But prices are still really high compared to your cheap stations but quality of gas is better. Sign up for their reward program and you'll get a few cents off per gallon. read more

Conveniently located on El Camino with competitive prices compared to other gas stations in the area. There were plenty of stations available so I was able to immediately get a spot and start filling up. The nozzle I had was a bit sensitive and stopped filling up after a few seconds so I had to reposition it and start again. read more

Nice big, well lit Shell Station at El Camino Real x San Bruno. I didn't use the carwash, as it was after 10pm. Staff had masks on inside the foodmart. Attendant walked around checking the pumps and trash. That's great. He walked right by the homeless man camped out about 6-feet from the entrance to the foodmart. I've been to 100's of gas stations, and have never seen a homeless person allowed to camp on the property. read more

I have liked the tropical ambience and the changing colored lights going through the drive-through car wash. I have always enjoyed this car wash and have looked forward to coming here when my car needed a good cleaning. Well, it was my preferred car wash until today when I discovered a huge dinosaur eating President Trump on the premises as I was exiting. I didn't appreciate it or particularly find it funny even though someone else may. Spaced out pumps. A couple of chairs by the front of the station which is convenient because there's a regular taco truck parked along side this Shell. This Shell is across from the mall and near the airport so it's consistently busy. The drive thru gets pretty busy too. It's got a touchless car wash. read more

I regularly get fuel here. Their prices are competitive. It's a very large lot with multiple entrances which makes it easy to get in and out while towing a trailer or driving a large vehicle.White guy with glasses is a role model employee. The late night guy is always friendly. read more

The girl who works here with the blonde hair needs to be fired. RUDE rolling her eyes and crap. Learn some customer service skills if you're going to be working in an environment where you have to deal with people. The older gentleman and the other guy weren't that bad. The younger guy was a little rude and seemed as if he was trying to cover up for a mistake. I came here with MY receipt that I had purchased a car wash on. I was saving to use the car wash cause the day I bought it there was a long line for the car wash and I didn't have time to wait. Weeks passed since life is life and it gets busy and I remembered about the car wash today. I went inside politely and asked if there was anything they could do in regards to honoring the car wash I had purchased. The younger gentleman said just go to the car wash and we will give you a free one. I told him ok. I went to the car after I finished fueling up my truck and waited and worried about how they were planning to give me a free car wash when I don't have a new code and no one is outside. The car ahead of me goes inside to get his wash I see the rude female attendant come out of the side door look around looking lost and go back inside. I'm thinking oh crap I hope they know what car. I wait and wait and now the car wash is finished for the car in front of me. No attendant. A line has built behind me. I'm not going to make others wait so I buy a car wash AGAIN. As I'm pulling into the car wash halfway the girl comes back out looks around again looking lost like she doesn't know what car she's looking for. I stare at her through my side mirror and wave her over. Idk if she doesn't understand/speak English but I try to tell her it was me who was supposed to get the free car wash. She just waves me to drive forward and then tells me to stop. I'm like huh? So I let the car wash do it's thing. After I'm finished I go back inside the store and let them know I just ended up buying another car wash. That's when the older gentleman was there. He said it's ok just give her a refund and while this is all going on the girl sits behind both men and just dog stares at me and rolls her eyes. I told the younger gentleman idk how I was supposed to get a wash when no one was out there. He said they were supposedly watching me from the camera and when he seen my car sent out the girl, but by the time she got out there it was too late I was too fast. I think this is a lie because 1.) unless the inside of that store is secretly a mile long there's no way they could've been watching me. 2.) I was well halfway almost where you had to stop for the car wash to start before she came out. So no you weren't watching. However I do appreciate the older gentleman authorizing the refund. But my suggestion is that his employees need to start learning customer service or find another job. read more

I came here to get my car washed in an automatic touchless car wash for $6.99, which is a really good deal! They have a loyalty card so that you can get a wash for free after getting a certain number of washes. This place is conveniently located right across from the Tanforan shopping complex. read more

This is my favorite shell of them all. The price is the most reasonable and their water and air machine is always working 100%. The PSI checking thing is always working unlike all the other shells i've been too. I feel like the other shells break it so you never use it or so you stop going there to fill up your tires... SMH. I wanted to share the amazing customer services I received from Shell. I knew the day would come--I locked my keys inside my vehicle at the gas pump--DOPE! Cyrus and all his staff members were extremely sympathetic of the situation and offered assistance and called State Farm. Unfortunately, Stride Towing took over 4 hours to come for the service call--insane right? The staff members at Shell on the other hand were so kind and offered me food and drinks. I didn't have my phone so how am I suppose to entertain myself? I managed to read the paper and chatted with the funny staff members. When I was finally rescued, I couldn't leave without giving everyone high-fives as I'm sure everyone was relieved to see me go (lol). Needless to say, I still wanted my car wash and was very impressed with their newer carwash technology. In SF, we have crappy self-wash stations or a completely expensive hand wash option. The underwater and whale themes are beautiful and I look forward to seeing the artistic experience they plan to incorporate soon. It's such a shame that birds attacked my car a few hours later--I'll write off the bad day, but I will always appreciate the amazing customer service and generosity by the staff members at Shell! I should have listened to all of the other negative reviews. But seriously this is probably the slowest car wash in the world! From start to finish it took 14 minutes to wash my car. Multiple that by the number of cars in line (4) waited roughly ~58 minutes. Don't waste your time or money!!! read more

Ugh don't even bother getting your car washed here. My car wasn't even that dirty in the first place and the $12 car wash still couldn't get the easy car wash job done. I waited 45 mins in a hot car and paid for a bad car wash. It's done by a machines that doesn't even touch your car and wastes soo much water. Hello we are in a drought! Pulled in for gas. The pump I was at was worthless - could not get it to dispense more than 20 cents worth of gas before the locking mechanism would pop and it would go off. Then it would not give me a receipt. The employee looked at me like I was from another planet when I went to her to simply report a problem and ask if anyone else had the same problems. DO NOT get your car washed here unless you want damage to your paint. I have taken my car to many automatic washes and hand washes and I have never had a problem. After washing my car here, there are mini specks of chipped paint ALL OVER my hood. read more

Hose was leaking gasoline. As i was losing gasoline that was leaking onto the side of my car, I was losing money so i can to stop and go to another pump. The other pump would not stay in my car so I had to hold it as it was pumping gas. What a horrible gas station read more

While driving through El Camino, i was surprised to see this gas station has a sign $2.99 a gallon for unleaded gas. I passed by this area regularly. I never filled my gas tank at this Shell Station because they used to be the most expensive around. Somehow the priced has dropped dramatically. This is sure the best price in this area for now, who know if its going to last. read more

This is by far the most expensive gas station in the bay area. When it's $3.70-$3.80 everywhere else, it's $4.25 here.
