Tickets to Goldeneye

I love the selections and how packed the place gets, you can really feel the love for movies everyone in there has when a big event unfolds. Only gripe I have is the fact they play ai movies, why? If it's to keep the lights running I get it but I am not a fan, otherwise, love this place

A movie theater where you can get tickets for $3.50 AND snackies for less than $20?! WHAAAAT?! Count me IN!! I currently have a love/hate relationship with social media, but I'm so glad I came across a post showcasing this glorious theater located in Tempe! I was going to try it out by myself but the Crazy Cat Lady (if you follow me on the gram, you know who that is, lol) decided to come out from the boonies on a whim, so we went. We saw "Weapons" and it had us hooked to the end! No, the seats don't recline (they do lean back a little) or have swingy table tops for your snackies, but they have cup holders and they're not cloth seats, so for $3.50 (and $2.95 every Thursday) you really can't complain! The theater was clean and the nostalgic decor make for a very enJOYable experience. There's also an arcade in the front lobby to the left once you enter. My only little gripe is that the restrooms are on opposite ends, but that's a very minor setback. The concession stand has all the basics: popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, candy and drinks. We got the combo deal for $11.95, which includes a medium drink, medium popcorn AND a hot dog (or pretzel). We ordered an additional small drink and the total came out to $15 and some change. I don't know about you, but I know a good deal when I see one and this here is pretty epic in today's economy! Of course the movies shown here are a few months old, but I love that because that means it's not crowded at all. I can't stand a packed theater. This would be a great place for a birthday party, team-building or just a simple no frills kinda date! There's a bunch of pic opps in here, too. Have yourself a blast and don't forget to take a pic with Chewie, like me! Lol!

Best discount theater I've been to. You can tell the owner has a true passion for movies and for keeping that culture alive. The popcorn is delicious and freshly popped, and the whole experience makes you feel fully immersed in the magic of going to the movies.

Me and my husband have been wanting to check out this theater for some time. It is definitely unique, from the many collectibles to video games in the front. Love the idea of being able to catch an "older" movie for $3.50. Snacks are decently priced too. I was able to get the Pollack combo for less than $12. It included a hot dog, drink and medium popcorn. The theater was kept clean. I wish the chairs reclined all the way back, but it was nice that they did have a little rock in them. Definitely a great option for the kiddos.

My girlfriend told me about this theater. We came here to see Fly Me to the Moon earlier this afternoon. Seats were super comfortable, concessions more affordable than AMC or Harkins and the staff were very friendly. So cool to see all of the statues and memorabilia

My only regret was not knowing about this movie theater sooner. I love this place! They play movies that are not in chain theaters. They play old movies here. Last week I watched Disney's "The Princess and the Frog" and I enjoyed my experience here. The concession stand was highly affordable and you get a bang for your buck here. The prices are super cheap and the atmosphere is so interactive that I was browsing around for 30 minutes after my movie done. I highly recommended coming here to beat the Arizona heat. Great place for the kids

This franchise replaced the Alamo Drafthouse and patron etiquette has been subpar ever since. Alamo had a very easy and firm system that ensured patrons were getting the value of their ticket. Each trip to a dine in theatre is around $50 for me and my friends each. I expect to not have my movie interrupted by shitty guests who cannot follow theatre etiquette at all. I just saw The Backrooms with a friend and had a woman next to us who kept giving commentary after everything that happened in the movie. Then at one point turned on her phone flashlight at full brightness to seemingly look for something but kept it on for nearly 3 full minutes and kept shining directly in our faces. Turned toward her to gesture that it was disruptive and she just stared at us. I went mid movie to the front desk yo file a complaint about it and they said because their menu is a QR code on the table top that they can't do anything about the excessive flashlight use. And that for the talking they would let a manager know. Then offered us to move seats mid movie. What a horrible response to a situation where they should've had an employee ask her to stop talking or be ejected from the theatre. Alamo had the perfect system, physical menus and paper cards for ordering food. A very clear and strict PSA before the feature explaining the expectations and etiquette rules and a discrete and non-disruptive system for complaining about noisy patrons on the paper cards. This is why people do not go to the theaters anymore. I would've enjoyed the movie more if I didn't have some inconsiderate fuck in my ear the whole time during a very quiet and atmospheric horror movie, breaking the immersion. I love going to the movies and for midnight showings or re-releases of cult classics, I absolute let expect and welcome some chatter and disruptive reactions. But this is not the first time this has happened at this theatre and I frankly would've been better off streaming this movie at home if I wanted to enjoy it. Please for the love of god, do better so that you can continue to make movie theaters an enjoyable destination for patrons.

Partly too since I had fallen asleep on the way which made it even better when I woke up as we turned into the property. We arrived about 30 minutes before our designated show time (10:15p), had enough time to go through entry, get snacks, use the bathroom and park. The signs were mildly confusing so we landed on the wrong screen at first which. Luckily that was an easy correction. You just gotta know by the audio not matching the images. I liked the idea of tuning into an FM station for audio and being able to talk, or even be in a more private space to see the film. It was hard to see the darker scenes though, given some light pollution on nearby areas. That's to be expected for projectors anyways. I would love to be able to do this again soon.

One thing I really liked is that the IMAX theater is separate from the regular theaters and has its own dedicated area, including concession stands and bathrooms. It makes the experience feel a little more premium and less crowded. Concessions are priced exactly how you'd expect at a movie theater, but the food was actually pretty solid. We ordered the chicken tenders combo along with popcorn and a drink. If you order a combo meal, you place the order at the counter and then wait in a separate pickup area where they bring the food out to you. The tenders came out piping hot and the fries were crispy. They also have extra butter dispensers if you want more, which I always do. The IMAX screen is HUGE and the sound system was excellent. Honestly, there really doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. We sat in G21/G22, which looked close to center on the seating chart, and the view was fantastic. Nice bonus that there's also an elevator available for guests who need accessible access to the upper seating areas. The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is the seating. The seats were standard theater seats that rocked slightly. They were comfortable enough, but reclining seats with tray tables would have made the experience much better, especially since any food you order basically has to be eaten from your lap. One small touch that stood out: before the movie started, a staff member made a live announcement reminding everyone to silence and put away their phones. Most theaters just play a prerecorded message now, so that felt surprisingly personal and appreciated. Overall, a really enjoyable IMAX experience and definitely worth checking out for big blockbuster movies.

While we were watching the movie shortly after eating the popcorn, I started to develop stomach pain. After leaving the theater, both of us experienced severe stomach cramps, diarrhea, and significant abdominal pain. Even now, we are both still experiencing stomach pain and it has not stopped. The symptoms have been bad enough that we are scheduling a visit with our primary care doctor. We wanted to share this experience so the theater can review their food handling and so other guests can be cautious. We hope management looks into the freshness and safety of the popcorn and butter stations.

They always seem to have a good discount going on something, so if you're looking to spend under $10/ticket be sure to check their website or app for the best deals. This location has a full bar in the lobby with many regional beers on tap. You can also order food while in the theater and the friendly servers will bring it to the table between each pair of seats! Wednesdays they have a $5 menu for popcorn, pretzels and more. This is one of few places I can eat popcorn without any digestion issues...not something I can say at the larger rival theaters! The theaters are clean and spacious. While the chairs don't have automated controls to recline, they are large, comfortable and spaced apart so you're not rubbing elbows with the stranger next you. They have a lot of quirky and nostalgic advertisements and videos to watch before the movie starts. You may enjoy these more than your feature film! A few drawbacks are 1) the theaters are smaller than most...so if you're looking to watch a hot new release it may be hard to find seats during prime time. 2) Given the smaller theater, the screen is also on the smaller size. 3) As they deliver food during the movies, you may have workers walking by you often depending your seat choice. Their system isn't foolproof as I had them deliver me food for other people and watch my food go to other people. Overall, if you're looking to avoid the larger theaters and have some older-fashioned fun, this is a great place to visit!

I know we stood in line for at least 20 minutes behind ONE person who seemed to be complaining about everything. Once she was finally done, the guy who was standing to her left moves right in front of us and has an issue with his order (or whatevaaa)!! He eats up another 5 to 7 minutes before we FINALLY get to place our order. I had tried to move to another line as the cashier didn't have anyone in front of him although he had just helped a couple. I asked if he was taking orders and he said no, that his system went down. Ummm, okayyyy. So my friend was still standing in the original line where the guy cut in front of us and we finally got to order. The Chicken Tenders took up another 7 to 10 minutes before we finally got them. The lines started piling up behind us. We saw at least 2 managers but none of them seemed to be managing. I would think on weekends of all times, you'd have most of the registers open, but they only had about 3 or 4 up and running. Needless to say, by the time we got to our seats, we had missed the beginning of the movie. SMDH! It's really annoying that we paid for something and partly got ripped off (idk how much of the beginning we missed). And yes, I do know you can order food ahead of time online, but we tend to be indecisive sometimes so that's why we ordered when we arrived. Minus 2 stars for the crap service at the concession stand. No apology from the guy who took our order, either. 3 stars for the reclining seats in great condition, theater seemed to be kept up pretty well, and the food was hot and fresh. I guess if we come back, we are coming at least an hour before show time, and HOPE that we'll have a better experience.
