We came to Chase recently for the first time for when the Dodgers were in town and it felt like a Dodgers home game lol. Where are all the DBacks fans? In terms of the stadium itself, this is now my 4th stadium I've been to and I would have to put it 2nd on the list. Petco so far rules, with Dodger and Angel stadium right behind. Since we were here on a 100+ degree weekend, the dome was closed. We ended up staying close by at one of the downtown hotels so we just walked to the stadium and that's one of the good things about Chase. You do have some options around the neighborhood since there's some nice bars and restaurants to go to within walking distance. The food here was also pretty good for ballpark food. I've been to a bunch of Dodgers game lately and Dodger Dogs are the most horrendous things you can eat now. Chase food is a step up. There's a Sandwich cart on the field level that serves some great beef dip sandwiches. The pizza is also good and even the value hot dogs for $2 bucks taste like heaven compared to a Dodger Dog. read more

Wow! This place is 25 years old but it looks and feels brand new! I've been to a few ball parks and this is one of the best in my opinion. Let's start with getting to and in this park. We bought parking passes but there were parking options besides these. Their parking garage is right across the street and an easy 5 minute walk to the inside of the park. Maybe I was walking fast. Once inside the park I felt the perfect temperature. This is kind of of unreal really. The announcement just now was that they might open the roof depending on the temperature. I find the option to do this fascinating and I can't wait to see it. Let's talk food. First is the "value menu". 2 dollar hot dogs, cokes, popcorn. Not giant but better than any pro sports venue I have EVER been to. I've had $2 dogs but only on Tuesday nights way back. This is every day! DRAFT BEER $4! I said that loud enough for my Bay Area friends to hear and then be sick. Getting to the seat was phenomenally easy compared to say Oracle Park in SF. There, you ramp up slowly, seems to go on 4 ever to get to the third deck. Here, we escalated automatic style and elevator. No stairs unless you like them. Once in the seat I immediately noticed the angle at which the seats wear anchored. At a slight angle so you don't have to twist your spine to get a straight look at the action. Smart person at work there! The first inning has started and I am loving this park. Yeah, I don't know what it's like before the pandemic but it is ultra cool right now. NO STUBHUB, NO STUBHUB, NO STUBHUB..THIEVES Do not, I repeat do not use Stubhub. They took an extra 150 out of our bank account. I was trying to sell my tickets and a guy wanted them. I sent the tickets but he never accepted or paid for them. I even wrote him asking if he wanted them. No response so I cancelled the transaction. Stubhub is trying to say that I was not in contact with him. WTHeck. Then one person will tell you absolutely not you do not owe. Another says yes you do. To call this park nondescript would be a complement. Not sure why they put stairs in the top deck, from where I'm sitting it looks like a ladder would have been better. Rude staff, downright hostile. They should hang a banner that says Fans Tolerated but not welcome. The usher behind Homeplate was nice-that it for positives. Park was ok. A bit beaten up in the bleachers. Gonzo grill served old hot dog with soggy smashed bun. The dog was wrinkled and over all disgusting. I hate the Dodgers but never had a disgusting Dodger dog when watching the Dbacks play them there. The $8 French fries were essentially 7 waffle fries that were cold. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! We have been baseball fans since a young age and were excited when we had the chance to finally visit a baseball stadium we have not been to before. We paid the $7 to take the stadium tour and it was worth it every penny of the way. The tour begins at the main entrance of the stadium. Here you learn how well planned and thought out the stadium really was, they included a bunch of Arizona and Baseball history into it. Upon entering the stadium you do get a weird vibe from being indoors, its a total mind game but as you get used it, it becomes pretty cool. We were able to tour all the levels of the stadium, the press box and even the interview room. Mike our tour guide did a great job of explaining all the history of the D-backs and their stadium. Looks nice from the outside, but it feels like a giant airplane hanger on the inside. In the summer, when the roof is closed, the temperature is kept between 78-80°. When the temp outside it clocking in above 100°, I guess that's a bit of a reprieve. Old-school out of town scoreboard Can walk fully around the inside of stadium, which is nice, but there's not much to see. After 16 years of coming to ball games. First when Dbacks won the World Series and Phoenix went crazy for winning. 16 years ago was the first time I took my now 16yr old son to his first game at about 6 months old. Since than we've enjoyed games days. Now 16yrs later and have our fourth child and she dying to go to her first game. But not now. My wife shops at Fry's and she buy alot of foods promoting Dback Rewards and here are some pics. But couple weeks ago I tried to go purchase TICKETS for FATHER'S DAY game this weekend . So I went to Chase Ticket offices to redeemed my children's Kids Club Tickets and purchase my ticket as well and was told they don't do the Kids Club Tickets and that I could buy with Dbacks gift cards my wife redeemed for me. To purchase tickets. But as you can see in pictures in the first sentence, This can be redeemed to purchase Arizona Diamondbacks Tickets..... and than the ticket office was giving me the third degree about where I got my gift cards wanted to know who bought the gift cards and what email was associated with the gift cards. Basically trying to say they were stolen and shit like that. This really pissed me off that they would accusing me and or trying to make it seen like they are stolen so I walked away. Thus is not right 16 going on 17 yrs supporting the Dbacks and this is how you treat guests. To top it off this would be the last year my oldest sons last year to be in the Dbacks Kids Club. Sincerely REALLY Disappointed with Dbacks. About this and know we're not able to be at Father's Day Game this would have made 15yrs celebrating Father's Day at Dbacks game. What a great stadium to visit. I was going through Phoenix during my roadtrip and I did not have any plans while I was there. I saw a billboard for something baseball related and had a light bulb moment. I checked to see if they were having any home games while I was there and I was in luck. I bought some nosebleed section tickets and decided to make a night of it. I took an uber to Chase Field. They are very strict about drop off points, so the Uber person dropped me off about 2 blocks away. There were tons of people going in and I waited in a short line and got in. Growing up as a Dodger fan, I have been to Dodger stadium numerous times. But, even I had to admit that Chase Field was so nice and so clean. Their restrooms were always clean and the stadium itself seems well maintained. Even though I had tickets in the nosebleed sections, I have to say my view was still great. As for the food option, there was a lot of food options to choose from. I had a pizza and it was OK, nothing special. I also had a kettle corn as a snack. It was a pretty good sized bag and I took it back with me and ate it for the rest of my road trip. I also want to say that all the employees seemed super nice and helpful. After the game, there seemed to a cluster trying to get out, so I went across the street to the restaurant (I forgot what it was called), had a beer and waited for the crowd to disperse. My old man and I came here to see a game a few years ago. While this isn't the most beautiful stadium it is practical for the Arizona heat. The staff were all nice and there is even a pool in right-center field. I'm a big guy who takes up a lot of space, so the fans might confuse me for an orca in there! read more

While in Phoenix for a couple days we decided to catch a baseball game. The Cubs were in town so we bought some tickets and headed to the ballpark. Didn't take long to get through security. The stadium is enclosed which is nice because i was concerned with before I arrived. I probably should have know that, but I didn't. When we got to our seats, right field about 20 rows up, I looked around and I gotta say im not sure there is a bad seat in the house. The temperature was a little warm in my opinion, but I'm also from St. Louis, so if you are used to the 105 degrees outside, 76 to 78 degrees is probably perfect for you. It wasn't bad, but not quite what they kept the Dome in STL. The only other negative is that the home crowd was drowned out by the cubs fans which is a little sad for a home game. They for sure need some more support for the home team. However, great experience overall and glad I got to attend. read more

A GREAT ballpark experience...we went during the Yankees home stand here so there was about 40000 people there...my GUESS is parking prices were inflated because of it...we paid 25$ to park next to Chase Field...but there were 15$ lots around if ya wanted to make a day downtown...or at least dinner...we got there for BP...no jerk security checking tickets and kicking kids out so that was nice...no big brother...the park is massive and stunning...mascot players walking around pregame was fun for the kids...food was solid...foot long hot dogs at the Chase food booth...they give you 25% off or so when you use a Chase card so DO THAT FOR SURE!!! No issue getting out after the game...just be patient with 40k people...also DBacks have great super fans that heckled players and made a show of it...great family fun for sure! Great team that embraces the Latin and sweet community...they know who they are and that makes it all the more fun! read more

I like this venue! As a disclaimer, I was invited to see a game at the Legends Suite and also received a free parking pass to the Chase Field garage (Normally $20, cash only). I got here about 40 minutes before the start of the game and the garage was already full except for the top uncovered levels so I'd get here at least a good hour before a popular game if you want lower level parking. Everyone here that I talked to was very polite and courteous. Even the people in the garage with flags to direct us where to park said "Enjoy the game" to me as I drove by. Getting to the suite took quite a bit of walking! From the garage and skyway you basically have to walk, and walk, and walk some more to the very end of the hall, take the elevator up and go through the doors to our very large spacious suite. The views were really quite nice and there are also some TVs in the suite to see closer views of the game. The suite came with the Legends catering package. It was a pretty nice spread of hotdogs, buns, chili, baked beans, mac and cheese, with various condiments. Everything tasted great together, and I especially loved the mac and cheese which was super buttery and rich. There was also a drink station with ice tea, lemonade and water. I feel like I made myself a liter of Arnold Palmers here since both ice tea and lemonade were pretty good! Service in the suite was impeccable. The gentleman here in charge of clearing our plates was on top of things. It can get really cold in the suite though. I was wearing a T shirt and jeans with close toed shoes and my feet were starting to get numb from the cold breezy wind. I was also starting to shiver a bit! As far a baseball fields go this one is pretty organized and easy to navigate. Easy and affordable parking lots and structures surround Chase Field and they allow you to bring in your own water and snacks, although we always end up gorging on field foods it's nice to know you can bring your own. Chase Field is home to the Diamondbacks (I just can't bring myself to call them the D-backs...so awful) as well as other events. My first time here was to a Kenny Chesney concert and I had a blast in spite of being up in the nosebleeds. Second time here was for a baseball game and I had an equally great time. If you are worried about sitting outside in the scorching Summer heat then never fear because Chase Field has a retractable roof. Although it was 100+ degrees we were nice and cool in the air conditioned field. When I went to the concert one year it was late May and in the evening so having it open was fine that night and nice as well. As far as features go, Chase Field was the first MLB field with a pool and a hot tub. We got a heads up about this from one of the food vendors and had to go see for ourselves. It was very cool to see. We walked around and hung out in the outfield for a while and my boyfriend even caught a fly ball during batting practice! As far as food goes, at ballparks I usually pick up the standard beer and hot dog combination and that suits me just fine. This time I was in a mood for sweets when I spotted a milkshake that could have possibly parted the heavens. The "Celebration" milkshake from the Taste of Chase is nothing short of incredible. A birthday cake flavored milkshake topped with a cupcake, sprinkles and a cherry. When I started walking I got so many longing looks from other people that I had to make my boyfriend carry it since I was getting uncomfortable from all the goo goo eyes at the milkshake. Overall, a pretty nice ballpark. Do yourself a favor and get the milkshake since this is the most memorable thing you will experience! read more

Oh Chase Field! I have so many great fun memories coming here! Parking can be a mess and prices can range from $10 to some that I've seen even go up to $30. There are private lots around though that do their own thing and charge a whole different price. They have plenty of security around and they do check your bags when coming into the building. The building is a gigantic circle with I believe has three different floors. They have plenty of suites, vip clubs, the petsmart patio, the dbacks museum, gift shops, a kids club, the pool, finally a Dutch bros, and so much more! Food is expensive but what do you expect. I almost fainted when I saw that a burger with fries and a drink was $22.... umm. Hey but they do have a value menu! The dog days of summer is pretty neat and you can bring your four legged friend or friends to a game! (Check their website for dates) They are always giving away something and on some games they even give away some pretty cool items when you walk thru the gates!! (Bobbleheads, free polar pop drinks, shirts, etc) The view is great no matter where you sit and the games are always entertaining. There is a huge screen as well that's shows you stats and scores! My dad was just complaining that there is no baseball. We have a father/daughter tradition that has been put on hold. UGH. We try to go to a game during the 1st week of every new season, with the strike, who knows when that might happen? How could you not like Chase? Swimming pool, and I really like that it has a retractable roof, and that the roof is usually closed for HOT summer games, keeping the stadium nice and cool.   Last time I went I bought tickets last minute on StubHub and was able to score row 1 on the 1st base side, great deal btw!   You will find that the stadium is not only modern, but nice and clean and the food prices are reasonable. Overall it was fun night at the ballpark. I had a great time with my dad and my girlfriend sitting front row, and it was a plus the Diamondbacks won the game! GO DBACKS!!! read more

It's hailed as one of the most affordable baseball experiences in the MLB and I used to agree but this season we noticed the alcohol prices are through the roof. What used to cost about $9-$11 for a tall can of beer is now $15-$16. The only saving grace was that you can get value drafts for about $5. The value drafts are Coors light only. Can't complain about our seats at all though. We have come to love the bleacher section because we can usually find super cheap tickets in the first or second row. Had quite a few balls come our way and it was an overall good experience. Note for the ladies.... Get yourself a clear 12"x12" bag. Otherwise they only let you bring a VERY small clutch, mostly the size of a wallet. read more

Chase Field is my absolute favorite and is always a great time. From the retractable roof on balmy game days to the pool adjacent to the outfield, there are so many great options here to enjoy Phoenix's amazing weather. There's even a Mountainside Fitness on site where you can work out and watch the D-Backs practice! The location is also amazing and is easy to Uber to from any part of Phoenix. Chase field is also great because there are tons of food and beverage options, including options for those with dietary restrictions such as gluten free, vegan, etc. For example, the Audi Quattro lounge has White Claw tall cans, and TGI Friday's has the Beyond Burger. As a gluten free vegan I usually have a hard time finding food and lighter alcoholic beverages at stadiums, but that certainly is not the case here. Oh, and the food and drink options aren't terribly priced! Large beers tend to be less than $10 each, which although pricey, is less than you'd typically pay at any sort of sporting event. read more

I've been making it a goal to visit all 30 MLB ballparks to watch my Dodgers. I was able to catch 2 games here at this nice looking ballpark. It's very convenient located with everything very easy to find. The weather outside was about 110F when I was there, so obviously they had the roof closed for the game. Still it felt kind of warm inside at about 75F. It had interesting acoustics as I'm used to an open-air stadium. It seemed like all of the sounds was amplified. The layout for some of the sections were a bit strange, but I found that my seats were adequate. Overall I had an enjoyable time at this ballpark. read more

I've been to many baseball games (and one concert) at Chase Field. I love it! There is really not a bad seat in the house - and I've sat in a lot of them! There are plenty of parking options nearby or you can take the Metro Rail. I recommend checking to see if there are a lot of events going on downtown as this can affect parking prices. For example, the lot that I normally park in for games is $10, during the concert it was $40. The stadium is clean, and easy to get a round. I have never had to wait in a long line for the ladies room either. If you have read other reviews you know they have great food and drink options too. Make sure you visit the Rally-backs to get a sign printed before the game. I also make sure to get an updated picture with Baxter, he is the best! read more

This is the first covered baseball stadium I'd been to since the Kingdome days in Seattle, I am totally not used to watching baseball indoors, but I love that once the weather cooled down at the Diamondbacks' game vs. Texas a few months ago, the roof was opened to reveal the natural sunlight : ). My goal is to visit all the MLB ballparks, and Chase Field was a fun part of my bucket list. My family and I enjoyed the booth that lets you take a photo 'with' your favorite Diamondback, and I enjoyed all of the food options as well. The game itself was fun, I'm a Giants fan and enjoyed the looks I received in my Bumgarner jersey. The Chase Field staff is friendly and although my huge fry bread taco didn't have very much meat compared to the amount of fry bread, it was fun to try. There is also a value menu for those wanting a smaller size of soda or various food options, which I was completely impressed with. The fact that the stadium cares about its fans' budgets was awesome! The AC felt amazing as we walked in from the hot sun and the parking garage was inexpensive ($15) and convenient. Took my 60 yr. old uncle & his 65 yr. old buddy to the Guaranteed Rate Bowl Game held @ Chase Field this past Tuesday night. Another night to spend quality time enjoying the Game my uncle & I have had the blessing to be part of both as players & now as fans. Taking in all the excitement of the various sporting events brought to the state each year, something we've done together since I moved here in 1998. We parked in the south garage near the elevators as close to handicap accessibility his handicap parking plaque would allow us to park. And just like any other night at Chase Field we'd walk across the bridge connecting the parking garage to the stadium. When we arrived at the gate to enter across the bridge a voice yelling what section are you in greeted us and others approaching the gate. The lady checking tickets seemed to care more about directing the flow of fans to other areas of the stadium instead of catering to the needs of fans requiring some form of ADA accessibility. She directed us to the west bridge where the elevator providing access from the bridge to the ground floor was NOT WORKING. The only way down was down 3 flights of stairs, not a big deal for me but a challenge for two elderly gentlemen that still had to walk to our seats once we got into the stadium. I obviously wanted to share my concerns with management or someone that could address the issue with the down elevator, but more than that the issue with the lady taking the tickets who was so concerned about anything but providing a service to our senior citizens that deserve a level of service and attention their disabilities already challenge. I did take the time to stop by the Satdium Customer Service office to express my concerns, only to feel like no-one seemed to have an added interest in addressing what I thought was a disservice to the public and all the other elderly fans that experienced what I had witnessed. There was a bright light to the evening once we encountered our "Angel in the outfield" as it relates to a movie favorite of mine. Lilly "Lovely" Gomez at one of the Kiosk located in the stadium just outside the doors to the Stadium Customer Service Office. Lilly not only provided us beverages, but she was able to redirect our energy, our feelings and our negative outlook on 1 bad experience to a bigger picture, a better thought, and the significance of Friends, Football & Forgiveness. The positive vibes are contagious, and I would like to say Thank You Lilly for being our Angel in the outfield. Our night only got better and what started out to be one of those forgetful evenings will be 1 that we will cherish and remember because you made it special.
