This is the WORST Cheddars I have ever been to! Wait staff & management is awful! My mom came to visit from San Antonio and we love our Cheddars in SA so we thought this would be the perfect lunch spot with all of our different likes in food.... I truly regret this decision. I Received my salad which we had no silverware... table next to me had the sane problem. We literally waited 10min before receiving. Then my pot pie had a plastic piece of what it looked like a barcode on top of it so at this point I was annoyed I asked to speak with manager they apologize and offered to get me anew one which when he brought it out i declined, it looked to me to be the same one I had given back. I ended up not eating lunch. It was unreal it almost seemed like nobody cared the whole experience was TERRIBLE! My mom ordered tea never got. My brother ordered the Cajun pasta which is suppose to be served with garlic bread which my brother never got and they charged us for that as well. The food is amazing! Fantastic and not overpriced. The service and management is HORRIBLE. My iced tea sat empty for half the meal. The other servers I asked for a refill never brought it. When we spoke to a manager he told us we should have gotten him involved sooner (we couldn't find anyone to go get him!!!) and then did nothing to rectify the situation. Food is great. Service is kind of slow. The thing that bothered me most is that my cell service didn't work in there. At all. I saw several others having the same issue. I've been here a hand Full of times and 2 out of that hand have I set at the bar. Normally a good idea u would think as there is really no one sitting there so the service should be quicker. Food is fine, but servers and service was so bad it totally ruined our celebration evening. I took two friends out to dinner here to celebrate their oil ledge graduation. The restaurant was not crowded at all. We were seated in the bar area where there were only three other tables. I noticed right away that the waiters were in filthy clothes that fit them all like homeless people. Our server had a dirty, wrinkled shirt and a blue tie with two large stains on it. He was unshaven with uncombed hair. He looked like he slept in his loathes and rolled out of bed to come to work. The other female server in the room wasn't much better at all. We started with drinks which took 15 minutes for two of them to arrive and we were told that the bar was out of the scotch we ordered. My friend looked again in the bar list and selected another scotch. 10 minutes later a return from the waiter with the same message. I asked why it was taking so long to get drinks and a response from the bar? He said the bartenders put out drinks "when they want to, not when they re needed." Another scotch was ordered with the same result so he redrew a Cosmo. Our food revived before we had all of our drinks! And guess what... The orders were wrong! Instead of sending them back we got the manager. All she did was ask us over and over again 'What do you want me to do about this?" I told her not to ask again, just do something... It didn't matter, the evening was ruined, so just do something! This used to be a terrific place to et, but steely has even ruined by uncaring staff who take no ride in the restaurant, their appearance or the service to customers. We won't be back. Bad service! Jackelyn, our waitress was not paying attention to us. I waited so long for my water to get refilled that the leftover ice turned into water! In addition, I had to ask for the A1 sauce twice before receiving it. The wait time for the A1 sauce was so long that my steak got cold and wasn't appetizing anymore. Jackelyn wasn't approachable and not a single smile was shown from her. I had to speak to the manager just to refill water and mention other complaints. Cheap, good food!! I wish they took reservations though! The service is pretty good. We've had small issues with our meals but nothing major and they always fix it. The cheap margaritas are great!! I would not recommend the cheddar club. The bread is toasted in a toaster and the edges were so hard it tore up the roof of my mouth. It was dry and I could have made it better.
