    My new favorite pinball machine

The arcade is a fun place to hang out and grab drinks, whether it's to kick off your evening or finish it. There's a token machine there, so remember to bring cash so that you can play video games and pinball. The only problem I had was with trying to order food. You can only order via scanning the QR code, but my husband and I couldn't get it to work with our phones for whatever reason, so we weren't able to order snacks. There's a small tiki bar located inside the arcade. If they don't serve what you're looking for, you can always order something at the Yucca Tap Room which is conveniently right next door.

Super cool spot. Kinda upset I never been before lol lots of games to choose from as well as the beer selection. Token / bill station. Spooky / horror ambiance. They even had a show going on when I went which was cool.

An arcade hidden in a bar that is open longer than most businesses. Just assuming that this place is 18/21 and over since you have to walk through the bar to get there. I arrived around 10 am and I had to wait a few seconds for my eyes to adjust to the darken bar. There was three people at the bar and two people in the arcade. This is a coin op center so bring bills. Great assortment of pinball machines and other arcade games. Looks like there is a weekly league here as the tv screens indicated as such. Supposedly, there was a strikes tourney I missed by one day. Note for future visit: drive my own car and don't stay late.

This place is in a very interesting neighborhood, it is a bar on one side, very dark, very dive, bar themed, but on the other side is three separate rooms filled with these pinball machines. Now most of the pinball machines will cost you between $.50 to a dollar. There are change machines provided so you can exchange dollars five dollar bills or $10 bills or even $20 bills. And we probably spent a good $10 per person here. It's easy to spend $10 quickly , and I forgot how difficult some pinball machines can be. However, they have a lot of of the classic pinball games and if you stick to the 50 Cent games, your money will go a little bit further and you'll actually play some of the older nostalgic games as well. Everything was in great working order. There was no crowds the bar was full and this was at 10:30 in the morning on a Thursday.

Great dive bar and huge arcade! Friendly staff! The bartender was really cool. They just got Jaws installed. Tournaments every Tuesday. Great food too! Drive around the back of the shopping center to find parking.

A great selection of games. We also enjoy that they rotate often. The drinks are affordable and the beer is cold. It's a perfect place to spent a Saturday afternoon.

    Tiki bar!

If you're into arcade games, specifically old school pinball machines, you won't find another bar that has this many. WOW!! They've got some really old machines and some really quirky stuff...see my pic of the Dolly Parton machine! The cute little tiki bar is a fun addition, too. They could use more seating though and beware, when there are bands at the conjoining Yucca Tap Room, it gets LOUD. Fun place though, I recommend a visit.

I like the games where you hit and slap things. Guy who runs the place is a cutie pie.

I had never been…read more In a nutshell, main event is a one stop shop for a fun family outing, an exhilarating date night, a birthday party (for children or adults), or just a spur of the moment place to stop and grab some food. Main Event has it all! There's a sit down restaurant, a pizza counter, a bar, a full arcade equipped with all of the latest and greatest games. There is laser tag, bowling, an obstacle course that is situated above the arcade, billiards, shuffleboard... &I would not be surprised if there are some other activities I forgot to mention. Needless to say, there is something for everyone! The staff is friendly, the service is great. The pricing is fair. &Considering all of the action taking place inside that building, I was pretty impressed by how low the noise level actually was??? So you can sit down and have dinner with your family & friends & still enjoy yourself without being bombarded by pure chaos. That was a plus for me! The food was great! The prices for food were in line with the overall quality. I got the burger tacos (sorry I forget what the actual name was) & fries because that sounded very "off the wall". It was delicious! I made the right choice. Their jalapeño ranch is crazy good, I highly recommend getting a side of that. We also split some fried pickles, and they were incredible! I was very impressed by the meal. Typically, at places like this, the food is very low quality and boring. However, Main Event seems to have it all figured out!

It's cool place to run into and meet people you probably never would be otherwise who likely play the same stuff as you. There's snacks for purchase inside, a subway in the other part of the building, a convenient store that has everything on the other side.. so really there is everything you could ever need. The lighting on the inside is cool, and the computers run everything, are in good condition. The only downside I ever ran into was that sometimes you need to hunt around for a working headset, but other than that . 10/10

Understandably they're there to keep everyone within their designated ~42 inch square but realistically there's no way to aim here, you will absolutely smack your mouse into the bumper if your normal sens exceeds 15cm/180. That math might sound kinda funky but they have a full 100% keyboard with a numpad, so you lose all that space in practice unless you curl up in a wildly unnatural position and rest the keyboard on the plastic bumpers but nothing I did even remotely made this place comfortable. It's as if they've never had anyone play a shooter here, or everyone who ever has had an eDPi of 12000 or higher. They aren't really equipped for MMOs either, every mouse in sight was a Razer Deathadder Essential, no Nagas or Scimitars or even a knockoff 12 button, so unless you're clicking your buttons or reaching to the = key naturally on a full sized keyboard you're crippled. I picked up a 5 hour session off the rip because my buddies in town and I only have one PC in my place, I couldn't even survive 30 minutes here before just giving up and deciding to watch him play, but even a guy who never gets to play, who really wants to play, couldn't survive more than an hour and a half of his five hours. Side note, we pushed in our chair to make space to walk through the aisle and the light rattle of the desk sent a PC for a whole bootloop back to BIOS. If you aren't desperate it's something, but don't come here for Overwatch or Valorant or CSGO or really any shooter.

I'm a…read morebig killer queen fan, the 5 vs 5 game, and we looked up on the official site the locations that had it in the Phoenix area. This place did not show up, but it was the closest so we decided to go here. We walk in the door and killer queen is standing right in front of us. This is the best arcade in the Phoenix metropolitan area and it's not particularly close. This has everything from new pinball with QR codes and sign in rewards and tournaments, to old-school pinball, and really obscure cabinets. We saw them multiplayer arcade games, like Simpsons and ninja Turtles and area 51. They have rare games like the Batman arcade game to super monkey ball with the banana joystick. Having a full room for dance dance revolution with chairs so that a group could go and experience it together ensure each other on is high level arcade experience. Plus the idea of that once you get in with the admission fee, you get to play as much as you want on anything you want is incredible. Folks may not realize that a lot of pinball games these days are a dollar to two dollars per play. If you're bringing in anyone that isn't accustomed to it, will you make back the admission fee back by just a couple of pinball cabinets. And then, if you wanna leave get lunch, or leave and go to a brewery, you can come back with the same wristband on it and they let you back in. Same thing goes if you're with a group of kids and you want to go to Dairy Queen or something, you can go right back in and keep playing. I brought two college age kids here, and of course a lot of these games they haven't played before, but I didn't need to keep a pocket full of quarters, I could just let them roam and we met up periodically to play some group games together. They loved it. They got to be kids again. Why is the five stars are not just a simple four stars is that the little things also matter or like concessions. Bottled water is a dollar. The vintage and playful toy decor is super fun. There's free parking. I don't think every arcade these days needs to be a bar arcade where you get 60% bar and 40% arcade. I like places like this a lot more where the games of the focus the fund is the focus, and then if you want to do your adult things you can do those offsite. I fully recommend this place to any grandparents in the area and you gotta bring some grandkids to do something or burn a few hours. And if you're in town for a ball game or something like that in the area, consider going here as a fun change up, especially when it's scorching hot outside.

We ordered burgers and chicken sandwich with the $35 game card which then cost us $39 for the meal and the pay card. The human crane was $20 extra to do and it had blow up pool like toys in it. My goddaughter wanted the experience but not the toys she would have rather there be stuffing like Squishmellows, State Fair game type prizes for variety. I agree with the 11yo! BFF and I took our kids here today for their birthdays boys are 25 and girlie is 11 and its a perfect place for mixed age groups. We are around 50 and when the kids played we sat in their comfy chairs at our table. They really have the best seating area. So comfy because they know you're going to be there for a while. We went Sunday at 4pm and by 6 almost all the tables were full. We made reservations which I always recommend! The food was average nothing that stands out. It was good, we weren't expecting anything above what it was. The deserts were delish i have a horrible sweet tooth as does my bff and we enjoyed our cake and brownie deserts. They are generous portions so we split it between 4 of us and baby girl had a strawberry milkshake. All was enjoyed. The lost star was for the drinks. For the cost we expected to taste and later feel some effects of having alcohol especially after 3 drinks ea. Nope. So we know for next time drinks elsewhere as there's plenty of options around the area. While we where there we had 2 servers, shift change, they were very attentive nice and got everything right.
