Excellent food, great prices. Not crowded, packed ir or loud. Put table was a good space from the next table- Almost felt like we were the only ones in the room. Service was excellent. Our seats were a tad hard but we stayed for like 2 hours. I got in the wait list an hour before and got seated right when we arrived. I had the ribs & shrimp with baked potato & broccoli casserole. Pretty good food, great place to gather with friends. Food is good but nothing special

We came with friends for a later lunch bite. Our server initially was friendly, but once we ordered, she was not seen again until the bill came. I ordered a baked potato that at best was warm. I ordered the topping on the side and the bacon amounted to less than a quarter of a strip crumbled, a few pieces of cheddar cheese and butter that was melted into the sour cream so it could not be portioned nor separated. We also ordered a fried chicken salad and the salad greens had seen better days. The tomatoes were as wilted as the greens that were chopped haphazardly. Because it was later in the afternoon, the place was fairly quiet. It's a new place with the typical Cheddar's corporate decor. Although we have been to other locations in other states, this location was more than disappointing. read more

It's not the worst, but definitely not the best. Our first date was at the Scratch in Chandler so we come every year. But now we live in the West Valley so we come to the Glendale location. First off, the little table kiosks they make you use to pay are stupid. I'm come to a sit-down restaurant to have a dining experience. Those little things take away from that. Okay, service was nice. Our server didn't tell us her name, so I can't call her out. She was friendly and prompt. The food was so-so. I'm not sure what the difference is, but I got to a similar restaurant (Bubbas 33, for example) and the food is just better. But it was fine. I mean, I didn't walk away hungry. About the broccoli. What's with all the garlic? Yuck. Lighten it up, Frances. And please, make a smaller size sangria. I don't need to suck from a fish bowl as a grown adult. It is huge chucks of potatoes not the cream stuff you are use to. It was ok. The chicken pot pie was very good (would get it again). The spinach dip was ok, but a little salty then I liked. A friend and I brought 4 kids with us to grab lunch during spring break last week, all I can say is the food is fresh! The chicken in our wrap was so thick and juicy. Plenty to share between 2 women. The kids were happy with their meals and they are a great price! Love that they can get other sides besides fries. I can't wait to bring my husband back and try more of their food. We went for a Sunday late lunch. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door and seated promptly. Tristen, our server, was right there delivering warm croissants and taking our drink order. Had manager reach out asking me to give them another try. I was unable to take his calls and vice versa and I just went in. Ordered basically the same thing I did last time but sat in a booth since the bar service was stressful last time. I did feel like the overall experience was more on par with good previous experiences. Salad was a good deal fresher. Food was warmer, not "just prepared" hot, but not lukewarm. I will say the restaurant IS beautiful. Did not have previously have the opportunity to appreciate fantastic brick arches in dining room. First time customer. When on Mother's Day, but called ahead and was added to wait list. Waited maybe 10 minutes once we got the there and on Mother's Day, Amazing. Server was great and attentive. Food was really good, we had 5 people and all liked their meal. My ribs were delicious, smoked in- house. One of the managers stop by to make sure we were all good. A truly very good experience. I've dined here several times. Most of the food is overly salty. The service is pretty good, the desserts (especially the vanilla bean ice cream) are really delicious. First time in a Cheddar's Was in Kentucky. At that time there was none in Arizona. They one came to the east side of town, bummer. Finally one came to Arrowhead. As of now I have been there with my wife and several times with a friend. Must like this place. I like their menu. Could be a few more selections. Meal always starts with a couple of buttered croissants. Nice touch. Last trip I got their beacon cheese burger. My friend got the Country fried steak. He likes this because he can take half home for dinner. One thing I really like the choice of sides. Usually hamburgers come with fries. Here you have a larger choice. I usually get green beans. It is nice to have a selection. The waiter was very nice and helpful. The place very clean and neat. The prices I believe are maybe a dollar or so lower than some of the rest in the area. Hint. They have one of the pay at the table, game machines. If you play with the games by mistake you might get a charge on your bill. The only cheese dishes on the menu were cheese curds, grilled cheese, and cheesesteak sandwich. I went for lunch, the three salads offered were very basic, no good sandwich options, settled on a burger which after saying I didn't want pink in the middle, still had pink in the middle and no flavor. The bottom bun was so soggy with grease that I couldn't pick it up and ended up only eating the non-pink parts with a fork. The fries were the best part. I do not recommend this restaurant, I could have eaten a much better burger a stone's throw away at Habit Burger. read more

My husband and I visited yesterday for the first time and boy it was interesting! We waited about 5-10 minutes for high top seating in the bar area, and I really feel for the hostess and staff. The whole time we were at dinner, we witnessed three or four guests who were rude, trying to make a fuss, and were just not very nice at all. HUGE PROPS to the hostesses and our waitress (I can't remember her name but she had long black hair and had it back in a pony tail). The hostesses stood their ground respectfully even though the guests were in their faces, our waitress politely asked an older couple to leave the seats they had taken themselves as there was a wait to be seated, and overall just props to them. We had never been to a Cheddars before, the food was great and came out quickly, the pricing was affordable, and we had a show! Haha. I would highly recommend this place, although when we left the wait was very long so I'd recommend calling ahead to get a wait time as they don't take reservations. read more

Took the family there for a post church lunch. Their menu does not make it easy to choose. They have so many delicious sounding items it'll make you scratch your head. Between the Buffalo chicken wraps, the 1/2 lb. Bacon burger, or the shrimp and chicken strips. I chose the latter with breaded shrimp, southern style green beans with bacon, and corn off the cob. Let me get something straight, I DO NOT eat green beans period! But something made me choose these and I was not disappointed, delish!!!!! The corn was buttery and good as well. But,,,,, these were some of the best chicken strips I have ever had. Light breading, fried perfectly, and not chewy. The shrimp were just as good. Order it with a side of buffalo sauce for the chicken and you will not be disappointed. The Mrs ordered the sirloin steak with a perfectly baked potato with butter, sour cream, and cheddar cheese! See what they did there? "Cheddar" cheese? All in all, we were very impressed. From the service, to food quality and quantity. Our first time here, Erika brought out nicely fresh honey butter Croissants. We ordered what Erika recommended (Tenders and Ribs with broccoli and sweet baby carrots) and (Ribs with French fries and broccoli casserole), Tenders were juicy and the ribs just fell off the bone and were so delicious, the Broccoli casserole was so yummy. In all, everything tasted great, Erika did a great job keeping our water full and the food came out hot!! We really liked her and she was great to have for our first time here. Busy lunch hour but we were seating pretty quickly. First off, they bring you these like croissants with this amazing butter (but it's not butter?) so those are very yummy!! I got the country fried steak with mashed potatoes/corn. You can choose between one piece or two so I just got the one and thank goodness I did cause it is HUGE! My minor complaint is they put wayyy to much gravy (maybe people like that??) I usually order mine on the side but I forgot this time and I thought it was too much cause it drowned the taste of the potatoes and chicken and both were tasty on their own. One of the worst experiences ever! Waited 45 minutes for our food after placing our order with the server and it wasn't a difficult order (2 burgers with fries and a whitefish meal). The server didn't come to offer drink refills or check on us and I actually had to "chase her down" to see what the problem was and why the wait was so long. She said she'd check but instead, sent a different server over to talk to us. When the food finally came, the burgers were lukewarm, the fries were soggy and the fish meal was lukewarm too. Not worth what we were charged. Also very loud, which made it hard to have a conversation. Writing this restaurant off after wasting $50. read more
