chaumont bakery was a pretty solid brunch spot, but the real star for me was easily the smoked salmon croissant sandwich. 10/10. it was filled with soft scrambled eggs, fresh smoked salmon, avocado and chive cream cheese, but honestly the croissant itself stole the show. so so sooo flaky, light, buttery, and just beautifully done. easily one of the best croissants i've had in a while. as for the other dishes, the chicken caesar wrap and chicken bowl were both just very average in comparison. the wrap wasn't your typical caesar wrap -- it used arugula, had a bit of spice, and didnt feel like a classic caesar. not bad, just not something i'd go out of my way to order again. same with the chicken bowl -- perfectly fine, but nothing especially memorable. i was too full to try the pastries this time, which honestly feels like a miss given how good the croissant was. but based on that alone, i'd definitely come back for the croissants. [[HIGHLIGHT]]the interior was also super cute -- very dainty, european-inspired, and just had that charming little cafe feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] service was pretty quick, though it's mostly self-serve.

We stopped here for a quick bite on Saturday, [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unlike other places on Beverly Blvd , there were plenty of table available, the service was fast and staff were friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also had outdoor sitting with plenty of open tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As for food, the avocado toast was very well made, loved the latte, but their croissants were more on the dry side.

Ordered over $100 in pasties but they would not give me a 2nd box to split the order into

The quality of Chaumont has really gone downhill and the service has been terrible the last 2 times I was there. Pastries did not seem fresh the last couple visits- not like they used to be. I ordered over $100 in pastries the last time I was there and they'd placed everything in one large box. When I asked for a smaller empty box so I could separate some pastries for a friend I was with to take home, the woman behind the counter making the coffee (not the one who took my order) rudely told me she didn't have any boxes and when I explained I wanted to split the order into 2 boxes, she said no. Mind you, they literally had a stack of smaller empty boxes on the counter...likely won't be returning any time soon.

Very tasty, but for $25 lunch bowl, the size of the salmon is pretty skinny. Used to have herbs : dill, mint, cilantro & parsley, but I don't see any of them.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cutest little coffee/pastry shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] AMAZING croissants, so far I've tried the plain, almond, and chocolate and all of them are great. My personal favorite so far is almond. I've heard they have other flavors as well, but they sell out of their baked goods early during the day so make sure to come early! Matcha latte is also super yummy. Service is great as well, the person at the register is always very kind. My new go to pastry/coffee shop! Highly recommend

It's great to know that this place is staying solid after all these years. It still is the best croissant in LA! They have added more choices of their pastries every time I come. Surprisingly great! Today, Sunal was very helpful. She's so accommodating and friendly and truly knows the goodies they're offering at the Vegan shop. Oh, fyi, they have vegan shop separate from the regular shop. Both owned by the same company.

They do run out of pastries so if you are looking for something specific, be sure to go at a good time. They do close earlier than other shops but they are one of the few that are also opened early at 6:30am for those that work at 7am. The space is beautiful, with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows making space look bright and airy. My favorite dessert has been their flourless chocolate small cake although shame on me for never trying their croissants! Also a great option for those who are vegan as they have Chaumont vegan next door as well.

This was such a neat little find in the heart of Beverly Hills, the restaurant takes me right back into the cafés in Paris, and they serve very authentic French baked goods. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe was perfection, visually the decor was beautiful, and the servers were very friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a large selection of unique French pastries that you wouldn't find normally in other bakeries. Highly recommend this little treasure, and I look forward to visiting again.

Very much enjoyed breakfast here, I ordered the breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese, which came with a small side salad, the mocha was pretty good as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small seating area inside and 1-2 tables outside, service was quick and efficient.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A cute lil cafe with a small patio and few indoor dining tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came at a very quiet time so were able to grab an inside table, away from the heat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My daughter had the pancakes with a buttery whipped cream and poached pear, delish. I had a folded mushroom omelette that came with a side arugula salad that was all dressed with so yummy, sprigs of dill. Very tasty and the size satisfying. Next time we'll need to try the pastries as they're very talked about. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall a nice and quiet escape from the 'crazy' of N Beverly Dr.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Chaumont is my favorite pre-work spot when I am in town. The coffee is consistently good. Pastries are delicious. The favorites include the almond croissant and a latte with almond milk. I just came back from Paris and the pastries are comparable. It is definitely on the pricier side ($5 for a plain croissant...they were $3 in Paris...) so one star docked down. The staff is very friendly and will bring your pastry and coffee to you if having your item there. I tend to enjoy my items there and put in an hour or so of work before heading to the office. It is quiet and calm despite the number of people getting their morning fuel.

Their mozzarella sandwich is a masterpiece with Fresh Ovoline Mozzarella, Avocado, Alfalfa Sprouts, Pickled Red Onion and a delicious Za'atar Spread. What makes it stand out as one of the best sandwiches in LA is the bread. They make their own focaccia several times a day and it is divine. Probably the only other place that can dare to match their creations is La Zucca at the Beverly Hills Cheese Store. Some of our other favorites is the tuna sandwich. Service is always on point and the sandwich travels well for consuming it at home. There isn't a ton of space to sit, but there is some counter style seating. Tip: Their menu is limited by choice. Check their Daily specials (Sandwich of the Day) for inspiration. They have 3 kids sandwiches (all are meat based). Tip: The biggest challenge is parking, sometimes metered parking is available. Otherwise, park for free in neighborhood streets away from Montana. It's a pleasant walk.

We liked it so much that we made a plan to come back next week. So we went to today and I ordered a BLT with turkey added, no problem. My girlfriend asked for the veggie wrap in a sandwich form and the guy at the register said "we don't do modifications". My girlfriend responded by saying they were able to do it last time so could you check. He looked fairly new and had trouble putting in my order in the register since I modified it by adding turkey. So he went to the back and just asked, do we do modifications? To which the guy in the back said no. She's vegan and that's all she can have off the menu so she ended up not getting anything and she was bummed since she really liked the sandwich they made last time. So we won't be coming back here and this place gets one star based on the customer service. It's a sandwich shop, if it's an extra charge to put a veggie wrap into a sandwich no problem. But the hard NO when it was made last time is PRETTY LAME for a sandwich shop not being able to make a veggie sandwich.

It was a bit too sweet for my taste, I like cranberries in my sandwiches but the dried figs made it really sweet so I had to take it out. The wrap was good, I enjoyed it with the fries which were perfectly made. I honestly wasn't thrilled with our lunch and without any drinks it cost us $75. Plus tip ...
