She didn't hand us a score keeping card and seemed annoyed we decided to still golf. She said it would take an hour to complete the course which it didn't for a party of two so it seemed like she wanted us to leave. On the very last hole, thirty minutes before closing she turned off a lot of the sounds and special effects then hurriedly took my husbands golf club and took away our pencil so we couldn't calculate our points. Lines at the refreshment bars were long-ish and more expensive than I thought: a glass of wine in a paper cup was $18. The concert itself had me smiling a lot because the show itself was lights and opera and dancers, the violinist was superb, the orchestra director fantastic as were the Italian musicians. I have adored Bocelli and his incredible voice since his "Romanza" album came out, and seeing him live was such a treat for me, so I can also admit to have a bit of a crush on him. So enthralled by Andrea and the entire concert that I forgot to note the names of everyone else ... The venue is huge, stadium big; there is a covered walkway from the parking garage across the street, where parking was chock full: too few ADA spots and we ended up on the open terrace at the top. We were planning on going around the vendor stalls in the entrance area but didn't see any open after the concert. We had been at this venue (before the name change) and parked in the VIP area, making it quicker to enter, but the walk from the garage parking was a short one. Overall it was a great evening and fantastic concert. The seats were not the comfiest, with the back straight and very little leg room to boot, hard to cross legs and change position, but the seat backs had a holder for our drinks. This seat came with a semi-private booth, unlimited food and soft drinks from a buffet, and wine and beer as well. This felt like the ultimate VIP experience and the view was great as well. The sound was well balanced for the concert and the lights and effects were coordinated well too. I didn't partake this time because of the included buffet, but in walking around I was really impressed with all the dining options- local restaurants included instead of just the regular hot dogs and popcorn. The only downside is that due to the location, parking was hard to find/crowded and expensive. But that's downtown Phoenix for you. I'd return to this venue for another event for sure

The biggest downside was how crowded and congested everything felt. We also saw several people sitting in seats they hadn't purchased, which caused frustration when the actual ticket holders asked them to move. Some became argumentative, making the seating areas even more crowded. I did notice the stadium has a number you can text if there's an issue, which I thought was a great idea. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the energy of the game!

It is home to the ASU Sun Devil football team, which just switched from the Pac 12 Conference to the Big 12 Conference this past year. The stadium seats more than 53,000 fans, which decreased from almost 75,000 fans in 2018. This stadium used to host the Fiesta Bowl or the Cactus Bowl every year for many years. It was also home to at the Arizona Cardinals and Phoenix Cardinals over the years. I was in the Mountain America Stadium last night for ASU's annual Sun Devil Welcome and Infernofest, two start-of-the-year events that welcome students to ASU. I also previously attended the Change the World event, where students competed for scholarships by sharing their pitches and displays to "change the world" over the course of the evening. ASU also hosts other events from graduation ceremonies (at the end of the academic year), Pat's Run, and even employee appreciation barbecues. There is also the ASU 365 Community Union events, which include the movies on the field, stadium yoga, and Sparky's Fairway (see my photo). In addition to the many concerts held there (U2, Rolling Stones, The Who, Paul McCartney, Eagles, and George Strait to name just a few), the stadium has also welcomed the Pope, President Obama, A lot of fans have been talking up how they have been impressed with the recent renovations from the updated entrance area to new vendors to the massive screen. In fact, it's been said to have been less of a renovation and more of a reconstruction from the ground up. A new 12,000 square foot club area was added on the 300 level on the east side, which is now enclosed and air conditioned with a beer garden above. The nearby light rail also has elevated the experience for football attendees nowadays. The stadium is a great place to be for many different sorts of events, though for being more than 65 years old, it looks great!! I certainly recommend it.

And they're connected to Drogba and that makes them even more appealing. This is an amazing field where the Phoenix Rising play and it's an amazing atmosphere especially in the supporters section. One of the best atmospheres in the US for soccer outside MLS and this team needs to be in MLS as soon as possible. One of my favourite things is that all the supporters in the supporters section have a strong left-wing passion and they even have a banner sign that says immigrants welcome or refugees welcome or something. Really wonderful work from all of them. And lots of hot people come here to watch games. So Phoenix isn't the only thing Rising if you know what I mean. They lost points for the recent racism scandal, though.

For the past two years my sister and I have attended the Arizona Fall Frenzy. If you don't already…read moreknow, The Fall Frenzy is a three day festival that is held every year in September. The Fall Frenzy is always held at The Tempe Beach Park, Its outdoors and its always very hot. The band line up is always very versatile this year they had bands like; Stone Temple Pilots, Sublime with Rome and Disturbed, those are just three of the twenty bands that were in attendance. Both times I have gone to the festival I have gone the second day which is hosted by X103.9 (an alternative radio station in the valley). When I arrived at the festival the morning of September 18th I remember it being very hot outside. Walking trough the gates I noticed the food was expensive and the Shade was scarce. Honestly I was so excited to see my favorite bands I didn't notice much of anything else. I waited all day for Sublime with Rome, they are a Ska Punk band that after fourteen years of not playing together is finally touring again. The sun was setting and it couldn't be more perfect, The first song they played was "Get Ready", the audience just went crazy, every one knew all the words to the song including me. The atmosphere was amazing, everyone was dancing and singing along with Rome. It was a bit smoky out in the crowed but I think that's what you have to expect going to a Sublime concert, It was a bit strange though seeing someone new fronting one of my favorite bands. They preformed well and Rome tried to keep with the Sublime style, The audience seemed to welcome Rome by singing along and cheering. I was a bit iffy with it, but at the end of the day its nice to see Sublime back together. Overall though I liked there performance. One great thing was the set list, they played everything from "What I Got" to "Caress me Down". I remember Rome saying that they were playing there last song, and I didn't want it to end, seeing Sublime play live is something that I will never forget.

It was quite a drive from Scottsdale and the area in Goodyear didn't seem that exciting haha. There was plenty of parking and it was on a grassy dirt area in front of the stadium. Surprisingly there were a lot of Reds fans too. The stadium did feel like a new, clean and cementy stadium. Plenty of vendors lined up for food, drinks and snacks around the park. The actual concessions were not the best at all though. It was cool seeing a little baseball field that little kids can enjoy and hangout. We sat super close to the field which made it a fun experience to enjoy. Overall the stadium didn't have any character and felt like a college stadium or something. I guess I'm bias with Giants having their own stadium.
