I've been coming to this car wash for years, not because the service was particularly good, not because the wash was very detailed, and to be honest, for the quality of the car wash, it's pretty expensive. But it is convenient, and relatively quick, and sufficient to wipe the worst of road grime off the car. That was until today, when I took my car in for a Silver wash ($38 for a mid sized SUV). As usual, the wash and exterior dressing was very average, but what upset me is that they used a dirty cloth to wipe the lenses of my dashboard, and scratched it up really badly. I immediately pointed it out to the kid who cleaned the interior, he told me he hadn't touched it, and rudely walked away. I spoke to the onsite manager, he also shrugged, told me there was nothing he could do, and gave me the number of owner. I called the owner, Mehdi, who told me that it wasn't possible, that it must have been there before, and that I didn't notice because 'the car was dirty'. He told me that in all the years washing cars, they had never scratched anything. I sit in that car for hours a day, and I'm slightly anal about dirt and scratches on things I look at, I am 100% sure they scratched it. Whatever - crappy service, rude staff, overpriced, and no accountability when they mess up. Do yourself, and your car a favor and keep well away from this place. read more

Absolutely the worst carwash. I am also disgusted in the lack of effort the workers showed. I paid for the super saver which is $24.99 not including the tip I provided before they evan began working on my wash. The outside still had spots and and when I brought it up they said they can remove it with a wax at a extra cost. No all you need is elbow greese. My windows still had smudges on the inside. Dirt all over my rims, terrible I tell you just plain terrible! As far as the inside dust and dirt everywhere what a terrible job these men performed. I hope the owner of this wash really evaluates his workers because they are going to destroy your business. Please stay FAR AWAY from this location if you want a good wash. And I understand if you want it done right do it yourself but that shouldn't mean that services like carwashes should be mediocre or below average. This place SUCKS!!!! This place is a great deal. I had personally cleaned an area of my car that my aunt threw up on cause she was so wasted, but i just wasn't satisfied. So i looked around and almost every place that offers interior cleaning charges at least $100 for something really basic. However, this place is perfect. I got the whole outside washed, rims cleaned, tires shined, Carpet and mats Vacuumed, mats shampooed, and every surface of the interior touched up. It definitely did the job and i was satisfied. The Interior looked brand new. All this for $49.99. I highly recommend! A couple side notes 1. Tip the guys, they work hard 2. Keep in mind the material of your interior. I have leather, so they can easily clean and shine everything to make it like new. A cloth interior will have a different result, since they don't shampoo anything but the matts. But if you do have leather , these guys have proved they can do the same job for half the price. 3. Theres a difference between dirty and trashed. If your car is trashed like youve been living in it for years and havnt cleaned it once, this place is not for you. Go to the places that charge +$100 . read more

This is the only car wash I go to since I got my new car across the street at Honda. I go all the time. I made a u-turn to get in line for the car wash. I don't understand how I missed cars, but I apparently cut a car in line. The lady came out of her car and yelled at me so I backed into the middle of El Camino to let them go first. The worker told me no when I tried to get back in line. Not only was I yelled at by another customer but a worker told me to wait in the middle of el Camino. This was dangerous so I took off. I suggest you make your directions clearer before u you lose more business. read more

The reviews here are brutal. There's no such thing as perfect, especially in a society of pay-to-win. Did people forget we live in the Bay Area where everything is expensive? I purchased a full service wash of $19. And since my HRV is a mini-SUV in a way, there is an additional $5. Total is $24.99. Wasn't bad at all for the first try. I paid the most basic product they offered, and it's consistent. I used to go to millbrae car wash but they stopped using interior-cleaning. I have a big double-fur coat dog, so vacuuming and shampooing the interior is important to me. If you paid for their cheapest carwash, don't expect an amazing carwash. Did you remember, you being cheap? You get what you pay for. The guys at the carwash are doing their job. No point in being racist. They're working there to feed and support their families at home. The car wash is just OK at best. They try to rush the cars through, you MUST watch them and point out dirty spots they left. The car wash itself is bad... the guys who detail it afterwards pick up the rest. The over charge for SUV, trucks, and vans. NEVER by gas here... it's totally over priced, by at least 30 - 40 cents per gallon. Very little English is spoken here, some of the guys try but others just think their back in Mexico. read more

This is the closet car wash to Millbrae and Burlingame. It's convenient because it is right in San Bruno on El Camino Real. It's located in the Chevron Gas Station. Cheap and quick. I paid $9.99 plus $4.00 for a car wash AND interior vacuum. It took around 10 minutes for my wash. Get there early! It's good I went early morning on Sunday because the cars started lining up. Bring CASH for tip. They don't have an ATM machine around, nor do they have a line item on the debit receipt to leave tip for all the nice car-washers. Just don't expect a king's wash. read more

Terrible. I went to this place after a road trip left my car covered in dead bugs, leaves and pollen. I decided on one of their pricier washes (21.95) because of the aforementioned dirty condition of my vehicle. After the car emerged from the wash it still had bugs all over it. And, it literally looked like someone peed on it. However, this was not the worst part of the experience. Upon nicely asking about their rather odd washing methods the guy told me not to worry because the wash wasn't over. I stood there in horror as some guy sprayed my car down with window cleaner and proceeded to violently rub the bugs off with a terry cloth towel. Holy crap are you serious? Then the guys started talking smack about me in Spanish. Perhaps I should have mentioned that any kid in 8th grade Spanish could have understood them. Some minor details were missed in the dry and detail process but for the price, I would go back every other week...and recommend to my friends! I have gone back and forth with this establishment because its local but also because when the owner is there, the cars get cleaned well. If he's not there, forget it. The last time I brought my car here, I watched the guys vacuum only 1 side of my car. I got in and went through the wash and noticed how dirty the passenger side was so when i got out i told the manager and he was mad because they were short staffed. Not my problem - they shouldn't have let my car proceed without properly cleaning it to begin with but they're in such a hurry to get everyone in and out. I know most people don't care, but if i am spending money it should be done at the very least above average. They always leave a rag or a spray bottle in the back seat and my windshield is never cleaned or half way cleaned. Unfortunately, a good car wash has become hard to come by in our area. read more

After its wash, my car is only mostly clean. There had been a lot of bird droppings on top of the car which are almost gone but they didn't quite get all of it. I have huge regrets coming here for a quick wash... The guy started spraying down my car when my window was down. He couldn't give me 5 seconds after i talked to him to let me roll them up. If he had some common sense, he would have just started on the passenger side. Also, I got some pretty noticeable curb rash from the rinse cycle of the wash. My husband asked me to write this review for him. It appears that his opinion is shared by many others. Have you ever noticed those air/water machines that are located around the side of just about every gas station everywhere? Those machines are there in the event you overheat or have a flat tire. If you look closely, you will usually see a notice that says something about free air and water for customers only. Good customer service would dictate that if someone comes in with a flat tire and no spare change, even if he didn't buy gas that very morning, you turn on the air for him. I can't imagine the gas station owner incurring a huge expense for being a good citizen. We live down the street and purchase plenty of gas here. Being a jerk for the sake of being a jerk, in this day and age, will put you out of business. I would also be interested in knowing if their employee's social security numbers check out. Stopped in here on Saturday to get gas and decided to get my Avalanche washed. It had been sitting for awhile and was pretty dirty. These guys did an unbelievable job! The truck hasn't looked that clean and shiny in a long time. I was really impressed with the amount of effort they made to get every nook and cranny (inside and out). The Avalanche has plastic trim which tends to get dingy. I don't know what they used on it, but it looks 100% better. I was surprised to see all of these negative reviews, because my experience was great! I highly recommend this place. read more

This place is awesome! The wash crew is professional, efficient, and fast. I've taken my car here twice now and each time my car is sparkly clean when they finish. I only go with the basic $9.99 wash too. I bet the bigger package deals would bring even better results, but I don't feel the need to do too much with my car since it's older. I do have a brand new paint job on it though, so I'll probably bring my car in for a wax to protect the paint at some point. If you go to Chevron Car Wash, I recommend going during the week around the time where people are still in school or work. After work and on the weekends, the line to the wash can go on for days and you'll be waiting forever for your turn! I'll continue going here because I get my money's worth. I have a dark car and I just got back from a 2 week trip. Unfortunately, I left the car outside and it was covered in pollen. I decided to give this place a chance, because it was reasonably priced. I got their silver package. First, they vacuumed the interior. Not bad. Second, they ran my car through their washer. That's a little odd, considering that they advertised that they hand wash. Afterward, they wiped the car down on the outside and inside. The disappointing thing was the wipe down was done half-assed. The once-over was not enough to clean the exterior, and it left many spots uncleaned. They weren't even busy. Needless to say, the windows were completely streaky. Save your money. Worst car wash and most expensive in town. Use to have three cars washed here three to four times a week as we own a transportation service company until the day I was so rudely treated by the younger Mexican guy that takes the payment when you drive up. That was a year ago. Had my car washed and choose the one that didn't include tire dressing because I have my own bottle in the car. After the guys wiped down my car, I grabbed my armor all, sprayed my tires and borrowed one of the sponges they use to spread my tire dressing evenly. That Mexican guy saw that I was wiping my tires down and yelled at me telling me NOT TO USE THEIR PRODUCT COZ I DIDNT PAY FOR IT. I told him it was mine and showed him the bottle. Instead of apologizing, he told me NOT TO USE THEIR STUFF. I tried calling to make a complaint but nobody answers their phone. I tried for days to contact a manager or the owner but to no avail. So today a year later I had no other choice as the Millbrae car wash was so backed up that I had to return to this Chevron. Sadly I only live a block away however because of the competitive pricing that Millbrae offers and the quality of work that they do, we don't mind driving down there 3 to 4 times a week. And the workers are very respectful. I used your services today and it cost me $30. When I got into my car the interior was still filthy with scuff marks all over the sides of the door panels, the latte that I spilled on my center consul was still there dry and sticky and the dust particles on my dashboard and on my steering wheel were still there. My windshield has terrible streaks. San Bruno Chevron you lost our business a year ago and I gave you a chance coz we believe in supporting San Bruno businesses. After today I am never ever coming back to your station for gas and specially not for a car wash. Get with it you are the most expensive and there are other shows in town. I was just told to F off by Carlos. Basically because I asked him why a small Rav4 is 4 dollars more (just like a Suburban, Pilot, or any other LARGE SUV would be). It's practically the same size as a Focus, Prius. I only went here because it's a 2 second drive from my house. I always let the dirty rims, lower body dirt slide because of convenience. Not anymore. I was told this was a good car wash for $10 but when I showed up I found that they wouldn't clean the inside for that price. It was going to be $5 more for vacuum and $3 just for being a minivan, according to the sign they had up. This still didn't seem bad so I tried to sign up for it. The man in charge said the car was too dirty and he'd need to wash the seats and everything. I kept telling him I didn't care about that but he was rude and refused to listen. Eventually he tried to bully me into a $150 car wash. When I pointed out what was listed on his prices he was rude and continued to try to cheat me. The guy that works inside (younger guy) not sure his name is very rude. He does not give eye contact, when you ask about the options he just points to the card, he mumbles and clearly does not want to answer your questions. I went on 9/27 around 2:30. The guys outside are really nice, will correct a mistake when you point it out without an attitude. The one star is for them but they should get a least 4.The products that are given to them to use inside of the car are horrible. Really shiny and does not go on evenly. They should definitely change that and the horrible man working the register inside. The worst customer service ever!! I will NEVER go back and will tell everyone I know to do the same. read more

I should have done it myself ! Got a new car from dealer nearby, who uses this wash before car delivery. Well, the car wash was closed by the time I got my paperwork done at the dealer, so they gave me a voucher to get it washed later. My friend got a different brand of car at a different dealer recently and that new car got washed, detail, buffed - it was smooth as baby's behind when it was delivered - this was my expectation for my new car. Wrong! First I asked the guy who collects money what my voucher entails. He listed all the items so fast that I didn't catch half of what he said. It was free for me so I took my chance, figured it got to be decent if the dealer used them and they have a long line. After 15 min wait at the line, my car got vacuumed, then I drives it into the track for wash. It's been too long since I used auto car wash, I forgot to put my car in neutral. There was no sign or direction as to what to do. The guys who put soap on the car didn't say anything either. So my brand new car jerked couple times before I remember to put it in neutral. By then the car was all covers with foam, I can't even tell if anyone was even trying to tell me what to do. After the car has been washed, several guys took about 5 minutes to wipe inside and do whatever they do on the outside. All I can say is the car is no different from before. I can see spots missed on the glass, water mark at several places, there was even a scratch on the car. If they used wax I don't feel it at all! I ended up washing it again when I got home and clean the inside of all glasses myself. It was a waste of time and might have done more damage than it did good. read more
