Call Young for a tow! I was stranded with a smoking car in downtown at 530pm during traffic. Found Young on Yelp. He gave me a cheap estimate over the phone and picked me up within 30 min. I thought it would be best to tow my car home with me because I didn't know any car shops still open. He said he knew a shop that could take my car now. I needed a tow. I called GEICO Emergency Roadside Assistance. Geico had no tow truck affiliates available. I googled, found a tow truck service. But, 1st Google option had MANY bad yelp reviews. I found cheap towing. Cheap towing has good, inexpensive reviews. When I called, norman was very helpful and expedient. No long hour wait. Tow was pleasant. I insisted on giving Norman a tip. He politely declined. I said "I won't pay unless you take my tip!" He relented. My car was towed home. 5 days later when Neue Auto could do my repairs; Norman came back and towed me again to the repair shop Neue Auto. Cheap towing rates are EXTREMELY reasonable. I had a pretty crappy experience maybe because my tow was from Sand Island access road to maili YES west coast.... my husband was suppose meet this guy at around 10am... he was NO SHOW, than my husband decides to call me at 11:30am ( which is his lunch break ) to ask why didn't the guy show up... I called him and he told me " oh, no can pick up were too busy right now...... about 1-2pm..." then I told him call me before he goes. At about 12:40pm I was putting my daughter down for a nap and no I didn't have my phone on me. I missed his call and He called 3x I felt really bad, so I called him back at 1:05pm no answer, I called the driver back no answer. Finally at 1:11pm, the driver answered and he was PISST. Snapping at me.... I'm not too sure how you guys got NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE but I didn't get any of it. Yes i understand i didnt answer his phone BUT i was expecting the call after 1..... wouldn't even give these guys a star truthfully. My husband paid cash so I called the boss and informed him and all I heard from him was " MY DRIVER TRIED TO CALL YEEEEEEEWW!!" in a nasty, unprofessional way!! I don't know what everyone else is talking about but Cheap Towing refused to pick me up. I broke down on Kam Highway right before getting on the Pali, literally right before that intersection, about 4:00pm. I called my boyfriend who found Cheap Towing on yelp and called them, solely because of their great reviews. Within minutes they called me and asked where it was that I'd broken down exactly...then he said "Ooooh...yeeeeeah, you can't be on that road, yeah? You don't want to block traffic." Naw, really? I explained that I couldn't exactly help that since my car had literally just died in the middle of the far left lane. Long story short, he was saying a bunch of things about police and maybe I should call them, blah, blah, eventually saying, "Yeah I don't think I can get you." I asked, "So...you're telling me you can't tow my car?" The guy replied, "Yeah, I don't think I can send my driver there." Being totally standed in the middle of the freaking highway with irritated motorists honking at me, he was wasting my time at that point so I didn't bother to bargain with him any further and hung up to call another Two Truck company -- I won't say who but...they'll treat you like a "Very Important Person." -- they were super, SUPER helpful! ;) I mean, a bunch of other people have good experiences with them...but I barely even had an experience with the company due to the fact that he just didn't want to pick me up on the Pali. Our van broke down one sunny afternoon, and it was my job to call the tow truck while guy tried to fix the car. In the space of about an hour, I called about two dozen tow truck companies. I stopped calling after Cheap Towing. This guy is seriously the cheapest out of ANYBODY out there--by about half the price! I didn't expect the name to be so true. I suspected a marketing ploy. It took a while to get in contact with this towing company since the line was always busy. When I finally got an answer, the owner told me to text him my address, and a tow truck would show up in 30 minutes. I texted him my address, and kind of expected a reply. After waiting 15 minutes, I got kind of nervous so I called again and he confirmed the tow truck was on it's way. Sure enough, it showed up 30 minutes after the initial call. The guy driving the tow truck was very friendly and helpful. The tow went by quickly and without problems. He charged me $60, and I tipped him $10 for a total of $70. I would give them a 4.5 if I could since I didn't really receive a confirmation on my text, but I would hate to give them a 4 just because of that so I rounded it up to a 5. read more

Not sure what everyone is raving about on here. I was stuck at Walmart PC at 5:30 in the morning. Asked a friend to send me tow truck company numbers so I could find someone who could help me out. They opened at 6 so I called at 6:01. I explained that I was stuck and needed a tow. All he said was, sorry I'm busy today I can't get you. How can a tow truck company be busy the entire day when they just opened?!?!?! If you ask me, sounded like he just woke up and wasn't ready to start his day. Completely recommend this company! Fast, friendly and available! I locked my friends keys in her car and called around for a locksmith, it was already 11pm. Calling around I got a bunch of grouchy half awake phone reps that said they couldn't tell me the charge until the job was done. Some had a flat rate of $100!!! So we ended up calling Cheap Towing. They charge a flat rate and where very knowledgable and quick. They where there in just 15 mins & had the keys out in 2! Plus the guy who helped us was super nice. They came about 30 mins late but as soon as they got there Jason had the car hooked up in less then 5 minutes and we were on our way. I paid $90 to get a tow from Pearl Ridge to Honda Winward Auto Body Shop. This is Hands down the most affordable tow I've ever had. My car needed to get hooked up from the front and Jason helped me push my car back (up hill) to make that happen. I now have their number saved in my phone and will use them again. read more

Where do I start... My wheel cylinder went out in Nuuanu and I looked to Yelp to find a decent tow guy, since my friend was busy on a tow already. The dude was a little late, didn't speak great english, BUT he was a stud. It was INEXPENSIVE and he was a stand up guy. Talked a lot about himself and for some people that's not what they like, but he was just being himself. Really down to earth. He actually took my truck to Kaneohe THEN dropped me off in Kahalu'u!!! Say What?!! Service with a smile and didn't even try and charge me extra. I tried to give him more, but he wasn't having it. MUST call!!! read more

This really is a great towing company. Stand up people. Car broke down on the ala wai at 530 traffic when the bridge in Aiea broke down and closed H1. We called around for cheap towing cause we needed it from Waikiki to Millilani. He said it was 90 flat! What a deal! Took him an hour to get to Waikiki but I expect every tow company to take a good hour. Once he came the side logo said Saigon towing? But it was the same people we called. The earlier reviews were right about their English not being good. But who cares when u can get a cheap tow? Ill surely be calling then again if I break down. Thanks! read more

I see that there are some mixed reviews on here, so I just wanted to share my experience since it was excellent. The owner Young answered my call quickly, gave me a straightforward estimate which was way cheaper than others I had just gotten, arrived when he said he would, and performed the tow efficiently. The price was right so I used him again the next day and the service was even better. Young dropped my girlfriend off at her work on the way to the mechanic, and also waited for me at the mechanic for 15 minutes then offered me a ride back to my work. At the end of the day I try to do business with people I trust. Young is a solid dude who you can trust. I will always use him moving forward and would highly recommend you give him a shot if you need a tow. read more
