickly and they walk around to take trays and ask if you need anything. One of the workers was telling me that it's constantly busy here. I'm wondering if it'll die down after a while? Maybe not since everyone loves Chick-fil-A. Still, I liked how the workers would bring people refills. I even saw the manager! She took our trays. It's always good when the manager makes their presence known. The space is large though! There was one side of the room I didn't take a picture of. It's very modern and they use a lot of light gray colors. It's actually very calming. I'll have to come back again! It's not a convenient location for those not on campus. Its better to go to the one in Grandview instead, if that's the case. Anyway, glad that they've brought this on campus though! Freshmen 30 is a real thing here, so I would be careful not to indulge too much here!

This is one of the more well managed restaurants in the Chick-fil-A chain. All of them are good, but this one is just more efficient.

This place was described as a farm to table chicken joint and also mentions being "rooted in the flavors of the locally loved Uncle Nick's Greek Fried Chicken". I am not totally sure what that reference means, but I can say the food and chicken was good. I had the medium heat fried chicken sandwich and went with mac and cheese plus the mashed potatoes and gravy for my sides. Everything was good. Mashed potatoes needed some salt and pepper and I never add salt to anything, but after that and pouring some gravy on them it was perfect. The heat level on my was great. I went with Medium and may try the Nashville Hot next but that medium was a just right. My partner loves fried chicken and ordered the two-piece meal with a wing and breast, no heat, and enjoyed it as well. No complaints there. Service was the best. The guy that took our order was so personable and friendly and walked us through the options. After we ordered, even brought the food to the table once it was ready. Everything was hot and fresh. Soda machines were down but sure they'll get it fixed soon, and the restrooms were worn and really cold, but none of that was a big deal really. Overall a good experience and a solid option if you are craving some fried chicken or looking for a good chicken sandwich. The place was packed early for a Saturday but I found out because they were closing. I ordered a 2 piece meal with Collard Greens and Mac & Cheese. The seasoning on the chicken was amazing! Tiny, carryout only, though there are a couple of tables to sit while you wait or maybe to eat a quick lunch. Super friendly staff. Fairly short menu; all the good stuff. I wasn't famished and didn't want to wait for chicken or fish, so I got an assortment of sides thinking that would be quicker. They fried up the okra right then, though, and had a steady stream of pickup orders coming through the door, so it still took 10-15 minutes. It was okay, though, smelling the amazing scents coming from the kitchen, talking to the staff and customers. I hadn't noticed they have ribs (just a picture, not on the menu) so I might've ordered those. Oh well. $20 I think, or they do combos with sides or fish and sides. Anyway. I got fried okra, and it was a big portion and absolutely amazing. No need for any sauces, tasty on its own. Perfectly crisp. Baked beans: my style, sauce so thick you can eat them with a fork. Slightly sweet, mostly savory, very good. Greens (collards) with turkey: outstanding. Tender but not floppy, nicely seasoned. Cornbread: soft, sweet, crumbly, topped with butter. Yum. Geechee rice: seasoned, bacon and sausage, very good. And black-eyed pea salad. I like black-eyed peas but had never had them in a salad. These were great: plump, with bits of tomato and cucumber and onion, in a vinegary dressing. Again, yum. Enough food for two meals. They gave me the side plate special, three sides and cornbread, which helped with the price. I was headed home and not thirsty so I didn't get a drink, but based on conversations with other customers I missed out on the lemonade and sweet tea. I'll be back for those and maybe a rib-fish combo. And to try the mac. Get here if you can!

The sandwiches were outstanding and huge. My daughter and I could have split one between us. Instead, we brought two halves home. Not sure what this place used to be. We actually got to the restaurant a little bit early and they ended up seating us outside, which was perfect. For food, I had the fried chicken sandwich with french fries and mac & cheese. My girlfriend had the chicken sandwich as well, so we each got a different side. The chicken was perfectly cooked without being overly greasy or oily. The french fries were delicious, and the macaroni and cheese was heavenly. Our server was very friendly and intensive to our needs. I felt like our food came out very quickly. Overall great time here and can't wait to come back. Love going to this place in Cincinnati as well, so I was very happy when they opened one up in Columbus.

We split the 5-piece chicken tender combo -- the number 11 -- which comes with fries, a drink, and any extra fixin' you want to tack on. We kept it classic: fries, a drink, and added coleslaw because... why not? The chicken was the star of the whole meal. Crispy, hot, and surprisingly tender -- one of those moments where you take the first bite and just nod like, yep, they nailed it. Fries were a little on the salty side for me, but still crunchy and snackable. The coleslaw? Really good. Cool, creamy, and exactly what you want next to fried chicken. And of course, we had to go with their legendary iced tea -- still one of the best fast-food teas out there. Sweet, cold, and perfect. The person at the counter was pleasant. And the dining room was clean. Also bathrooms were very clean. I enjoyed my food and if I am in the area again, I would definitely dine here again Nothing fancy here, just solid comfort food done right. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back again.
