This will be the only Towing Company I will ever call from now on. My car suddenly lost it's ability to stop. No brakes at all. I was in a bind as I needed to be at work for an important engagement. I called 3 towing companies and no one could come. The owner of Rapid Towing, Taurus called me back immediately and said he could come in 5 minutes! 5 minutes!!! AMAZING! He was a professional, very courteous, and seemed like a trust worthy individual. He first looked under my car to confirm if it was front or rear wheel drive so he'd know which way to hook it up. He didn't just assume. He looked under my car to visually double check. I appreciated that and it gave me a sense of comfort knowing he was not making any assumptions that would cause my car further damage. I told him I was in a bind and would he be open to me paying him now and giving him the address to my mechanic and have him tow it there without me. I had already called my mechanic who was waiting for the car. He was okay with that so I paid him on the spot with my credit card which I immediately received confirmation in my email that the payment went through. Confirming legitimacy of his business which I liked. I trusted him to take my car to the shop without me, and left with a co-worker who came to get me. Taurus, immediately sent me a picture of my car at the shop when he arrived which must have been no more than 4 minutes later. This gave me the comfort and confirmation that it made it there safely. I like that he did this to close the loop on the service. His service is prompt, professional, courteous and he is nice person who is gracious and honest. He's a really good person. I tried to give him a 40% tip and he said it was too much and said he couldn't take it because it's too much. But I insisted he take it. I explained that I needed to be somewhere immediately and he dropped everything to come in 5 minutes to help me when others could not. I wanted him to know how much his efforts meant to me because I appreciated him for coming immediately and taking my car to the shop without me so I could go forward with my day without any further disruption. Ran into trouble east bound on H-1 and stalled just after the merge and right at the start of the Likelike cutoff, if you don't know, it's a dangerous spot because it's on an off ramp after a blind turn. I called my two usual guys I use for my company, but neither answered. I called Taurus(business owner) at 7:30 pm on Sunday and he was there in about 15 mins, way faster than I expected. Towed to Homerule near Alycia's Market and was way cheaper than I feared, like by at least half. Taurus was super personable and polite, giving me good, clear directions on what I needed to do. Told me what was going to happen before doing it and took time to answer my many, many questions as I was freaking out. Hopped in the can with Taurus and we had good conversation on the ride. Like I said, super personable and polite. When he heard we were going to Kaimuki he even offered us a ride as far as he was going in that direction. My EV completely died and wouldn't even roll in neutral. It was a little too close to the curb, so it was difficult to get it hooked up in the typical way. But Taurus was patient and diligent and was able to work his magic to get the vehicle clear and securely fastened and ready to go. The license plate on his truck says "IGETEM" and he definitely Got 'em. I originally contacted my roadside assistance program and that was a nightmare. After waiting 3 hours, I was informed the tow company they had contracted CANCELLED and I had to wait for them to get another service. SCREW THAT! Really great company to call when you're down on your luck and need a tow. I had a tire lock up in downtown Honolulu, during what seemed like rush hour. The first time I called the number in its website, immediately somebody answered the phone and asked if they can provide service to my car where the battery gets off when I tried to start in the morning.
