Super fun arcade located inside the Yucca Tap Room! There's three entire rooms of mainly pinball machines, but some other arcade games too. There's a little tiki bar and I got the vacation in valhalla drink. They also have a few NA beverages and the prices are good. There's two machines to get tokens from if you have cash (or you can get cash back when you order drinks). My friends and I had a great time trying out the various pinball machines! We were excited to check this place out, especially to play their selection of obscure Japanese games -- such a unique find for pinball and arcade fans! We called ahead to ask about food options before coming in. The phone greeting was pretty simple but they were happy to confirm that we could bring food in to the adjacent bar. The arcade is a fun place to hang out and grab drinks, whether it's to kick off your evening or finish it. There's a token machine there, so remember to bring cash so that you can play video games and pinball. The only problem I had was with trying to order food. You can only order via scanning the QR code, but my husband and I couldn't get it to work with our phones for whatever reason, so we weren't able to order snacks. An arcade hidden in a bar that is open longer than most businesses. Just assuming that this place is 18/21 and over since you have to walk through the bar to get there. I arrived around 10 am and I had to wait a few seconds for my eyes to adjust to the darken bar. There was three people at the bar and two people in the arcade. This is a coin op center so bring bills. Great assortment of pinball machines and other arcade games. Looks like there is a weekly league here as the tv screens indicated as such. Supposedly, there was a strikes tourney I missed by one day. Note for future visit: drive my own car and don't stay late. read more

This place is in a very interesting neighborhood, it is a bar on one side, very dark, very dive, bar themed, but on the other side is three separate rooms filled with these pinball machines. Now most of the pinball machines will cost you between $.50 to a dollar. There are change machines provided so you can exchange dollars five dollar bills or $10 bills or even $20 bills. And we probably spent a good $10 per person here. It's easy to spend $10 quickly , and I forgot how difficult some pinball machines can be. However, they have a lot of of the classic pinball games and if you stick to the 50 Cent games, your money will go a little bit further and you'll actually play some of the older nostalgic games as well. If you're into arcade games, specifically old school pinball machines, you won't find another bar that has this many. WOW!! They've got some really old machines and some really quirky stuff...see my pic of the Dolly Parton machine! The cute little tiki bar is a fun addition, too. They could use more seating though and beware, when there are bands at the conjoining Yucca Tap Room, it gets LOUD. Fun place though, I recommend a visit. read more

This is my favorite place in the Phoenix area!!! They are open from 6 a.m. until 2 a.m., 365 days a year, but the kitchen opens at 4 p.m. The service is always superb, and the drinks are ridiculously cheap yet delicious (and they will put the giant ice cubes in the drinks that call for them, like an old fashioned, without asking them). The pinball games are well maintained, and there are so many to choose from, old and new, which are rotated with their other business. Their patrons are also respectful, and it seems like there are a lot of regulars sitting around the big bar. I feel safe and comfortable in this place, even though the outside looks a bit sketchy. Do not be alarmed when you pull up outside. It looks sketchy and scary. When we pulled up I told my son I was not sure about this place AT ALL. It's in a place called the Yucca Tap Room But yay! It's a dive bar with two amazing side rooms filled with pinball (new and vintage) machines and old arcade games. Ya gotta buy tokens and most machines take 2 to 4 to play. So pop a $20 in the token exchange and get started. Grab a beer/cocktail from the big rectangular bar where locals start gathering before sunrise. We had a couple hours to waste before catching our flights home from Phoenix and this place was close to the airport and a welcome way to end our long weekend. Not a bad arcade! It looks just like an abandoned warehouse on the outside. When our Uber dropped us off, I was skeptical and didn't know if it was going to be good. However, we walked in and were impressed. It's sort of a bar / hang out area with pinball machines and games in the back. The gal on the phone said that they open at 6 AM, so they know how to get it done early! You can order drinks, play pinball, stay a while, and just enjoy yourself. Outside seats are also available. We were there a good two hours, but you will need some money to get tokens to play the games. It's not like a free play arcade place, so get some singles ready if you want to play a while. They have all sorts of themed pinball machines like Metallica, Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Walking Dead, and so much more! There's even an old school machine that only cost two tokens. The others are usually four. But I think I spent most of my time here on Galaga; my favorite old school game was there for me! And the high score there belongs to me and my mom!! Hopefully that will stick there a while! Go over and play a few games, and have a cold drink as well! I went last weekend with my sister who hyped this place up for weeks. It's a great hidden gem with either Yucca or Electric Bat Arcade for entertainment and it has a lot of fun pinball machines as well many other fun games to pass the time however unfortunately I think I came on a bad day. I like to be the most painless customer possible having worked my own hours in the retail nightmare machine so I approached the bar with both my Id and card in hand. Keep in mind I am a new customer, I don't know what they have available but I know what I like. I waited by the bar patiently until I was serviced, I did not rush her in anyway but the bartender who took my order was aggressive and rude to me immediately and demanded what I want. I asked for a light beer and she replied "ok so what do you WANT?" before rapid firing brand names when I didn't answer fast enough for her liking and I ended up settling on a bud light or something. She then demanded my ID which I think she should've asked for before even taking my order. I closed out immediately and decided that this would be a sober night out as I didn't feel welcomed. I shrugged it off because man whatever ‍ it saves me money if I don't want to give it to you or deal with someone who clearly wants nothing to do with me but my friends told me later she was the same way with them when they approached the bar later themselves so I guess i just want to leave this review for those who aren't clearly regulars. It soured the evening for us and we ended up leaving earlier than we planned. It's a really fun bar atmosphere and I think a lot of the college kids in the area would love this place themselves! but I myself will not go back. read more

This place BLOWS. I'm 19 years old and I went last night to play pinball not knowing about the 21+ after 7pm rule. That's fine. Guy kicked us out told us to come back before 7pm another day. So I show up today at 3:30pm and he IDs me again and says since I'm 19 I can come back with a parent to play pinball in the arcade. Don't waste your time with these CLOWNS.
