I don't know how I missed it, but I'll be back often now that I know. I told her my love of cold brew and she offered me a sample of both their regular and Nitro. She said the Nitro has said to be liked more by their customers. I agree. It was so smooth. The regular had a tiny acidity to it, but not bad. Her customer service was awesome. I ordered one with vanilla cold foam and a tad sf vanilla. They only offer one size in drinks. I also went opposite of my usual and ordered a French Toast shaken espresso iced. It's one of theocmost popular. You only live once and I know I'll be amped all day ha ha. I then ordered an iced vanilla chai to take to my niece. The shop is small but offers a cozy room to chill, a few seats near the register as well as a table and a few seats out front. There is a fuel lot next door to park, but also a couple paved including a handicap accessible spot. All the drinks were so good. I honestly think the shake espresso may be my new favorite drink. I'd heard a little rumbling about Birdies Coffee Lounge which sits inside the Palmbrook in Sun City. The views of the golf course are beautiful from here. You can't miss where you need to be with the huge white double doors. Once inside you will see assorted large rooms where wedding receptions, celebrations of life and more may be celebrated. Veer your eyes a little to the left and you'll see where the coffee lounge is which is also a full bar. I was a bit confused at first because it was in a bit of disarray with stools pushed back from the bar and tables covered. A wonderful woman soon came out from the back and when I asked if they were open she stated they were closed until October 18th for remodeling and so other things. I let her know it stated they were showing open online when she quickly apologized. We got to talking and she offered to make me a coffee though options were limited due to the closure. That was so sweet of her. Of course my go to is cold brew which they didn't currently have, but let me tell you she made me the best iced americano I've ever had. With just a splash of half and half and sf vanilla I was in heaven. Even the color was on point. When you know you know. The location again is beautiful and better than I'd imagined before opening that first set of doors. I can't wait to come back when they reopen.
