Good sized stadium shared by the Dodgers and White Socks for their Spring Training. Plenty of big restrooms and lots of options for drinks and food. No slushies or frozen drinks though. But they do have ice cream sandwiches, frozen yogurt pints and dipping dots. This is the Arizona stadium, and usually in the spring time it's in the 80's, but this weekend it got to a high of 104. Many people couldnt even sit in the seats that they paid for. A lot of us went to stand in any shade available by trees and signs. One guest actually over heated to the point of almost passing out and needed to get taken indoors on a stretcher. Normally it's not this hot, but unfortunately today it was scorching.

    Let's go Dodgers!

This facility is shared by the Dodgers and White Sox. There's not a lot of shade in the main seats, but lots of grassy areas, and shade if you don't mind standing at the top of the sitting area. Such a great place to watch a ball game! My one complaint is the cost of food and drinks. You can't bring in your own (minus a sealed bottle of water) but the prices are absolutely ridiculous for anything in the park.

I like that the ballpark does the Resident Pass for cheap tickets day of games. I took advantage of that and got lawn tickets for my family. I got my tickets electronically and had zero service while walking up to security. We walked off to the side to try to get the tickets to load with no luck. We later saw the Wi-Fi sign right before you get your tickets scanned....maybe putting that further out would be helpful as I wasn't the only one with that problem. We had a good view from the lawn part we sat in and the weather was great that day. It's really annoying they don't allow outside food or drink in the ballpark and then they charge insane prices for food. Food doesn't have to be that expensive.

Still. Not much has changed here since my last visit 9 years ago except the prices. White Sox lawn - $17 Dodgers lawn - $64 Beer - $19 Free parking Try the guava margarita at Tres Bonitos, which is $18, but has alcohol.

The hotdogs are not good. The dodger dog I had was inedible. Not even heated up. On a sunny day, see if you can get a shady spot. Pay more for shade. We were dying in row 7 on a 106 degree day. It was both more than I expected and less. It was fun to hang out with all the other dodger fans . We liked seeing the new robot umps for a few plays. Make sure you read the rules for what you can take in. No outside food, no aerosole skin protection, no non clear bags. Only unopened water, etc.

Brace yourself for the pain of parking, but other than that, the venue is BEAUTIFUL and well maintained! Not a fan of baseball, but the vibe plus great food and drinks options made the experience great!

My first spring training game here and it was really great overall. I love the lawn seats and it was perfect weather for the game. The food was outrageously priced, but it was really good. We enjoyed our seats in the lawn, and how easy it was to access everything. It's a very well maintained property and all of the stuff that we encountered were very kind and friendly. I will definitely return!

We bought the All-You-Can-Eat Porch Seats for about $98 per ticket, and honestly, I would've been happier grabbing food from a hardware store concession stand than eating here. The food selection was extremely limited, and the food handling raised serious concerns. At one point the jalapeños were being served with single-use plastic forks sitting in the tray, which didn't exactly inspire confidence in food safety. The bigger issue? The seating situation. After paying nearly $100 per seat, we found out there are only about 25 actual seats available, and it's first-come, first-served. Nothing like paying premium prices and then playing musical chairs. Yikes. You'd think with payrolls big enough to pay players like Kyle Tucker tens of millions a year, they could manage a halfway decent buffet and guaranteed seating for paying customers. Never again.

The Dodgers and White Sox share this spring training facility and what a perfect ballpark it is. There are lots of grassy areas in the outfield for families to put down their blankets for a picnic. We got seats that were comfortably shaded from in the bright desert sun. The concessions included lots of interesting food choices. We got freshly grilled smash burgers, which were absolutely delicious. I am glad we got reserved parking, which turned out to be located very close to the entrance. Many of the big name and Japanese players were away playing in the World Baseball Classic but that meant the frenzied fans were absent and we got to enjoy a really fun game between the Dodgers and Diamondbacks.

Attended the Dodgers' first week of spring training and it was a scorching day, probably not for AZ standards but definitely too warm for a mid February day. There are not too many seats that offer any type of shade and most of the lawn spots were all in direct mid-day sun. We did some walking around during and noticed some shade near the scoreboard but there were "security" employees constantly telling people that seating in certain areas was forbidden. People were just sitting, not climbing or jumping, just trying to get away from the hot sun for a bit. But I guess it's such an inconvenience to have people sit around for some reason. At one point we walked up to the field fence at the lawn area to get some pictures with the players in the back but another employee was on us the whole time. We were not touching or leaning (because we heard him yell at someone else for leaning on the fence) but he literally chose to stand about 3 inches away from us, so we couldn't get a good picture. He did not say anything to us so we figured we'd wait until he moved so we could get our picture, nope that didn't happen. Apparently after about 3 minutes of standing in our personal space, he decides we are "not allowed" to stand there at all. We told him we just wanted a picture and he proceeds to tell us that he's doing his job. We just walked away but he just ruined the experience for us.

While in Phoenix, AZ, one of my to-do things on my bucket list was to see the state-of-the-art Camelback Ranch in Glendale. Camelback Ranch is the baseball spring training complex for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago White Sox major league baseball teams. And as an avid fan of the Dodgers, I had to see the grounds where great players such as Shohei Ohtani, Roki Sasaki, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Clayton Kershaw, and many others who would be there shortly to start practicing before the regular season that starts on 3/27/25. However, I was just a few days too early before the spring practices started but still enjoyed driving around the huge grounds. Built in 2008 and 2009 at a cost of $121 million, the 141-acre complex opened on 3/1/2009, with the suburb of Glendale as its owner, and was the largest spring training stadium in the nation. It has 10,000 seats + 3,000 seats on the lawn with grass hillsides. Camelback Ranch gets its name from the name of the property it's built on and is located on Camelback Rd. and Ballpark Blvd. It replaced Holman Stadium in Vero Beach, FL as the Dodgers former spring training home and Tucson Electric Park in Tucson, AZ as the White Sox spring training home. Camelback Ranch has 13 full-size baseball fields and 3 half fields + landscaped grounds, walking trails, and citrus groves that include 5,000 plants and trees. The Dodgers and White Sox each has 2 major league baseball fields and 4 minor league fields + 1/2 infields and specialized areas for sliding and bunting drills. There are access tunnels for players to enter the stadium from their clubhouses. Construction requirements differed with each team, e.g., the White Sox elected to have their minor leaguers cohabitate with the big leaguers, whereas the Dodgers wanted a separate clubhouse for their minor league players. The areas for the 2 teams are separated by a 3-acre fish-filled pond. The stadium has 8 full suites, 4 mini suites, a suite-level party deck, a press box, merchandise store, and an outfield party area. It can host festivals, expos, day shows, and concerts. Its concession stand offers Dodger dogs, Chicago dogs, walking taco, pizza, house-smoked barbecue, mac & cheese, elote, rattlesnake sausages, and foot-long bratwurst and Italian sausage. Natural materials and finishes are highlighted with buildings having stone or brown finishes to simulate the desert skyline. People have noted that it's a beautiful facility with a fun and great ambiance in a park-like setting. Hours of operation are Mon to Fri 8:30a to 5p with extended hours during spring training. Lots of free parking is provided. The stadium is family friendly, as there is a designated area for strollers, and kids under 2 years of age are admitted free. I regret that our timing of our visit missed the spring training practices by a couple of days. Although the complex was closed, we spoke at length to a security guard sitting on a golf cart by a field entrance who described to us the setting that would take place in the next few days. He explained that the pitchers and catchers start their practices about a week before other position players. With the popularity of the baseball players from Japan, he noted how scores of Japanese media people and cameramen will be running after their players to get the latest scoop for their publications, and how the local paparazzi have been following every move of the Babe Ruth of this generation, Shohei Otani. Visitors and kids will swarm around players to get prized autographs. He also knew which players were present based on their cars parked in their assigned stalls. We were excited with what he told us, knowing how popular the Dodgers are, considering that they won the 2024 World Series and have many of the top players in the league. I was so excited to hear his stories! Just by driving around the perimeter of Camelback Ranch, I was impressed as to how huge the area was and with 13 full-size baseball fields, I could not imagine how anyone could walk around it. Now that I am home, I am watching the practices and the spring training games at Camelback Ranch and can picture the layout of everything. I only wish I were there at this moment and hope to return one day in the midst of spring training games. In the meantime, go Dodgers!

Are printed tickets required? Or Can they just scan the tickets on my phone? As anyone used this feature yet?

Mobile tickets are fine. Just make sure to download the PDF barcodes. QR codes are sometimes hard to scan. Also keep in mind to download before you get to the ballpark. The cell signal is tough sometimes. Also it's sunny so it might not scan easily.

Took awhile to get thru once we passed the security check-in and were filtering down a few levels to get to the floor. Of course there were a ton of people and we were packed like sardines but the flow was smooth and people were patient. Once we got to our seats, we got situated and Leon Thomas was already midway as the opening act. There was a slight mixup as one chair, the "30th" seat was missing on our row and we ended up moving down one seat to our left as the group with the seating issue kept trying to figure it out. Some numbers were missing on our seats but mine was visible and we could verify where we were seated. Luckily, our seat neighbors were nice people and accommodating since there seemed to be an extra seat that was empty. When we first arrived, there were some people who sat near our seats that weren't supposed to be there but you know there's always one of those so they moved. It was fun and festive. The woman in front of us with her daughter was recording the whole time as well as the lone guy next to my cousin who was doing the same and singing to EVERY SONG, LOL!! Thankfully we never had to use the bathroom as we went during dinner right before the concert. There were Porta-Pottys on the floor level inside as your bathroom. Also, you couldn't take an actual canned drink inside. Attendants had you put them in a cup unless they weren't paying attention and you had your drink in your see-thru backpack like the guy in front of me walking in. Speaking of, you need to look at bag dimensions and restrictions prior to going to the events. I looked ahead of time and brought a clear, plastic purse within the allowed guidelines/dimensions. Acoustics were great, there was never a glitch, 2 large screens on the left and right of the stage were great for folks seated far away and were a great visual for close ups even for us. Security was effective and checkpoints at the entrances went smoothly. It was a bit crazy getting out of the stadium but we got out. Getting out of the parking lot was another story. It was a long, log-jam and some vehicles were impatient and nearly hitting other vehicles just to get in the line to get out! I think the parking guides and traffic monitors could've done better in an orderly and streamlined fashion. In any case, we had fun and luckily people inside were nice and courteous. This was my 2nd concert at this stadium and am well-pleased with the ambiance. It was just the parking lot situation that needs to be more efficient. Hopefully they worked it out the next evening since Bruno played 2 nights here.

Later, Penn State's success continued as they drove straight down the field for a Saquon Barkley touchdown to make it a 14-0 Penn State lead. When the game looked like it was all Penn State, Washington responded with a trick play that took them down to the 10 yard line. Eventually, Jake Browning snuck in for a touchdown, to get Washington on the board. However, when momentum looked like it was shifting Washington's way, Penn State responded with a Mike Gesicki third-down conversion and a DeAndre Thompkins catch on the 1 yard line, which lead to a Miles Sanders touchdown. They take their sweet time trying to get my food going and took another 5 minutes to put my food back in the oven. By then it's been 15 minutes already and I was getting impatient as the movie was starting already. Once the food finally gets to me, I asked to confirm if they gave me the right sauce. They didn't. I asked for ranch and bbq for my tenders but Robert puts in buffalo. I politely tell him that I wanted bbq and ranch. He then goes on to protect the girl after she admits getting it wrong that they're not allowed to serve 2 sauces unless they paid extra. Not knowing that information, he accuses me of stealing and gives me attitude about it, trying to protect her and antagonize me about it. I don't know, seemed like he's just trying to get in the girls pants and be an angel in front of her. I get offended and upset and also didn't back down. Once I finally get walking to my movie, he FOLLOWS me inside and when I confront him he just says "I work here and I'm going around", but why would you go into the same exact movie that I was going to if he wasn't trying to threaten me. Sus. I also don't back down and then he comes back trying to start a fight. Ruined the whole mood of the movie afterwards He must've known when my movie ended too because once I got out he was by the concession stand ready to stare me down with his other workers until I left. Robert, if you see this. Know that you are one shitty piece of work that will probably never get the girl you were being so defensive about. Do NOT interact with Robert. He will give u an attitude and has temper issues
