I hope they can get their act together and also hope that they will recognize the importance of a customer. Tonight, I attempted to order for curbside pickup. I did so, using my iPhone, going through their website. I got all the way through my order and it wouldn't complete after entering credit card information. I tried again and it still didn't work. I then called the restaurant, explaining the problem. I was put on hold for two or three minutes, then someone else came back on the phone, explaining that the person that passed me off to him had said that I had been charged for an order that had already been picked up. No....not the case. I explained what had happened and I was told, rather matter of factly, that the website had a problem and that I had to use the app. I was never offered the opportunity to place my order, only told that I had to try again using the app. No apology for the inconvenience, nothing. I downloaded the app and tried again. After making my selection and picking out the appropriate options, it told me that the order couldn't be completed. I am not technology illiterate. The problem was clearly a glitch in the app. Again, I called, but I hung up after being left on hold for three or four minutes, without anyone ever coming back to the phone. I called one last time, hoping to get a better response by asking to speak to a manager. When I explained to the manager what had happened, he apologized and offered to take my order (at last!) I gave him my order and my credit card information, telling that I wanted to use their "contactless" pickup. I put a couple of dollars in the back of my SUV, readying a tip for the person who was going to bring it out to my car, realizing that my ordering in this fashion would not give me the opportunity to do so. Upon arrival at the curbside parking area, I called and advised that I was there. Rather quickly, my order was brought to my car, but I was asked to sign a credit slip. So much for the "contactless" pickup... I told the young lady that brought my order to my car that I had asked for "contactless" pickup and preferred not to sign and she did not persist. Thinking that the ordeal was finally over, I looked forward to eating my dinner - the country fried chicken entree that I have found to be very good when eating at another Cheddar's. The chicken was good, but the "Texas toast" that it was supposed to served on was nothing but a slice of bread, ever so slightly browned that calling it "toast" would be a real exaggeration. Perhaps I am just so disappointed by the ordering fiasco that I am being overly critical. At any rate, I don't know if I will return to this Cheddar's. I gave this restaurant two stars, being a bit more generous as I recognize that a new restaurant deserves the opportunity to get it's act together, but this experience doesn't make me want to rush back anytime soon. read more

Decided to try Cheddars for the first time but it was just a bland experience. The shepherds pie had no flavor whatsoever.

We ate there Sunday 1/29/23 for the first time. Lunch around 11:30. The service was excellent. The honey butter crescents were amazing, and a surprise. We ordered chips and queso, both better than we have had at many Mexican restaurants. The dijon chicken with mushrooms was delicious, and as I planned, enough for two additional meals at home. My husband had bacon cheeseburger, also one of the best burgers he has had in a long time. read more

I love Cheddar's but if you order Curbside just Beware. I probably order their Family Bundle salad weekly and lately they just make it whatever way they want to. Ingredients missing, smaller than normal and just not good. Also, I order the Penne Pasta from the kids menu and it is always dry - I guess they think kids don't like sauce on their food. I do their survey they send after you get your order but never hear anything from them. At first when I started ordering they were great but the last 3 or 4 times I guess they figure I order all the time so just throw together whatever they want and not care that I am a returning customer. It is very aggravating because I like Cheddar's. Thinking I might need to take a break from ordering from them though. read more

We were here a few months ago, and it was very good. Today, it took at least 30 minutes to get our food. The fries were cold, broccoli cheese casserole was dry, burger buns were tough, and one of the forks was very obviously dirty. They brought us 3 croissants for table of 4. Nothing like the last time. read more

We tried Cheddar's last week and had a wonderful meal. Nice and clean and very comfortable restaurant. Alyssa served us and she was outstanding. She provided us with a very detailed nutrition printout so that dietary guidelines could be maintained. She went out of her way to make sure all questions were answered and all of our needs were met. Came for my daughters birthday. More than 20 minutes, before server came to take off r order. Came or & pen was broken. She was very nice. They seated us where the server was on break which is lousy. Need better managers. read more

My friend and I tried to go to Cheddar's on Saturday and there was a small wait...we were told 10 minutes, she took my phone number, and we were asked to go outside due to Covid. We were on a bench right outside door and waited around 30 min. We started noticing others who had arrived after us were getting a table. so we went inside to ask. The young lady told us she had tried to call my phone twice, never received a call, had my phone out the whole time, so she skipped over us. Never trying to even step outside and call my name, just skipped over and left us sitting and waiting. Who knows how long we would have waited if we hadn't went in to inquire. She told us to wait outside but could not take a minute to stick her head out the door after supposedly trying to reach us by phone. We left and I am not sure I will attempt to go back. My mother and I arrived tonight Monday April 10th and spoke with the hostess, she asked if we would like to sit in the bar or dining area we requested a table in the dining area. The hostess stated that tables were not available, it was not busy and I saw many visibly open tables. She informed us that a booth would be the only option available. We informed the hostess that my mother is disabled (stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her legs spine and brain) and that a booth would not be accommodating to her needs. The hostess said that all they really had right now was booths. My mother spoke up and asked why they couldn't be more accommodating for people with disabilities? The hostess then said "give me just a few" and left the stand. After a few moments she came back and said that we could get a table but it would be 15-20min wait and she could put us on the waitlist. Mind you there are tables that are clearly clean and available and it is a Monday night. We decided that this wasn't the service we wanted and decided to eat somewhere else tonight. This has not been the experience we have had there before but it sure has left a bad taste based upon tonight's experience with the hostess not wanting to conform to ADA accomedations. read more

What a great experience with Cheddar's last week. I ordered two take-out meals online, and used the curbside pickup. The ordering process was very easy and my order was brought out to the car almost immediately after I checked in with my phone. Our food was hot and delicious - BBQ ribs and coconut shrimp combo with wonderful mashed potatoes and gravy, and a Monte Cristo sandwich with bacon cheese fries. Plus those heavenly croissants. Healthy - no, but it was a celebration meal with my mother-in-law. We both really enjoyed our food, and the price was so reasonable. Way to go, Cheddars! The only reason I gave one star is because the food was really good. First the eclub rewards program wasn't working. I tried signing up for it multiple times with zero luck. We're new to the area so I sign up for everything. With signing up you're supposed to receive free chips and queso. When I showed the waitress that I was trying to sign up she stated that it's been a problem for everyone, so the manager would honor the free app. Which I had to ask for twice before it was brought out. And we were still charged for it. We never got our "painkiller" drink we ordered. Zero acknowledgment of that from the waitress, we were charged for that also. We didn't receive the side garlic bread one entree came with, we got a wrong side on another entree (the meal was ordered as is on the menu, not being picky) and my kids hamburger came with cheese when I explained my autistic son being VERY picky about this. I paid for it. He's allowed to be picky. Don't "at me" about this. It was literally one thing after another. On top of all of this our waitress (I didn't get her name, I never saw a name tag when trying to spot it) never asked if there was anything else we needed, how our food was etc. She would drop the food and run off. As we were sitting down I was warned from someone about their poor customer service. But as Cheddar's has something for everyone in my big family of 6, I wanted to see for myself. Unfortunately this statement proved to be true. Disappointed. Sad that this place is so new and already has a bad rep. Hire better staff that pays attention to their table and orders. My husband and I ate here at the newly opened location. Food was very tasty, and the croissants were delicious!!! I had the new shrimp dish and it was outstanding!. I am glad that we arrived at 11 am because it got very busy in just a few minutes after opening. Keep up the good work! read more

Three people in our party ordered the 6 ounce sirloin steak. One was ordered as medium, one medium rare and one rare. The medium steak was medium and tough but edible, the medium rare steak was dry and tough and the rare steak was rare but too tough to eat. The server stopped by the booth to see how everything was, but immediately left before we could answer. . After we were finally able to flag him down, he did offer to replace the medium rare steak that was dry and tough but the person with the medium steak and the one who had a hamburger were finished and ready to leave. The medium rare steak were packaged so they could be given to our dogs as we certainly were not able to eat them. Additionally it was so loud in the restaurant we couldn't even have a conversation. Two were visitors from out of town to celebrate birthdays, and had limited time to stay. A nice meal and conversation would have been nice. This was a very disappointing experience. The hostesses here are terrible. i am at home , sick while my family went out to eat , the host there then decided to catch an attitude with my mom and family. and with my mom being nice she left no problem. if i were there i would let the host there know that that's no way to speak to guests. i work at another restaurant as a hostess and to go. i would like for y'all to improve yalls hospitality, and to the hostess who talked to my mom , please in the future, BE NICER !!! there's also courses online to learn hospitality, your restaurant can provide it for you read more

excellent place. prices are unbelievable for drinks and food. about 90% of the menu is delicious.

This is the 2nd time we have been here since they opened. The first time service and food were just ok at best. Hostess was very friendly when we came in and that was the only thing I could say good about the first visit. Since it had just been open about a month at our 1st visit we decided to give it another try yesterday for lunch. Service was just ok. Waitress made sure to always ask my husband if he needed more tea and made sure it was always full but never once asked me even though my glass was less than half and at one point empty when she dropped off a fresh glass for him. We were seated near the bar and noticed the bartender had gone missing for quite a while. Tickets were pouring in, customers sitting at the bar with empty glasses not looking happy,and other waitresses seemed upset as well coming to the bar looking for their drinks. The Food was still just ok. We left most on our plates We have visited other Cheddars before and could not wait for this one to open. We are sadly disappointed. This will not be on our list to try again for quite a while, if ever. read more
