    Jasmine green milk tea
    Jeremy S.

I picked up a jasmine green milk tea with less sugar and ice. On Fantuan, there was a minuscule discount that made the cost $5.49. Unfortunately, the tea flavor was on the light side this time, so it was difficult to discern and savor it. It was still pleasant, but I wish the tea was stronger. My tea was ready in ten minutes, and the pickup process was easy. The boba shop was quiet and relaxed with a few people inside.

Chayan is one of many newly opened tea focused shops in Los Angeles that uses teapresso machines and apparently the brand originated from a tea shop named Tastea (now Chayan) in London. Besides United Kingdom, Chayan also has locations in Vancouver, Toronto, and Seattle. [Parking]: I had no issue finding an available parking spot within the plaza on Saturday at 9:30 PM. [Ordering & ambiance]: Customers place orders via kiosk machines and there are no outdoor tables. The shop offered free samples and it was Pre-Qingming Milk Tea on the day of our visit. [Menu]: The top recommended drinks on Yelp are Osmanthus Lychee Milk Tea and Black Tea Frappe; however, the shop offered one-day only BOGO (buy one get one free) deal for Pre-Qingming Longjing Milk Tea and Matcha Pre-Qingming Longjing Latte. Our party ultimately went with both drinks. Just like Chagee and Molly Tea, this shop offers mini straws that make drinkers to take small and slow sips. *** Pre-Qingming Longjing Milk Tea ($6.29) & Matcha Pre-Qingming Longjing Latte ($5.99): Both drinks weren't overly sweet at regular sweetness. The matcha drink wasn't too bad and not watery & it was a solid option; however, I personally preferred the milk tea as it had a really nice and smooth finish. *** I like Chayan a bit better than Chagee - slightly better quality and more drink options to choose from. A solid 4.5-star for the drinks, but round up to a 5-star due to the speedy service.

They had another BOGO for pre-Qing Ming Festival so we went and tried both drinks available for this promo. We came about an hour after they opened so they weren't busy and there was no line to order. -longjing milk tea ($6.29): creamy milk tea with tea flavor but couldn't tell it apart from other green milk teas. (4/5) -longjing matcha latte ($5.29): smallish cup and not very strong matcha flavor. Leans more on the milky side but wasn't quite creamy either. (3/5)

Some decent quality milk tea spot! Stopped by here after dinner and there was a little wait for a drink. Not too bad, but probably a good thing if you have too. Would come back if i'm in the area. Parking was also pretty simple and shared.

The peach oolong milk tea was so good! I got less sugar but it was still pretty sweet enough IMO. The peach & oolong flavors were very strong. It wasn't that busy so fast service. The price being under $7 for a speciality boba shop is a steal in this economy. Would be back!

Stopped by because we were curious about the "Best milk tea from the UK"! The store is very clean and organized. You can self-order on the two kiosks. Drinks were made very quickly. GENMAICHA FRAPPE: the frappe is just the whipped cream on top. The drink itself is not blended, but the tea is fragrant with notes of rice tea. Pecan bits on top are a fun crunch. PEACH OOLONG FRAPPE: real peach flavor which is unique from other places. My favorite drink in the rotation. DA HONG PAO MILK TEA: fragrant tea as well. I like how they have the small skinny straws to allow you to savor the drink slowly and get all the notes Saw on their wall that if you bring in your pet, you could get a little treat for them too!

Great reading drinks, service was amazing and they have me samples to try the tea before i committed. Quit relaxing sit down.

Drinks were made faster and they have kios system which makes it so much faster! I was a little disappointed with the drinks tho especially the lychee milk tea. This drink was really weird and tasted very chemically. Not sure if I'll come back for the same drink but maybe try something different

The drink was great but the frappe was around $7.50 which I think is kinda pricey. I engulfed the drink real quick. The drink was good and service was fast because I was the only one there. Buying 2 drinks already come with their cooler bag unlike other places with 4 drinks.

I can see why people like the drinks from here. The tea flavor was strong and aromatic. I got matcha cloud jasmine tea, and it was not too sweet with a punch of jasmine tea flavor. I really liked the pecan added on top of the matcha cloud, it was nutty and crunchy, a perfect pair with the tea. The interior was pretty standard for a new tea shop featuring 2 kiosks to order drinks. I'm looking forward to come back to try other drinks.

Chayan was exactly what I was looking forward to in Chinese-style premium tea. I was missing these drinks badly after my trip to China, and stores like Chayan are exactly what I was searching for! The teas are high quality and uniquely crafted with a rich taste in every sip. Not to mention, their cups and the interior of the store are so fancy! I got their Peach Oolong Tea Frappe. It had a pink whipped cream and sprinkled atop were honey-roasted pecans. It is one of their most popular drinks, and for a great reason. These teas are pricy, so I will always miss how cheap these teas were in China, but they literally brought it here in RH for you to enjoy. I really suggest Chayan if you have never had Chinese-style premium tea drinks before.

~ Good Tea ~ the da hong pao lemon tea is really yummy! it tastes slightly similar to taiwans lemon tea. fast service! has an ordering kiosk. lots of seating and parking.

We ordered the Osmanthus Lychee Lemon Tea and the Black Tea Frappe--both were absolutely delicious. The lemon tea was especially refreshing and PERFECT for these warm days we're having. Service was amazing too--everyone was so nice and welcoming. And major bonus points for being dog-friendly! They even give pawpaw cups for our doggos, which we absolutely loved. Such a cute touch so our dogs could enjoy the visit with us :) Definitely coming back!

This place is popular and for good reason. This tea shop is described as a cozy tea shop. I don't disagree! We were greeted upon arrival. The staff are attentive and friendly. They have two kiosks and a small waiting area. I ordered the Signature Red Glutinous Rice Fresh Milk Tea (medium, oat milk, black tea, regular ice, 50% sweetness). My husband ordered the Premium Matcha Boba Fresh Milk Tea (large, regular ice, 70% sweetness). Our drinks were ready in 10 minutes. I've never had red glutinous rice in my milk tea. This was surprisingly really good! It was chewy and sticky, but not enough where you would find it in your teeth. The tea was earthy and not too sweet. It was just *muah* a perfect drink! Oh, and apparently the rice symbolizes good luck. Overall, I would definitely come back to try their other drinks. We had a great experience. We can't wait to return.

It's a good spot to end the night after a satisfying meal. I will say, it gets super busy and you might wait a minute for your drink. But that's expected. Taro slush, 9.5/10: Probably the best taro drink I've ever had. Gotta go no toppings. Watch the carbs. Not too sweet. It's perfectly smooth and creamy. The natural sweetness and subtle earthiness from the taro really comes through. I was actually surprised. The ice is blended very finely, but it's also not chunky. I only allow myself one cheat meal a week, and while there are plenty of other boba spots I could go to, my kids specifically love your fries. There was an unusually long line around 8:30 PM, but we waited anyway. By the time we ordered, the kitchen was closed, so no fries, my kids were pretty disappointed. We ended up just getting boba drinks, but unfortunately the boba pearls were severely undercooked and extremely hard. It made the drinks unpleasant to drink, and I ended up throwing mine away because the boba is the whole point of milk tea. What made it more frustrating is that your phone line doesn't even work, so there's no way to call and let management know directly. The only way to bring attention to the issue is by leaving a review. I understand busy nights happen, but if the drinks can't be made consistently or the boba isn't ready, it's probably better not to serve them at all. At the very least let the customer know that the boba is not ready or no bobas available.

The matcha flavor was earthy and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The milk mochi was super soft and chewy, and the red bean added a nice traditional dessert touch. It's refreshing if you're into cold matcha desserts. My favorite though was the A6 Midnight Harmony. The combination of black sesame, taro paste, red bean, and milk mochi was rich, nutty, and comforting. The black sesame flavor really stood out and paired so well with the taro. I personally prefer the hot-style desserts here because the sesame flavors feel deeper and more fragrant warm. Overall, a fun spot for Asian-style desserts and mochi lovers. If you like black sesame and chewy textures, definitely give the Midnight Harmony a try.

It's toasty oolong tea with hints of honey & caramel. TASTY! With each sip, I felt my stress and worries fade away. I smiled happily. (Important: Bring Cash. With Card, there's a 35 cents additional charge for orders under $15.) I arrived at Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) on Friday (around 11:45AM). There's a competitive, busy parking lot. Fortunately, I quickly found parking. Staff is professional and polite. Staff gave good recommendations, and Staff answered all my questions. The drink took about five minutes. As mentioned, I ordered the Iron Goddess Milk Tea ($6.75 - Large - 100% Sweetness). The crisp tea taste is pronounced and brewed perfectly (not burnt). Its gentle sweetness soothes the throat, and the flavor of honey and caramel flutters about. It's DELICIOUS! On ambiance, Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) is aged, worn-down but well-maintained. The location is a little small; there's about four tables. Fortunately, it feels well-ventilated and airy. In addition, Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) also has PLENTY of utility. This spot has 34 electrical outlets!!! WOW! These outlets easily blend with the wall. There's also customer internet with password; customers must ask Staff for details. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, I found unexpected happiness at Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights). The tea is one of the best! If you love tea, this is a very easy recommendation. 4.9 out of 5!

I saw that reviews for popcorn chicken here were mostly good, so I wanted to try it out for myself…read more My order included a monk's blend ($6) with 30% sweetness and popcorn chicken ($9.65). The monk's blend was an iced Ceylon black tea with a touch of vanilla and grenadine. Although this drink is a signature menu item, I didn't really enjoy the citrusy and plum-like tartness. Most of the popcorn chicken pieces had a crispy texture, whereas others were a tad soggy. With medium spice, the chicken was very flavorful. The popcorn chicken came in an oyster pail that looked a little small, but the portion size still seemed adequate for the price. I ended up drinking the tea first before eating the chicken because the flavors did not leave a complementary aftertaste. Also, I got my tea first, but the staff forgot to give me the popcorn chicken even though they said that it's on the way. I had to follow up after waiting several minutes. One staff member was apologetic and explained that she thought my order was complete once I got my tea. The wait was unfortunately long because of the miscommunication.
