I stopped by on a Sunday morning for some delicious pastries. There are some that are weekend only, like the pistachio saffron croissant that I ordered.. I also ordered a fig and almond danish. The pistachio croissant had some paste in the middle and the outside was encrusted with roasted pistachios, so pistachio flavor was a parent, but the saffron didn't really shine. I did really enjoy the fig and almond danish which was was not overly sweet. The space is tight, and most seating is outside. There is a small lot, and free street parking in the neighborhood, just check the street cleaning signs. read more

Please when someone orders toast. Don't slice bread and put it in the bag and hand it to them with a terrible attitude To imagine this place is connected to maybe hands down the best coffee shop in Los Angeles And I'm not talking about this place. I'm talking about the real Clark street in Larchmont. I rather share a drink with a homeless person that trust what's coming out of the back kitchen at this point I get it, you work in Beverly Hills. So by proximity to wealth you feel the need to let everyone know your better then them.. but let's get this straight , everyone that knows about this place literally has the same sentiment. First impression- Cute cafe vibes Parking - tough to find parking; limited spaces in the lot and the street parking requires permits. Eventually found parking in the lot. Food - Pastries were all around 5$ each and truthfully they were very unique that I've never had anywhere else. I went with some people that have had cardamom buns in France and kouign-amanns in France. 1. Swedish Cardamom Bun - The cardamom taste is the strongest in this pastry. I've come to the conclusion that maybe I'm not the biggest cardamom fan; however the bread was soft and fresh so points for that 2. Swedish Cinnamon Bun- I enjoyed the combination of cinnamon with cardamom because the cardamom was a bit less of a focus and the texture was almost identical to cinnamon rolls which you can't not love. 3. Kouign- Amann- Essentially a caramelized flat/open croissant. Not a ginormous croissant fan but the idea and taste are there. Service - Great service. Initially we had ordered the pastries as a pick up order because these guys sell out FAST. We picked them up and ended up staying since we found parking. The employees offered us plates and napkins. Very attentive and thoughtful Overall- probably wouldn't come back for the pastries; however I'd come back for the service and a nice healthy lunch. The food looked great. Dainty cafe with many pastry and coffee options. I always order their Lox Bagel and I love having the option of ordering it "loaded", which means adding fresh sprouts, dill, and cucumber -- DO IT lol. The one downside to this visit was that the bagel was extremely tough.. I'm assuming it wasn't freshly baked that day. The knife was struggling to cut through it which was a little annoying but the overall taste of the lox bagel was great so whatever. I also ordered their hibiscus tea which wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be but still delicious nonetheless. Ordering process is at the counter and food gets brought out to your provided table number. My partner and I arrived on a slow Saturday afternoon and everything we ordered arrived within 10 minutes or less. The overall size of the cafe is very small.. only 4 tables inside and a few outside so plan ahead. Parking didn't seem like an issue but it is on the smaller side -- it may be difficult to find a spot if it's busy! read more

We order on DoorDash first of all, never been in person. They have the best breakfast burrito I've ever had with bacon, egg whites, avocado, and delicious potatoes. My partner gets the avocado toast and the portion is large and the bread looks delicious. read more

Five + stars for the pastries and bread, which are some of the best in LA! However, it's unfortunate that you're made to feel terrible by the guy at the register. He has no customer service skills whatsoever. I had two separate experiences and one was worse than the other. First time he charged me for 3 pastries when I had 2. Second time he seemed put off by the fact that we ordered one drink and two pastries, which we have a right to do (drink as much or little coffee as we would want). It makes you feel uncomfortable and thinking twice about getting those delicious treats. Probably better for our health! read more

Moving from East LA, I was thrilled when I heard Clark Street Bakery was opening in Beverly Hills--finally, a neighborhood spot with serious pastry game. I'm so so excited that this cafe opened up!!! There is used to be tarte tartin here and I was sooo sad when they closed. But now this brand new cafe opened! Ambient is nice and stuff there is very nice too. So far I only got their bread/pastries and coffee. Their regular drip coffee is so much better than Starbucks. I tried their olive focaccia and it was really good! And the other pastry that is swirly raisin one lol forgot the name which was very good too. My first time visiting this cafe/restaurant was a wonderful experience. My son and I were welcomed and the staff was very warm and kind and offered recommendations after I asked. I ordered the Asian chicken salad and cold brew and both were great and arrived very quickly. The salad was a decent size even shareable. It was very fresh and the ginger dressing had a little kick to it which I really liked and a lot of chicken. Everything was clean and everything looked amazing! Really really upset that I have to write this review because I have LOVED coming here- so much so, that I ran out of bread yesterday and picked up my son from school and darted down there in LA traffic to get a loaf. I got there a little after 3:30 but the door was open - the only indication I had that they were closed/or closing was that the girl at the counter was cleaning up the croissants from the display. I said are you closed- and she said yes. I said can i just grab this last sourdough bread? She said yes. Then she tells me because it is past 330, it is full price again (because at the end of the day its all half off) which is soo so arbitrary because the last loaf of bread, which has been sitting out all day should in fact be priced up at the last minute? so dumb. I said ok without blinking because I drove down there to get this bread. I pay and ask if she can slice it and she says no after we've closed we can't slice it- why not? has the machine clocked out for the day? Just so mean spirited - if you're going to sell me a product, give me the proper service- just all in all very disappointing because I find myself popping in here often - especially to get their croissants and sourdough. A gentlemen came in promoting the business and he gave out these delicious cookies to sample (chocalate chip and oatmeal raisin) he asked to go check them out, give them a chance since they had just opened their business.
