This was my Buffalo Chicken Wrapper. It was embarrassingly small. Almost $13.

Well, I paid for multiple sides of ranch and they were all missing. Food was cold despite picking up on time. Avoid this cheddars at all costs.

Standard experience. Two drinks. One appetizer. One entree. Margarita was fine. The spinach dip was hot and full of spinach. The chips were warmed. The fish and shrimp was hot and crispy. The fries were hot and cooked evenly. The service was good. No issues. No crowd.

Came only just to drink me a nice refreshing drink

I love the food and a drink is delicious. A very quiet place to enjoy. I come here two days a week.

We came late afternoon today for our lunch/dinner after the North Dallas Toy Show across the street. We were seated very quickly and it didn't seem overly busy. Sometimes when's it's busy it's too loud but today it was nice and quiet. We waited a good while before our waitress approached us for drinks, it was long enough that we had time to completely decide our meal. So when she took our drink order we told her we were ready to complete the order with our meal choices. I'm hoping she was just having a bad day but a bad attitude was pretty obvious. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and a raspberry lemonade, my husband ordered a raspberry tea and the chicken fried chicken. She brought our drinks and immediately walked away. I knew as soon as I looked at the raspberry lemonade I knew it wasn't right. It was just water and raspberry syrup and not even much of that at all. Our food was brought out quickly but not by our waitress so couldn't discuss the drink. I finally found the call sever button on the kiosk and she came after a few minutes. I explained the drink situation and she took it and brought me a water with lemon. Buffalo chicken wrap was ok but would have been amazing if it had been hot. The cheese was barely melted which just didn't blend the flavors well. So back to the drink issue, we go to pay and the lemonade that I didn't drink was still on the tab. We call the waitress back over and explain that the drink was still on our tab and could it please be removed. She leaves and comes back and grabs the kiosk. She did take it off. While paying the manager brings me a strawberry lemonade, apparently our server explained what happened to the manager when she was removing the drink from our tab. The manager didn't want me leaving until I knew she was apologetic and that this is what a lemonade should taste like, I took this to mean the manager made it a teaching situation which impressed my Husband and I. Wish it had been a better experience but we will give it another try!

Everyone gets to customize their meal exactly how they want. The menu is impressively large, so there's something for every age and taste. The menu continues to evolve, which is good. Although this last visit both my husband and I noticed the menu is becoming very similar to Cheesecake Factory. By that I mean, they are adding more pages, more loose menu pages with options and their menu items are going into realms that seem very off brand (raw ahi tuna plates, shwarma salad, bao buns, etc). Lazy Dog has always been associated with a diverse beer selection, a down home (almost) southern like food menu. A more elevated and sophisticated Cracker Barrell if you will. This detour from the 'norm' gave us both pause - could the food actually be good? While my hubby and kids stuck to their regular options (crispy deviled eggs, buffalo chicken bites, kids menu) I chose to try the Chili Crunch Ahi Tuna - sashimi grade seared rare tuna, furikake-seasoned rice, edamame, avocado, marinated cucumbers, pickled ginger, spicy garlic crunch, citrus soy dipping sauce and it was DELICIOUS!!! I enjoyed every bite of my meal and would absolutely order it again. I definitely think Lazy Dog is making a run for being competition to Cheesecake Factory when it comes to their menu. Their desserts however have a LOOOOONG way to go. The Campfire Cookies were awful!! Stale, cooked firm, every bite had so many white chips it was overwhelming, there was barely any chocolate, the drizzle soaked into the stale cookies and was tasteless. I have a hard time saying no to any cookie, but could easily say no to these every time. I will actually look forward to trying Lazy Dog again now that they have other healthier options to choose from.

We ordered the breakfast arepa, the eggs Benedict and an order of pancakes. The arepa dish was absolutely flavorless. The brisket was tender but had no flavor whatsoever. The arepa was too hard to cut into so I had to just pick it up with my hands. It came with breakfast potatoes that were fine. The eggs Benedict was not cooked right, at all. A poached egg should be soft & runny on the inside and as you can see from the picture, the eggs were overcooked. The pancakes were fluffy, dry and flavorless. It came with a side of whipped cream which saved them. The best thing about the meal was the blackberry- limeade drink, which is sad because unless the place is known for beverages, it should not be the star of the show. As a positive, our waitress was very nice. We were excited to try this place but as no surprise, will not return.

My family and I stopped in to kick off our vacation week, and I'm so glad we did. From the outside it felt a little upscale, but once inside, the atmosphere was welcoming still very beautiful and it could be a really nice place for a dinner. The owners were present, and our waitress was incredibly helpful and attentive. Now let's talk about the smoked salmon eggs Benedict--WOW. My husband and I are not usually eggs Benedict people, especially coming from the East Coast where we've struggled to find one we love. But this one completely changed our minds. The smoked salmon was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked--so tender and juicy. Every bite was spot on. It's something we would order again and again without hesitation. The buttermilk pancakes were light and fluffy with just the right touch of sweetness, and the ham and cheese omelette was hearty and delicious. Even our kids loved their meals (eggs and bacon), which is always a win. Overall, we all left happy and impressed. This place is definitely a must-visit!

After we were seated, I made the mistake of checking Yelp and immediately noticed several one-star reviews, most of them centered around service issues. We debated leaving but decided to give it a fair shot. I'd say the service landed right around average. It took a while for our food to arrive despite the restaurant not being particularly crowded, and our appetizer showed up at the same time as our entrees, which was a little disappointing. That said, the food ended up being a pleasant surprise. I ordered the Jambalaya, and while I wouldn't call it exceptional, it was well-seasoned and flavorful. For a sports bar-style restaurant, it far exceeded my expectations. My wife had the Ahi Tuna Salad. The ingredients were fresh and individually tasty, but the overall dish felt like it was missing something to really bring it together. The standout item of the night was the Broccoli Cheddar Bread Bowl. That was an absolute hit with the family and something I'd definitely recommend ordering. We also shared the Sampler Platter. The spinach dip was outstanding, easily one of the better spinach dips I've had. The wings were solid as well and rounded out the platter nicely. Overall, the food was better than expected and featured several real highlights. The service was average, and the atmosphere was fine but nothing particularly memorable. If you're looking for a place to watch a game and enjoy some surprisingly good food, BJ's is worth considering, just be prepared for service that may not always be the strongest part of the experience.
