I usually come here for bread. It's either here or a place on Larchmont. I don't know which one is better. They're both good in their own ways. But the last time I was here, I was stuck on a work call so I gave my friend my card and had him order. He picked up a cinnamon roll. If you've never seen the cinnamon roll here before, it is massive. I've looked at it on many occasions but always decided against it. But he got it and then I tried some and was absolutely blown away by how good it is. My friend used to manage restaurants back in the day, so he's pretty familiar with food. He said this was the perfect cinnamon roll. Do I think it's perfect? I don't know. I haven't had a better cinnamon roll so probably. But then by calling it perfect, it closes the door for me to ever find one that is better. I think my friend is around 50, so he's lived out his food adventures, so I think him calling this the perfect cinnamon roll is appropriate for his food journey. But I still have hopes to one day find better. Anyway I got another cinnamon roll here today. It's still as amazing as it was last time and it's fun to get so much of the spread that goes onto the cinnamon roll on the side. Absolutely love this thing but I might need to stay away for the long term because sweets = weight gain haha. But we'll see if I can stick to just buying bread here... Oh I gotta ginger cookie here before and it was really good too. Everyone at the counter is nice and attentive but I've never actually dined in here, so I'm not too sure about the wait staff. The ambiance is nice here too with a little patio outside and a pretty decent sized eating area.

First time here and everything looked amazing. I tried the pastrami sandwich on their homemade sourdough--so good. The orange juice was fresh and perfectly balanced, not too sweet or sour. I loved the chai latte too, smooth and not overly sweet. Highly recommend the Wagyu pastry and cookies--they're not greasy or too buttery, just right. Pira was very kind and patient while I took my time deciding, and even offered to slice my loaf. Great service and nice interior as well. I'll definitely be back soon!

Another great visit! My regular stop for breakfast when I have an appointment close by. I order the Big Breakfast and it is beyond filling! Their baked goods are fresh and I also puck up baked goodies and bread to take home. They make great Lattes! Chai Tea Latte here us one of the best around! Service is always excellent! See you next month!

One of the best bakeries in town for sure. Came with a friend for breakfast on a weekday and there was no wait for a table. We dined in, plus got a bunch of items to go. I tried: + Shakshuka + Cold brew + Oat Poppy Cookie + Kouign amann + Peach Morning Bun + Cinnamon roll + Apple Millet Cake + Avocado toast with over easy egg + Chocolate chip cookie The oat poppy cookie is a sleeper hit - one of the best and chewiest cookies ever. Kouign amann, avocado toast and chocolate chip cookie were my other favorites. Cinnamon roll is comically large and was a huge hit in the meeting I brought it to later. Apple Millet Cake and cold brew were also great. Shakshuka was the only miss - just kind of runny and off - it paled in comparison to the avo toast. The guy who helped us out at the register was super friendly!

Ok been here twice now and can say I am a fan. They are currently re-doing the outdoor dining area, it didn't affect my experience at all. It will be nice to have that option once finished. Inside is clean and fresh, nice big booths. Menu covers all the sandwich and salad greats- tuna, blt, caesar salad, just a few. Their bread is amazing. Do note however if you get something on a baguette, make sure you have solid strong chompers- the homemade sourdough is one sturdy loaf! I had the blt this time and it was sublime! Lightly toasted sliced sourdough. mayo, juicy tomato, top-notch crispy bacon, and lettuce in perfect ratios created a stellar sammie. BLTs are simple but hard to master. Lodge got it right with top quality components and that delicious sourdough. Companion is crazy for the vegan Caesar and I have to agree- it is top-notch. The croutons are so yum and the dressing is perfect- tart with a citrus punch. I washed it down with a mint lemonade and I have to say that was on-point too. Got a loaf to go, too. Why not? Love this place!

I just experienced what can only be described as a life-altering berry scone. Flaky. Buttery. Perfectly sweet. I'm not saying it changed me... but I'm not not saying that. And if that alone doesn't earn this bakery your loyalty -- they slice their own sourdough. Yes. They will cut it for you!!! And don't get me started on the cinnamon roll...

A good spot for pastries and good coffee. Order the shakshuka, some flat whites and pastries. Friendly staff and helpful servers. Not the most comfortable booths, but at least there is seating.

We went on a Saturday morning and didn't have an issue finding parking. There were plenty of spots available right out front. I had the breakfast sandwich and coffee while my partner had the chocolate cake and a croissant. I thought the portions were generous and was surprised at the size of the breakfast sandwich, it was a large sandwich. Everything was good! The staff were friendly and personable and checked in with us to make sure everything was OK. It being a new restaurant, it has a new and clean vibe to it.

I stopped at Lodge and had the best experience ! Not only was the croissant perfect and didn't upset our tummies because it was perfectly soured BUT the service was great! They were kind and helpful and went above and beyond the call of duty to see that we were pleased. And then the best thing happened, an employee named Jess came to me personally to make sure we were having a great experience , she had been swamped and she wanted to be sure that she wasn't short or neglectful in the rush of lunch. I thought that was so amazing and 'big' of her to do so. Lodge you are very lucky to have Jess and the gang to hold it down for you in BH! I can'twait to return!! Oh! And the ambiance was the nicest and cleanest of ALL Lodge Breads! Love, A Lodge Stan

Nice breakfast spot with great coffee and pastries . There is street parking along Gregory in the residential area and also metered parking around . You order at the counter and pay then find open seating where the food is served to you . They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating . I ordered the shakshuka which comes with a side of delicious sourdough bread and I also got chopped salad . You can choose a protein add on for the salad ( tuna, avocado or turkey ) . Food was delicious and I would definitely come back .

Dear Yelp Community, I visited this location (and company) for the first time during January. Great! I enjoyed the cardamom knot. Good food, good ambiance, good service. Well wishes. Sincerely, Anna

I got the caprese, which was the fan favorite. The monaco (tuna sandwich), which was spicy and tasty. I also got the fiorelli which didn't seem like as much of a crowd pleaser but was still decent. Myself and some others were not a fan of the lemon preserve but with those removed the sandwiches were great.

I preferred my sandwich because I loved the crunch from the pistachios and the sweetness that came from the jam. It was a good size - I only ate about half and saved the rest for later. I originally thought that the amount of guanciale was lacking but it was still an overall well balanced sandwich so I didn't mind while eating. I enjoyed the mushrooms that came in the Colucci but wanted more of the eggplant flavor to come through. For both, I could tell the quality of the ingredients itself and the freshness of the bread - which is KEY! I also got a nutella canelé (which I've never tried) and that was the perfect sweet treat to end off my meal. DEF RECOMMEND! Before you even come in, you can smell the focaccia baking. I came here on a Saturday around 11am and there was no line - it took about 10 minutes to get my sandwiches and there was ample seating inside and out. Street parking was fine - metered and non metered spots all around. Would come again if i'm in the area!!

The restaurant is billed as French-Vietnamese and previously offered pho and related fare but did not have these options on our visit. Our family came on a Saturday evening after an afternoon in the mall. I got the Ahi Tuna burger ($18), a substantial slab of Ahi Tuna steak on a bun with a wasabi mayo and paired with perfectly crispy, well salted frites ($5). We also got the French lobster roll ($26) a decent, but not groundbreaking, sandwich with a spicy sauce. One of our children got the tomato soup ($10) which was phenomenal - creamy and tomatoey - and paired well with grilled cheese. The cafe was clean and positioned with a great view; service was good too, with the waitress making suggestions and accommodating our children's special requests. Prices, as listed above, were excellent for the quality and quantity of food provided in an otherwise quite expensive area. FOOD Bubble Waffle with Pistachio Gelato (5.5/5): Omg! I didn't know they have egg waffle here as well. It's a classic Hong Kong street food that I grew up with, you don't really see it around. The egg waffle is tasty, it doesn't taste bland and not overly seasoned (it has the egg custard-y taste, not too sweet), and it has a light crisp outside. I had a gelato to pair with it. The pistachio flavor is yummy, it has chopped pistachio nuts inside so the texture is rich. If you have a sweet tooth, pair it with a scoop of gelato, they compliment each other well. *finish the gelato first so it doesn't make the egg waffle loose it's crisp Pastrami Brisket Sandwich (5/5): They recommended me the Pastrami Brisket Sandwich and the prosciutto one, I haven't had lunch so I went with the pastrami- it was good. The bread is pretty soft and it's decently portioned, you could share the sandwich. It's a simple sandwich that's healthy and flavourful, you don't feel heavy after eating it. I like that it's not messy to eat (not overly saucey)! They hold the fillings with the little wooden sticks.
