They're never crowded during the time I visit, 6:45 a.m. Their convenience store is always well stocked. Coffee and condiments readily available. The staff working at the counter are always friendly with pleasant smiles. I enjoy receiving a car wash once in a while, and other staff monitor the car wash, helping patrons move along. If a vehicle has a window wiper blade on the back of the vehicle, the car wash attendant covers the blade with a narrow plastic bag to keep it safe. The only downside to the car wash are people blocking other people trying to get fuel, or people done vacuuming inside their car, trying to back up. Some of those people waiting in line for the car wash are really inconsiderate, not wanting to move their cars out of the way. Another convenience is Burger King right next to the fuel station.

Then all of a sudden, the hose disconnects from the terminal it's connected to. I can't make this up. It fell to the ground. Makes sense why gas wouldn't pump. Imagine if I was in the middle of pumping and then somehow the hose disconnects. Moved to another pump and was able to successfully pump.

Both times, the staff here have been happy and helpful ... not to mention fast (provided there are no crowds!)! I baby the heck out of my car, so I passed with flying colors both visits. I only say this because I babied the heck out of my previous car and I'd *still* get dinged (though not here ... I was in San Jose with my other car). This latest visit, I didn't even have to drive up onto the rollers! The diagnostic test didn't take more than 15 minutes for my sport SUV, and my data was sent straight to Sacramento which saved time for sure. Now anytime I need to get my car smogged, I'm doing it here!

Go inside for the attendant if paying by credit card. Located within a mile from Hwys 280 and 35. A good stop if you're on the way to the Great Highway, or Lake Merced and Sunset Blvds.
