The servers are great and very nice. The atmosphere is pretty too. My kid ordered some plain tortillas and they were stale and soggy. Not good. The rest of the food was good, not great, but good. But WOW the portions are TINY now! I got a side of buttered corn and I finished it in three bites. I must of been like 1/5 of a can or something. The steak was also tiny. Our first visit. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress was very nice. We didnt eat a lot. Had the cheese curd and shared a T-bone steak. We loved everything. The steak wasn't to bad for a chain restaurant. They have a bar area and tvs to watch. And they give you free glazed buff bread. Not sure what to call them but very good. Overall the food was pretty good. The portions are very big so we all had leftovers. Sadly, the food was cold upon arrival and some menu items were accidentally forgotten by our waiter. We had empty drinks at our table so we did not get any refills during our meal. Our table was not pre bussed either so our apps and other dishes stacked up. I rarely saw our waiter Ro, yet when we did he was friendly and accommodating, yet slow to return to the floor. At one point he with our initial drinks he stopped at the table right before ours to pick up his tip and place in his pocket. We chose to dine at early on a Friday as we know they can be busy. We were there by 4:30 had a 5 minute wait to be seated and that was the best service. Our seat was near the entrance so I was cold for a majority of the time as the door was open and closing often as they got busy. I have been to this location 4 total times and this was the least favorable experience I have had. I am unsure when or if I will return. read more

We have dined here twice. The first time, we had the chicken fried steak and the meatloaf. The meatloaf came out dry and burnt. The chicken fried steak was heavily breaded and too salty. Fast forward a couple months. We had a gift card and decided to give it another try... Both of us ordered the fried white fish for lunch. It came out crunchy but very undercooked inside and mushy. We let the mgr know and she said that's the texture of whitefish and that they are testing it out. If you know fish, you can see in the pictures that it is clearly nearly raw. We just gave the remainder of the gift card as a tip that included the comp. We will not ever dine here again. read more

On a positive note the staff was great. Our server Valerie was attentive to our needs and concerns. My wife had the salmon Caesars salad which she enjoyed. I ordered the BBQ ribs unfortunately the ribs were cold along with the baked potato. Valerie apologized profusely and brought me a hot order of ribs. The issue didn't end there half of the ribs were excellent and half was overly cooked and burnt. The facility has warm appearance with a bright look and comfortable seating. The bar is a great place to enjoy a sporting event on one of many TV's. I was hoping I found a nice comfort food restaurant to enjoy. My wife and I go to Cheddars at least once a month with our kids and not once were we disappointed with the food or the service....until yesterday when we went there with a party of 8 from out of town. The server was very short and not pleasant at all. Everybody in my party had negative feedback about her. She even went as far as to take my food away before I even finished my meal. I didn't want to make a scene in front of my family but we were very disappointed. I've frequented this restaurant since they opened a few years ago. My experience has always been positive. Good food, good service. It was also our go to place when family and friends would visit from out of town. My last 3 visits have been very disappointing. I don't know if they are under new management or the quality of food and service has just gone down but I was very unhappy with our last few times there. Had to ask for a ice tea or even a glass of water three times, took at least ten minutes, which is long. And three different servers. Finally got my tea. Caesar salad as one of my two sides was more like Caesar soup, extreme amount of dressing and no romaine lettuce, a mountain of croutons and no cheese. The rib eye was a limited time 16 oz bone in rib eye with garlic herb butter. Ordered medium rare. Steak came out no butter, no flavor, toughest rib eye ever. Had to salt it myself. Wife ordered ribs and shrimp. Ribs were beyond heat lamp dry and shrimp had a mix of chicken tenders in with the fried shrimp. Forgot her second side. And charged us at the end black angus prices.If I were to give advice stay clear of this particular location. I may try again if I see a different location somewhere. For now, I will never go back. To top it off it looks like a cheaply decorated pizza parlor and has nothing special to offer in looks and atmosphere as well as food and service. Sad place, I had hopes for at one time. read more

Fun, friendly and fast. We had a fantastic first experience here. I ordered a half rack and fried shrimp, G ordered a half rack and the kiddo ordered fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. My husband and I had our first date here five years ago. We've been coming ever since on our "first date" anniversary. This was our first time at the Peoria location (usually we go to Chandler) and it wasn't the same. I'm pretty sure I got a sirloin steak instead of the ribeye I ordered but was charged for the ribeye. The steak was lean but tough. The "loaded" potato only had a little bit of cheddar cheese on it (I asked for no sour cream), and it was dry. I only ate about half of it all and took the rest home for the dog. My husband liked his Dijon chicken, though. No complaints there. Oh, and the chips and queso is not true queso. It's some sort of Velveeta thing with peppers, probably out of a can. Not good at all.
