Breakfast the Chicken and the Egg
    Maxine L.

Airy little brunch spot. Street parking was definitely doable for us. We came for brunch and were seated right away. I'm a sucker for small portions, so i ordered the onesie with the cheeky French toast (banana filling). The French toast was interesting; deep fried, so super crispy throughout. The cooked banana flavor isn't super strong, and is all kinda mush with the inside soft bread. Interesting concept, but I prefer the traditional French toast lol. Bacon and egg were pretty standard. My partner had the chicken and the egg sandwich. It was pretty good! The scrambled egg was super thin, so not sure if it was super standout. Service was really quick and nice. Overall, pretty standard spot, nothing that stands out.

We came here for breakfast and I wanted to try the fry bread. It was a little different from the fry breads I've tried in past and resembled more of a zeppole. I made a breakfast sandwich out of the meal I ordered .

Came here on a Saturday morning and were seated right away! If you get takeaway, you order at the counter and if you eat there, you're seated and someone comes to take your order. We got the cheeky french toast with berries and the loco moco. The loco moco has been one of the best I've had in Seattle so far! I loved that there was a lot of gravy and the meat was so flavorful. The french toast was good, a bit too sweet for me. I'd come here again for the loco moco!

Cheeky Cafe is a well known neighborhood cafe! We had heard lots about this cafe and wanted to give it a try! First off when you walk it, the atheistic and environment is very cute and simple. There is about 15 tables and immediately you feel like you are at home. As you walked to the counter to order the menu is projected on the board no QR code which I love. There is all day breakfast and lunch. My friends were raving about the spam and eggs so we ordered two. It was delicious. I ordered the BELT (bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato). I opted out of the bacon and replaced it chicken sausage. It was amazing. The sandwich was placed in two thick slices of toast and comes with a garlic aioli on the bread. The sauce was so good I order an extra side of it. We also ordered a Chai latte, orange juice and some tea! Cheeky Cafe is definitely going to be in our new breakfast spot rotation! I can't wait to try more on the menu! Come to Cheeky's if you want that home style local neighborhood spot!

Cheeky Cafe has been around for a while, one of the good spot for Brunch. I normally would get the Fresh Toast but this time I wanted to try the Omelet and it was entirely different than what I'm use to. Definitely use to more veggie being mixed in but this one the veggie are stuffed in. I don't mind onion and mushroom but felt like there was too much !? Maybe but thats My opinion but I enjoyed the company, environment and the workers.

Came here on a whim after arriving in Seattle and so glad we did! Great service, cozy ambiance and I had an amazing veggie omelet packed with mushrooms, onions, spinach, tomatoes, and cheddar. Super tasty! My son had the French toast and was happy.

3.5 Good value for the fun options! American//Asian fusion breakfast food. The serving staff was sweet! Albeit a bit slow, they sat us but then didn't bring waters or check in for 15 minutes and it was a hot day and we walked so that was a bit discouraging at first, but then the food came quickly once we got our order in! It was also brunch, there wasn't a wait but it was maybe busier than usual (I have no reference). I got the side salad with Caesar and it was weirdly good for how simple it was! The spicy mac was a great serving size, but could definitely use more kimchi and the sauce itself wasn't super thick so the kimchi juice made it a bit watery at the bottom. My friend loved her spam and eggs! In sum: can't really complain because for Seattle these were great prices!!! Super cute spot inside with high ceilings, felt like a queer-friendly space where some tables were clearly there to hang out and I love that.

Didn't look like much but the loco moco meatloaf was so good! The gravy was incredible! I love the small mom and pop vibe here and the unique Asian fusion recipes. The owners were really sweet and made sure our water was filled and that we had all the sauces we needed. This was one of my favorite restaurants that I visited on my trip to Seattle

Had to wait like 40 mins before getting a table for 2, which was surprising since this place has more of a diner vibe. We thought people would have been in and out quicker. After we ordered, it made more sense though, since it took a while for our food to come out. We ordered an omelet, carbonara, a chai latte, and coffee. The hash browns were way too dry and didn't have any hold to them at all. The omelet and carbonara were good though. Would have rated higher if it hadn't taken so long to get a table and get food.

Always looking for new good breakfast places. I don't know why it's so hard to find more. The menu at Cheeky Cafe looked exciting, breakfast food with a Hawaiian/Asian type flare. We were excited to try all the things. We had the fry bread, chili hash browns, cheeky pancake breakfast and the breakfast sandwich. I'm sad to report it was all just "ok". Nothing that I will leave thinking about and nothing to return to have anytime soon. If your just in the market for some "regular" food, this place is will fit the bill.

The staff were friendly, though service was a bit inattentive; I found myself waiting longer than expected for basic things. Interestingly, when I ordered noodles and asked for chopsticks, they told me they didn't have any. It was quite a surprise to find an Asian restaurant serving noodles without chopsticks. As for the food, it was fine, but nothing memorable for the price. I've had better Asian food elsewhere in Seattle for less. If you're after a stylish, brunch-aesthetic spot to try Asian-inspired dishes, Di Fiora fits the bill. But if you're going purely for the flavors, you may leave underwhelmed.

These weren't your typical fries though. They were Dutch-style, coming topped with mayo, satay, onions, and chili sauce. A mix of Dutch and Indonesian flavors. This probably was my favorite dish. The combination of pungency, fattiness, crispiness, and spiciness was very good. It kind of reminds you of a plate of nachos, but the fries themselves have a better taste than a bed of chips would have. They manage to stay crispy almost until the end. The main dish I had was the South African Bunny Chow. This was a chicken masala curry inside a bread bowl, spilling out on either side. This was very solid as well. The curry tasted similar to a butter chicken - lightly spiced and creamy, but the chicken inside was quite juicy. The act of putting this inside a bread bowl was very cool. It made it easy to get both the bread and the curry in a single bite with a spoon I didn't like the dessert much, though. What I had was the chocolate malva, but the apricot was way too forward and the sweetness was missing. I tried the Danish cake as well but found this similarly disappointing. The price ended up being somewhat expensive, at around $45 per person after the meal, despite the deal. Portions were solid though. Overall, it's a cool avenue to try different street foods, but I wouldn't say anything special. 7.25/10
