Update: March 3 2019 We just got dinner delivered and it's like we got food from a totally different restaurant. We ordered the same things and they don't taste the same at all- perhaps they have a different cook or...? I don't know but we won't be ordering again for a while at least. We might try take out another time but not delivery. This is the best Chinese food we have had since we moved to AZ 11 years ago. We had the Chef special chicken, Mongolian beef, pork fried rice and crab puffs. It was all delicious. The actual restaurant is not meant for eating in- they have some tables and chairs but only plastic utensils and styrofoam plates and you have to order at the counter. We will definitely be getting take out but will not be eating there again. Also they only have bottled beverages, no soda fountain. read more

Very good! We were in the process of moving , hungry for lunch so we found this place. Ordered easily online, delivery did say it could take an hour it ended up taking about 35 min , the food was piping hot the man that delivered was very nice. We got teriyaki chicken , fried rice, beef and broccoli, lo mein and egg drop soup. The soup was a little on the bland side but good everything else was excellent. Prices were great! Moved to Surprise from Glendale we were sad not being able to order from our usual spot. But we have found our new favorite place to get Chinese food. We got 3 lunches and crab puffs! Food got to the house fast and hot! Just what we needed from a long couple days of moving and unpacking! Good portions I got the orange chicken it was tasty not spicy like the usual orange chicken. Wow! I love this place. The food is amazing, it was fresh, and how lovely is Bailey! She was so accommodating and attentive. The chef special chicken is a must, and the chicken fried rice is amazing as well. I won't take a star off, but the egg drop is mediocre at best. Everything else was so amazing it didn't matter though. The place is a ma&pa type shop it's not very decorated, but they provide really cool book and stuff to look at while you wait for your food. I never write review but given the situation I am. I placed my first order using grub hub.... the menu had the options listed as vegetarian. I was excited I could have them delivered to surprise, AZ. I live kinda of far and most places don't deliver. I was very hungry.... so when the order was delivered but the owner I was shocked. He was very nice btw. I admittedly opened the food and started eating it. I then after about two bites stared feeling weird. The food was not vegetarian and I broke Out in hives all over! I hate the fact they falsely advertised the food ad vegetarian! They are going to be held accountable for the fact the could of killed me. This restaurant needs to understand that people have allergies to certain things and if they fail to put the in the menu distribution then people who look for that would thing it's ok to eat this food. The second time he remembered my 7 year old and brought her a gift! Best place ever all around definitely ordering here again! I'm sadden to have to write a bad review for this place that has great food; however, warning hit or miss on the quality of food or customer service. One of my orders was fried rice which was brunt. I accepted the apology and the partial return. I thought the apology was sincere. I was only refunded for the burnt food. Now let's talk about the 2nd order. I received the wrong order. The delivery person expected me to exchange the order with other customer that received my order. I expressed my concern because I opened this order. I would not expect to accept an order that someone else has opened in their home. The expectation from this establishment was for me to accept food that was delivered to the wrong address and to be satisfied by this. This really concerns me. I am very very disappointed. I placed an order for delivery in the amount of $30. We ordered teriyaki chicken, which was simply chicken tossed atop white rice and teriyaki sauce just poured on top and the other order was General tso chicken which was so soggy I thought they had dumped it in water before putting it on the plate. We also had 2 orders of crab puff which were burnt to an absolute crisp, I mean the edges were black! We also ordered 2 egg rolls which we NEVER received, although we did get the egg roll sauce!! We ended up throwing THE ENTIRE DINNERS (2of them) ALONG WITH THE CRAB PUFFS IN THE TRASH! Chicken McNuggets taste better a and they're pretty bad! I also ordered all white meat, but I believe it was that processed, stamped together chicken, so it all looks white! NEVER, ever, ever, will I order from there again! I have ordered food from Chef Panda three times. Once in June 2019 and then again in December 2019. The food these two times was great and would have received a much higher rating, but unfortunately, my visit on January 7th diminished my feelings. I ordered the same thing each time...their BBQ Pork Egg Foo Young and the Pork Moo Shu Pork. The Moo She Pork was delicious all three times and I would highly recommend this dish. The Egg Foo Young on the other hand was terrible this last visit. The egg part was like a hard ball of dough...nothing that resembled egg nor any kind of vegetable. I understand that there can be an occasional problem and I would have passed on writing a negative review had Patrick (owner?) followed-up on what he said he was going to do. After getting home and trying the Egg Foo Young, I called Patrick to let him know that there was a problem. He kindly apologized and said that he would credit my charge card for the dish. Awesome and I felt satisfied with the exchange...BUT....the credit was never made as Patrick said. By the way, Patrick was an great guy and I was very impressed with my first two visits, I'm just disappointed that the credit wasn't made as promised. read more
