4/5 For some of you who might not know, CHAYAN is: * Chayan -- a UK / London-born tea brand * Origin: London, United Kingdom, originally known as Tastetea * Specialty: Modern-style Chinese tea, frappes, and "chappuccinos" topped with cream and nuts * The brand has also expanded internationally, including locations in Canada such as British Columbia. LOCATION & PARKING This CHAYAN is located inside Pacific Plaza on Colima Rd. The parking lot is shared with the other businesses in the plaza, and it's not very big, so parking can sometimes be a little limited. The shop is on the ground level, right next to the stairs that lead up to the second floor. ORDERING & ATMOSPHERE Once you walk into the store, there are two self-order kiosks on the left where you can place your own order. You can also walk straight to the counter and have one of the staff members help you. The staff members I interacted with were nice and friendly. Usually, there aren't too many customers inside, so the atmosphere tends to be pretty quiet and relaxing. PEACH OOLONG MILK TEA I've visited this place twice. The first time, I ordered the Peach Oolong Milk Tea with their chestnut boba--or whatever their specialty topping is called. Sorry, I forgot the exact name, but it's definitely not the regular black boba. The drink was pretty good. It wasn't overly sweet, and I liked how the peach flavor blended nicely with the tea. You could still taste the tea instead of the peach flavor completely overpowering it. DA HONG PAO MILK TEA The second time, I ordered the Da Hong Pao Milk Tea with the same chestnut topping. This one was decent as well. Nothing crazy or mind-blowing, but still an enjoyable milk tea. OVERALL Both times I came here, I had a good experience. I'm giving CHAYAN 4 stars because while none of the drinks really "wowed" me, they were still good enough for me to consider this place above average overall. Friendly staff Nice and quiet atmosphere Drinks aren't overly sweet Good tea flavor Easy ordering with kiosks or at the counter The drinks just need a little more of that "wow factor" for me to give this place a full 5 stars. Will definitely come back again and try some of their other drinks!
The staff was very fast and efficient. You can tell it's pretty authentic Chinese because everyone and the customers were speaking full Chinese. There's seating indoors with the ordering kiosks. Unfortunately, the tea flavor wasn't very strong and it was more milky. Not too sweet even at the Recommended levels so that's good. Black Tea Cold Brew: not strong enough and just tasted generic. Da-Hong-Pao Tea Frappe: very milky with a hint of a nutty black tea. The cream and crunchies on top were a nice addition. Osmanthus & Lychee Lemon Tea: very refreshing and sweeter than the other drinks. I'd definitely recommend it. With so many boba places in the area, especially with ChaHalo down the street, it might be difficult to succeed.
Matcha lovers, this one is worth the stop I visited Chayan not too long after they opened, and this was such a good find in Rowland Heights. First of all, the space itself is beautiful. The traditional Chinese-inspired aesthetic gives the shop such an elegant, calm atmosphere. It isn't overly flashy or trying too hard to be trendy--it just feels peaceful and thoughtfully put together. Definitely the kind of place where you can slow down and actually enjoy your tea. But let's talk about the reason I came here: the Matcha Green Tea Frappe. SO. GOOD. What immediately stood out to me was that this didn't taste like one of those drinks where the actual matcha gets completely buried underneath sugar. You can genuinely taste the matcha and the quality of the tea. It has that distinct matcha flavor while still being creamy and enjoyable. And the topping?! Instead of just throwing regular whipped cream on it, they top it with whipped matcha and roasted peanuts, which gives it this really interesting combination of creamy, earthy, nutty flavors. The peanuts add a little texture and complement the matcha surprisingly well. It tasted intentional rather than just sweet for the sake of being sweet. That's probably my biggest recommendation before coming here: if you're looking for an extremely sugary, dessert-style matcha, this may not be what you're looking for. This is much more about actually tasting the tea. If you want something loaded with sugar where the matcha disappears somewhere in the background... Starbucks is right there. But if you appreciate a more balanced drink where you can actually taste good-quality matcha, I absolutely recommend giving Chayan a try. Beautiful atmosphere, quality tea, unique flavors, and an overall really relaxing experience. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.
The Osmanthus and Lychee Lemon Tea was nice and refreshing after such a hot day in the sun. I couldn't really taste any of the lychee flavor, but I think I could sense a hint of the osmanthus under all the lemon. I kind of wish the seeds had been strained out of the drink because my first sip shot a seed right to the back of my throat. I also bit into another seed and it made my whole mouth bitter. I had to remember to lift my straw up to only drink from the top whenever I took another sip. I like that they are trying to be eco-friendly with their straws, but the paper straw sadly disintegrated in my drink and left paper on my tongue after a while. May I suggest a slightly more durable option like bamboo straws? The sign inside was a little too bright. All the seating faces the giant sign, so my eyes were tearing up from having it burn my retinas. Otherwise, I think the design is really nice.

Stopped by CHAYAN today, and the moment I walked up to the entrance, that rich, aromatic tea scent completely stopped me in my tracks! They even had free samples at the door. I took a sip of the "Fei Zi Xiao Lychee" and instantly couldn't stop smiling--it's a flawless blend of fresh lychee sweetness and crisp tea notes. It literally lives up to its name and makes you happy with every sip! What touched me the most was the cultural vibe. The walls are lined with exquisite framed displays detailing different tea bases--like Wuyi Da Hong Pao, Jin Jun Mei, Jasmine Snow, Yunnan Pu'er, Taiwan Dong Ding Oolong, and Osmanthus Tieguanyin--complete with real tea leaves packed into the bottom! Reading through all those cool tea facts while waiting for my order actually made the wait feel super meaningful. The two melon drinks I tried this time totally blew me away: Melon Milk Tea The ultimate combo of sweet melon and refreshing tea! It's unbelievably smooth and packed with natural melon aroma, but thanks to the tea base, it's not overly sweet at all. A total summer must-try gem! Melon Lemon Tea Freshly muddled lemon + sweet melon + roasted Oolong! The first sip hits you with bright citrus sweetness, followed by an explosion of fruity melon and deep Oolong notes. Acidic, sweet, and crisp--it's the ultimate heat-buster! If you love authentic, high-quality tea flavors, you can thank me later!
I enjoyed the drinks here. Chayan was open late and we came in late on a weekday night after dinner. The lot has plenty of spots in the late hours of the night. The location does kiosk ordering and there's about 3 tables inside if you want to enjoy your drinks there. The staff interaction is fairly minimal until it's time to pick up your drinks. They do offer a pitcher of samples to pour for yourself. I ordered the Matcha Coconut Milk Tea and my wife the Da-hong-pao Tea Lemon Tea. The drinks were done fast as we were the only ones at the time. As far the flavors, I was a fan of the Matcha Coconut Milk Tea. It was light and flavorful with balanced sweetness. It must of had a decent amount of caffeine because I was awake for a bit longer. Lol. My wife's lemon tea was also a good selection. Especially, if you don't want any matcha or latte drinks this was a great Tea option. The location is cool and they have info about each of their teas on the wall. Originating from China, this tea shop is known for their Chinese-style milk teas, fruit teas, and tea frappes, which have strong brewed-tea flavor profiles instead of overly sugary drinks. I really like the vibes from this shop. It feels like a modern Chinese tea lounge with seating rather than a grab-and-go boba shop. The store itself as well as the cups and packaging are aesthetically designed and visually appealing. I had the Black Tea Frappe, which tasted smooth, authentic, and lightly sweet. The whipped cream and crushed honey-roasted pecans on top were delicious when mixed into the tea. I also tried some of my husband's Osmanthus Milk Tea, which tasted creamy and had a light floral finish. Both drinks were very aromatic with the perfect balance of tea and milk. I would definitely recommend both of these drinks.
3.5 rounded to 4... I ordered online and it was ready for pickup pretty quick! The store was aesthetic and it seems like people order on the tablet. There's a good amount of seating and it's a good hangout spot. I got the lychee osmanthus milk tea and it was alright. Theres barely any tea flavor. It was more milky than anything. I got it less sweet and it was good enough for me. The aroma of lychee was there but I think it's just the lychee syrup. Overall maybe if I was in the area I might be down to try another drink but I have a feeling it might be too milky for me.
I was in the area and stopped at this shopping center for tea. There are several options, hot, cold, sweetness level, plus add- on toppings and Boba. I chose Peach Oolong tea. I added whipped cream and some crunchy chopped nuts on top. I realize it's been awhile since I've been here. I will make a note to go by in the coming week to see what the flavor of the month is. Had to check this spot out after hearing it was opened so my wife and I visited on a busy weekend afternoon but our drinks came out really quick. First impressions is that they have two self ordering kiosks. Already a HUGE plus. Space is pretty standard for a grab and go combo with hangout spot. Couple of tables inside and all pretty spacious. Very clean as well which is a nice plus. I love the subtle light green deco all around the shop, which gave of chill vibes overall. Parking - Free in a large outdoor parking lot. Some spots can be a bit tight so watch out for that. One thing I always look at when I visit new tea shops are their cups. Chayan has great cups, sturdy, cute yet simple design, and easy to hold. It's also pretty unique compared to other shops when you think about it. -- WHAT WE ORDERD -- -- Peach Oolong Milk Tea -- ($6.29) - This might be the perfect drink on a HOT DAY. It's refreshing, not too overpowering when it comes to the peach. Very standard and to the point. Very easy to sip and finish within seconds! -- Black Tea Frappe -- ($6.89) - Love this drink. It comes with an option to add Pecan nuts on top of your whipped cream thats above some fresh milk tea. Made the drink very creamy but also very savory to a sense. Refreshing and perfect on a hot day. It's also one of their most popular options, highly recommend. Overall, a wonderful tea spot addition to SoCal. Loved the vibes here and it's certainly one of my go to tea places now whenever I'm in Rowland. With similar vibes to Molly Tea when it comes to quality, I'm excited to visit again to try other drink options. They do seem to have BOGO promotions along with other promotions often as well which is nice.

Even though this plaza has like 10 different boba spots around Chayan, I think this place is pretty standout. The drinks were so good that my friend and I bought another one for the road... We got the Osmanthus and Lychee Milk tea, which had the right amount of peach flavor without overpowering the authentic and fresh oolong tea they had in this drink, and we also got the Black Tea Frappe, which was my favorite out of the two. The crunchy bits that come with this drink taste so good and are addicting LOL, and the flavor of the tea itself is very strong and enjoyable even after a hefty meal. The interior is very modern on the inside and pretty standard for a boba shop, but it was really fun to be able to sit and chat here. The drinks are made very fast, and ordering is through a kiosk system, which makes it very efficient and easier to order.
My first visit here was great. I had the jasmine milk tea and the genmaicha milk tea, and both were exactly what I want from a milk tea. The tea came through strong, the sweetness was spot on, and it just tasted well made. So I came back. Twice. And both times were a letdown. The tea flavor was much weaker and the drinks came out milky instead of tea-forward. Even the sweetness level they recommend didn't taste right anymore, which is frustrating when you've already dialed in your order. I also tried the osmanthus lemon iced tea and it came out bitter. Not a subtle bitterness either. That one I wouldn't order again. I don't think the recipe changed so much as the consistency slipped. When they get it right, it's genuinely one of the better milk teas around. I just wish I could count on it. Still rooting for this place. Hoping the next visit is like the first one.
Another overseas tea franchise enters the fray and it's an all out boba battle since so many of them are popping up nearby and within the same time span. I initially got try Chayan since my boyfriend brought back one their milk tea pouches, but I finally got a chance to visit recently when they were having their BOGO free for their Gardenia series, which is either their Gardenia milk tea or their Gardenia tea frappe. The pouched milk tea I got was just a standard milk tea. Reminds of something you can get at an HK cafe with the dense milky flavor of it. Pretty good. Sadly the same cannot be said for the Gardenia series drinks that I got during their BOGO. If I paid full price, I don't think I'd be very happy, but at the very least I got BOGO free. For both the Gardenia Milk Tea and the Gardenia Tea frappe, I got it with less ice and 0% sugar. I usually order at this level to get more of the actual tea, floral, etc. subtle notes to the drink that isn't just sugar, but that's what really made these drinks fall behind in the boba wars. Both of the drinks were really light in flavor and honestly tasted just like their standard creamer milk if it was brewed next to a gardenia flower. I think La Croix has a stronger flavor than the drinks that I got which was pretty disappointing. Maybe the tea wasn't steeped long enough due to the high volume of orders, who knows? The tea frappe had foam at the top which was pretty to look at, but this, along with the thin trio straws, are the newest trend in all of the tea franchises opening around and sadly Chayan didn't stand out. Chayan is a UK-based Chinese tea shop with its first U.S. location being in the Rowland Heights area. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a modern setup with a decent amount of seating options. For their menu, they have a unique selection of different milk tea and fruit teas to choose from. Wifey got the Da Hong Pao Cream Cloud and I opted to get the Osmanthus Lychee Lemon Tea. There was definitely a wait to get our drinks but it was well worth it! read more
The place had nice seating and parking was not as bad but I did go during the night on a weekday. This may vary depending busy hours as the plaza can get packed. As for drinks, we got the peach oolong milk tea and iced matcha latte. The peach oolong was not too sweet and you can taste the peach at the end. Matcha wasn't too bad but wasn't the best. The packaging is super cute though! I would try the other drinks with another visit! read more

PARKING: It's a huge parking lot! Plenty of parking! SEATING: A more casual seating situation! About 3 to 4 tables and a huge counter top for about 6 people to sit at. When I went there were tables available to sit at but I took my order to go. SERVICE: The kiosk was self serve. They were quite busy so I didn't have much to ask. The bobarista did ask if I was allergic to nuts because of the candied pecans. Other than that, she was nice and wished me a good day! FOOD: I got the Peach Oolong Frappe. I got it half sweet and it was perfect. The tea was fragrant and not too sweet. The whipped topping was yummy, but the real star of the shown was the candied pecans. I wish I had more of it! OVERALL: Good tea but it didn't stand out too much for me. Would come back to try the other drinks if I were in the area! read more
So, if you've seen some of my other reviews, y'all know I'm not the biggest milk tea fan. Not for any other reason, but that I usually prefer pure or fruit teas instead depending on my mood. However, since I had such a great experience with ChaHalo and was in the plaza already, I decided to give this place a try. I opted to order from Fantuan for pickup while I was waiting for my order (of delicious veggie rice at No. 1 Rice) and decided to stroll over slowly since the app said it would take 15 min. First, for a rainy day, the place was surprisingly busy. Service was super friendly, with staff asking me if I need any help since I entered and just stood to the side. When they heard I was picking up an order, they asked me for my number and let me know the order was ready to go and asked if I wanted a bag; something I super appreciated since sometimes I don't need a bag and feel bad when it's already bagged. Grabbed the drinks and headed home to try; here's what mummy and I decided; all teas were less sugar: Peach oolong milk tea, less ice - solid peach flavour, but more of a "kids drink" feel for us. Could see my nieces and nephews liking this one. Gardenia milk tea, cold (no ice) - very solid gardenia flavour, not overwhelming but definitely gardenia-y. Osmanthus milk, hot - our fave with a solid osmanthus flavour that was just right and not overwhelming. This one was 5 stars. Appreciate the 3 tube straw too! read more

Tried this spot recently and was pretty disappointed with the milk tea here. The shop itself has quite a few tables with seating which is nice. The plaza also has plentiful parking. Service was nice and offered us samples of the jasmine MT and osmanthus MT. I decided to get the jasmine MT since that's usually my go to for comparing new boba spots. Their regular sweetness is half sweet already so I would recommend just sticking with this if you usually get half sweet. Unfortunately, it was quite diluted and watered down and didn't have a very strong tea flavor. They also have a foam top that has pecans in it but they did not make the allergens clear and I'm allergic to pecans so hopefully they make this clear for other customers in case of any accidental ingestion! read more

I happened to be nearby and decided to give Chayan a try. I have seen some pictures on Instagram, and being me, I am always down to try new places for tea drinks. Inside is pretty spacious with 4-5 tables and looks very new. I went right when they opened, so it was empty. I got myself an Osmanthus Lychee Milk Tea. That is something I don't see too often elsewhere, and I think I made the right choice. My drink was so good. It was subtle, not too sweet, and you can still taste both lychee and osmanthus in the drink pleasantly. The drink came out really quick in an aesthetically pleasing cup and packaging. Though I live far, so I can't come too often, I will occasionally think about it and come when I am in the area. I am hoping they open another location in SGV so I can be a regular. read more
The peach oolong milk tea was so good! I got less sugar but it was still pretty sweet enough IMO. The peach & oolong flavors were very strong. It wasn't that busy so fast service. The price being under $7 for a speciality boba shop is a steal in this economy. Would be back! read more
Chayan is conveniently located in a Pacific Plaza, so there's plenty of free parking. Upon entering, staff greets you and you can place your order through the self-order kiosks on the left. They have a wide variety of drink options, but I ended up choosing the Guava Lemon Tea. When your order is ready, staff will call out your number. When I picked up my drink, I was asked if I wanted a bag. Inside the bag were two plastic cup holders to keep the drink from spilling -- such a thoughtful touch! The Guava Lemon Tea was sooo good: super refreshing, not artificial-tasting, and perfectly balanced between tangy and sweet. I highly recommend it. They also have a good amount of indoor seating if you plan to stay and enjoy your drink. read more

So the access and the location of this Tea house is convenient. Anybody heading West on Colima, just make a right, anybody heading East, u can make a U turn and come back to the shopping center. It has a lot of parking and the staff is really nice, HOWEVER... this Tea is nothing to write history about. I personally like to order my teas either with no sugar or 25% just so I can actually ENJOY the tea flavor, cause in my experience, sweteners usually kill the original flavor. The issue here is that not even with, or without the swetener, did I find this tea void of any type of flavor. Bland to say the least. I ordered I believe a Peach? Milk Tea that was watered down at best. I was never able to feel any type of Peach in any way shape or form. Even tho the place lacks nothing when it comes to deco and ambiance, sadly I doubt I will ever come back here when there are plenty of better options (and less expensive) in the area read more
Probably due to my love for London and milk tea drinks, I was really intrigued by UK-based Chayan when its first SoCal store arrived to Rowland Heights. Although we initially aimed to get some of their cream topped signature drinks, we settled on a matcha latte and classic lemon tea, both of which were light, high on flavor, but also not too sweet. I also really love the novelty of getting the "red envelope" cup, which is a beautiful cup in which you can tear off a character symbol on the surface to reveal whether you've won a prize. As of the time of this review, you can get this cup by following the @chayan_losangeles instagram account and in subsequent visits, show the store staff you are still following the account to keep getting the cup. Yes, we didn't visit the beautiful mahjong set they have displayed but we definitely would come back and try our luck again (and again). The staff was very friendly and the store also has this comforting shade of green that makes it incredibly pleasant to sit in. Chayan is definitely a welcome addition to Rowland Heights' crowded boba scene, but an addition I feel can last longer. read more
I'm going to agree with several Yelpers here and say---steer clear. There may be cute decor, but the milk tea here is terrible. Seriously the worst I've had. I bought the da hong pao cream top which is supposed to have an earthy roasted taste. My husband and I both disliked the drink upon first sip because it just tasted like a cup of hot milk with a slight aftertaste of tea. It's honestly the worst cup of milk tea I've ever had in remote memory. I don't need milk tea to be super sweet (I do prefer it strong or at least decently flavorful), but when it literally tastes like an overpriced cup of hot milk, I'm mad at myself for buying it. read more
This is a new boba place that popped up in the area, and they deliver! They have a small, curated menu but every drink is made with top quality. My go-to drink is their Osmanthus x Lychee Lemon Tree - it is so refreshing and tastes like a perfect type of lemonade (neither too sweet or sour, and reminds me of an incredible sunny summer/spring day). There are lemon/lime slices and seeds in the drink, which may deter some, but I appreciate because it shows that they're using freshly squeeze lemon juice into the drink. The lychee flavor isn't as prominent as other boba drinks I've had, but I don't mind it since the overall drink experience is super light and balanced. The drinks are priced reasonably - my drink (with less ice and standard sugar) was $6.29 at the time of writing this review. It was a regular size and enough for me. The parking is also plentiful, although be wary, it's easy to turn into the wrong parking lot because the entrances are so close to one another. The store is a long rectangular shape, with light pastel tea green accents and rattan lamp and chairs, and a big light-up sign with their logo. The ambiance parallels the drink, as it's light, clean, and airy. The use of lighting in the store is minimal and intentional! Great for working with solid wifi as well! The customer service is also great. You can either order from the two screens or at the counter, where they're attentive and helpful when recommending drinks based on your personal preference. read more
I heard this Chinese milk tea place has built a successful following in the UK and this is their first LA outpost. Ooh the tea is very smooth tasting in both the Osmanthus lychee milk tea and the Da Hong Pao tea frappe. Their regular sweetness level is perfect for me--subtlety sweet enough without being cloying. Creamy and refreshing. Loved, loved that their milk tea did not leave me with a racing heart due to high caffeine that other places do. Cute dining room with earnest staff who are eager to give you the correct drink order. read more
ORDER osmanthus & lychee milk tea (2.5/5) unfortunately, my drink was too milky with just a hint of lychee & osmathus. i definitely taste the potential, but wish the flavors came through a little more. ill definitely be back. we got the osmanthus milk tea and oolong milk tea!! the osmanthus was definitely the highlight and we 10/10 recommend. we're literally on an osmanthus high right now there are self order kiosks and they accept card only. the staff were friendly and efficient with orders even when crowded! there's seating for about 10-15 people and bathrooms for customers only. we also appreciated the slow sipper straws they have so you don't finish your drink fast like you do at other tea places. of note, there's no add-ons here like boba or jellies. read more
After a really good dinner with some good friends it was time to look for a boba spot to go enjoy some after dinner drinks before heading home. While at the restaurant I was asking the server where we should go nearby and he say by the time you are done there is a really good spot that is still open and he recommended here. . It was a great choice because it was so good that I after one drink I had to order another one just for the road. So this tea place is actually from London and it is the first location that is opening up here in California. I really like the high quality tea and it was really strong and drinks are not sweet or you can do it without sweetener. . I enjoy the milk tea that I ordered with a really nice settle floral and refreshing milk tea. They do not have toppings like to Boba or anything else and it is just straight up tea and milk. It was so good quality that I had to go and order another one after the drink. The second drink I order was straight tea and some lemon and lime slices inside which was really refreshing and perfect for a citrusy lover drink. . The Ambiance inside is simple and the service is great and quick on making the drinks. There is plenty of parking outside. We all got two drinks because we really enjoy the tea quality here. Such a nice addition to the Rowland boba scene!!! I LOOOOVE it when my milk teas taste like tea!!! Like yes yes, the tea is nice and strong and fragrant and it's just so satisfying. I've tried the Puer milk tea (my fav) but I do admit it's a very acquired taste so you have to make sure you like the Puer tea. It's super earthy and together with the milk blends into something soooo satisfying for me. Also who else is out here making Puer milk tea I haven't seen very many around !!! Major props!! The black tea frappe is good too! I forget the name of their specific blend of black tea but that was good too! The whipped cream on top is more like fresh cream (think of Korean fresh cream cakes with the fruit in them) and so it doesn't taste jarring like whipped cream from a can. They do sprinkle pecans so be careful if you have an allergy!! The peach oolong tea is super refreshing. Like VERY peach forward. Not that artificial peach syrup kind either!!! I'm more of a milk tea girlie but had to respect it. Peach oolong frappe uses the same peach oolong tea but adds milk and fresh cream on top!! Peach oolong and dairy didn't sound like a great combo to me ngl but ... it's kinda giving actually. Think peaches and cream? I was actually so surprised I had 0 expectations truly and was like huh that actually works?? Like it's actually good?? Also they have a red cup promo right now where if you follow them on Instagram your drink gets put in a special red cup where you can peel the tab and see if you win a mahjong set. I usually go to half&half but today I wanted to try something new. It is really good especially the Osmanthus Lychee latte. Highly recommend it!! The customer service was good, the place is really cute too. Good hangout spot. read more

They are still in their soft opening phase so they were running a BOGO promotion when I came which was such great timing. Luckily there wasn't a long line to order. We ordered the Matcha Green Tea Frappe ($6.99) less sugar and less ice, and the Osmanthus Lychee Milk Tea ($6.29). They only have one cup size option so the prices are a bit on the pricier end for their drinks. They have a few tables inside for seating and the interior was chic and modern. The drinks were ready in around 5 minutes or so and they add the whipped cream on the frappes right in front of you. The matcha frappe is one of their top sellers so I was looking forward to it but there wasn't any matcha taste and the consistency isn't really a frappe. It tasted like a typical green tea but with whipped cream. The whipped cream was also the normal whipped cream and is on the sweeter side so it made the milk tea sweeter once mixed together even with the sugar level adjusted. It was just alright 4/5 My friends got the Osmanthus Lychee Milk Tea ($6.29) and one of them thought the lychee didn't taste good with the milk tea but the other enjoyed it. I would say it is worth trying. 4/5 Would try coming back again if I am in the area but probably not going to make a trip here just for their drinks. read more
This place is similar to Molly Tea. The tea was good quality but I still prefer Molly if I had to choose. Husband got the matcha cloud and I got the peach frappe. Both were good and came out very fast. They may want to find another place for the trash can though, there was a weird smell while ordering at the kiosk. read more
My favorite tea spot in London made its way to the SGV! The first tea shop where I had tea with the whip cream and candied pecans as a topping. I got the black tea frappe. Creamy whip cream and love the sweet crunch the pecans add. Strong tea here but when mixed with the cream gives a good balance of tea and creaminess. Good service here once you arrive at the counter for your drink they start adding the foam and pecans to it. They are in soft opening right now and not much people on a Thursday afternoon. Calm and quiet ambiance with decent amount of seating. Plenty of parking in this plaza. Would definitely come back! read more
I'm so excited to have a new tea spot open up in Rowland Heights! Since they're still pretty newly opened, I hadn't heard much about them before visiting, so I was going into it blind. The shop is located in a plaza with a large parking lot, so finding a spot shouldn't be an issue. The interior of the shop is nice and clean. There are a few small tables and chairs available for those who want to sit, chat with friends, and enjoy their drinks. During my visit, it was pretty busy though, so most of the seating was taken and most people were just standing near the pick up counter. Even though there were about 20 orders ahead of mine, the staff worked quickly and efficiently and I didn't have to wait too long for my drink. I decided to try the Osmanthus Lychee Milk Tea, which is listed as one of their top drinks. It was really delicious! The lychee taste is subtle, not overpowering, and blends nicely with the floral osmanthus. I also liked how they don't make the drinks too sweet when I ordered at 50% sugar. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more from their menu, especially the standard Osmanthus Milk Tea and a few of the other drinks from their menu. read more
So excited that a new tea place has opened in Rowland Heights! I feel like the other modern style Chinese bubble tea places are located quite a distance away, so I had high hopes for Chayan. I'm very happy to say that it is just as good as I hoped it would be! I got the osmanthus milk tea (no ice, less sugar) w/ soya milk and I was pleasantly surprised with how fragrant the osmanthus tea was! It was also a perfect amount of sweetness, which is something I'm usually very picky about. I only hope that they will expand their alternative milk options if possible. Overall, I was very impressed by Chayan and I can't wait to come back to try more of their menu! read more
Heard a lot about this tea shop from the UK. Decided to order pick up via UberEats and it was done in less than 10 minutes! So fast!! I liked the Osmanthus Lychee Milk Tea! Came here on Christmas and there was only a few people in line. Its a order on a giant ipad vibe which I love, They have good tea options. I know they are known for the frappe but I just wanted a milk tea that day so I got a da hong pao milk tea. it had good tea flavor and well balanced with milk. They also give free pawpaw cup for your pets which is so cute! My dog ate it so fast and looked so happy the whole time. They also had free samples of the apple milk tea which I'm so glad because I did not like it when I tried! read more

Came here with a friend after dinner for a quick little pick-me-up! You can order on a kiosk so you don't really need to interact with the staff. The drinks do come out pretty fast though. There's plenty of seating inside too, so it's not a bad spot to get some work done. I got the jasmine cold brew just to try out their most basic flavor. The flavor was bold and not terribly sweet but otherwise unremarkable. read more

I unfortunately was disappointed at the milk tea here. Ordering is via a self service kiosk and drinks came out fast. I usually like my milk teas with strong tea flavors. However the two milk teas we got tasted like straight up whole milk plus a tiny bit of tea flavor. The ratio was not how I typically enjoy milk teas. The genmaicha milk tea tasted like whole milk. The osthmanthus milk teas was a bit better but still very milky. read more
