My husband and I visited with our 3 children (aged 4, 6, and 8). We bought an unlimited play card and toward the end of our visit, our 6 year old lost the card in a machine. What could have ended in a disaster of disappointment and tantrums was saved by Brian, who kindly helped us look for the card, replaced it with no questions when we could not find it, and spoke so kindly to my upset kid who blamed himself for the mistake. As we left, Brian high fives the kids and gave them a little extra goody bag. We celebrated my niece's 5th birthday at Dave & Buster's last night, and our experience was so wonderful that I felt each person deserved their own shout-out! Lucas, our host, was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. Dave & Buster's can understandably be loud and busy, but my niece had just broken her arm and had already had a rough night, so he kindly found us a quieter, calmer area where she could be more comfortable. He even came back later to check on us and make sure everything was going well. That extra thoughtfulness meant so much to our family. Jerica, our server, was fantastic! Our group of nine arrived at different times, but she stayed completely on top of checking in as each person joined us. She kept everyone's drinks and food orders going without missing a beat and was friendly, patient, and attentive throughout the entire celebration. Brian, the manager, was also incredibly friendly. He came over to make sure we were having a good night, took the time to chat with us, and made us feel genuinely welcome. I also loved how positively he spoke about his staff and made a point of recognizing how great they are, it says a lot about him as a manager. Lucas, Jerica, and Brian all went above and beyond to take care of us and helped make my niece's birthday feel truly special. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Every year, I choose a spot to host my husband's birthday party. We usually have about 20-30 people. I booked roughly a month in advance via their direct website. I was assigned a manager to keep in touch with regarding any concerns or changes prior to the event. The parts that I found very convenient were that I was only required to pay a $50 deposit to secure booking for the event. At past venues, I was asked to pay over $2,000 to secure a spot. Another awesome feature is that they do not require the host (me) to pay for the whole group!! That is something I've always been faced with & am definitely not interested in the additional stress of trying to tally up everyone in the parties orders and hope that they'll reimburse me. I was looking for a spot where we would have plenty of room to visit with the guests, where kids attending would have fun, and a place that would allow split tabs. I also wanted to be able to sit and visit with guests without feeling rushed out of the place. All of my boxes were checked at Dave & Busters! The whole process was a breeze & the turnout definitely exceeded my expectations! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a host and shown our event area. We were given 2 huge tables for guests to sit at. I will add that the seats were very nice and comfortable, the whole area was beautiful. We had MORE than enough space at the 2 tables for our group. We had 28 guests & over 35 seats available. This was excellent, as nobody had to feel squished (another issue we have faced in the past) . The tables were located in their own area, off to the side, which made it feel much more private. Even though they do not consider that a private space. We had a 2 hour window at the table. However, it didn't seem like anyone else had a reservation that evening, so we ended up using the space for about 5 hours that night. There were special menus available and discounted arcade cards available (unlimited games for $5 (restrictions did apply). This made it super fun and affordable for everyone to have a great time! The waitstaff was excellent, the food was delicious, and as I mentioned before, the space certainly exceeded our expectations. I will also note that the waitstaff did an excellent job assuring that everyone was responsible for their own food/drink/game card orders, as they took a card to hold on file for each individual tab in the group. This gave me peace of mind, knowing that I wouldn't end up stuck fronting the bill for anyone. My only suggestion is to add some kind of system to make getting food & drink orders to their designated spot a little easier for the servers... Since everyone was kind of all over the place & we had so many people in our group, it was difficult for the servers to know where to place the items??? &Nobody knew who ordered what, so we couldn't assist servers in where to set things. I would suggest giving each order its own number or something similar, that way the customer can place the number where they'd like their order to be left at. All in all, my only complaint is that I didn't find Dave & Busters sooner!!! My search for the perfect birthday party venue is officially over! I won't be going anywhere else in the future! I didn't have very high expectations here, but I hoped it would be decent bar food, or just edible food. Starting with the positive - It is a great place to sit down and hang out while the kids are playing safely on the arcades, and the combination deals (eat and play) are reasonably priced when bundled. But the negatives, wow....the food here is really bad, that type where it is so clear that zero effort has been put in at all, on any level, from the cooking to the serving, or any part of the visit. It is like cheap frozen food from the grocery store, microwaved and served as restaurant food. First thing was that our side plates were brought out filthy dirty with ketchup all over them (in between the plates, so we didn't notice until we separated them to pass them around)......shocking, it got all over my hands, all over the table, it was gross. The waitress was stressed out as she seemed to be the only person waiting on all the tables...but she was not as surprised as I thought she might be when I told her about the ketchup mess on the plates. When we asked for clean replacement plates, there was no apology, they didn't care, just "sure, no problem." Then she also forgot to wipe the table, and it took a while to get her attention to come over again. They also got some of the orders wrong and had to take the plates away to fix them. There were no drink refills until we were already about to leave. Sometimes, you just wish you hadn't assumed that the food or anything would be ok...the bill was around $130 plus tip for 4 of us, but it felt like bad everything at every level. D&B is a great place to get away from the heat and have some fun. Not only do they have games, drinks and food, they have events like country nights, Eventbrite also hosts some speed dating events here, you can also rent out the space for parties, school and work events. Sunday thru Thursday their games are half price and if you really want to stretch your buck you order off the eat and play menu. We ordered burgers and chicken sandwich with the $35 game card which then cost us $39 for the meal and the pay card. The human crane was $20 extra to do and it had blow up pool like toys in it. My goddaughter wanted the experience but not the toys she would have rather there be stuffing like Squishmellows, State Fair game type prizes for variety. I agree with the 11yo! BFF and I took our kids here today for their birthdays boys are 25 and girlie is 11 and its a perfect place for mixed age groups. We are around 50 and when the kids played we sat in their comfy chairs at our table. They really have the best seating area. So comfy because they know you're going to be there for a while. We went Sunday at 4pm and by 6 almost all the tables were full. We made reservations which I always recommend! The food was average nothing that stands out. It was good, we weren't expecting anything above what it was. The deserts were delish i have a horrible sweet tooth as does my bff and we enjoyed our cake and brownie deserts. They are generous portions so we split it between 4 of us and baby girl had a strawberry milkshake. All was enjoyed. The lost star was for the drinks. For the cost we expected to taste and later feel some effects of having alcohol especially after 3 drinks ea. Nope. So we know for next time drinks elsewhere as there's plenty of options around the area. I am extremely disappointed with my last visit to Dave & Buster's on 3/28/25. My family and I went to celebrate my sister's birthday, and the experience was far from enjoyable. I hadn't been to D&B in two years, and unfortunately, it has only gotten worse. We arrived around 4:30 PM and immediately noticed that many of the machines were either broken or out of order. Some even took our chips without working properly. Despite this, we played games for about three hours before deciding to attend karaoke at 9 PM. After playing games we waited from 8 to 9 PM for karaoke, expecting the event to be 21+ like before. However, we soon realized it was now open to all ages. When karaoke started, we were shocked by the number of unsupervised children running around, climbing on windows and ledges--especially concerning since this was on the rooftop. Their parents did nothing to intervene; instead, they sat drinking, smoking, and leaving their kids unattended while they went to the bar or restroom. At one point, we even saw a child who looked as young as 3 sitting at the bar. Throughout the night, about 10 young children (ages 3-8) were constantly running, climbing, and disrupting the event. Three 10-12 year olds later joined them, nearly colliding with us multiple times. After an hour of this chaos, we notified management. A manager came up, briefly spoke to one parent and the older kids, and then left. As soon as he was gone, the kids resumed their reckless behavior. In addition to the chaos on the rooftop, we noticed a surge of teenagers in the arcade, especially after 9 PM. Many were running around, taking over the machines, and being disruptive. It was clear there was little to no supervision. Dave & Buster's really needs to reinforce its curfew for children and teens to ensure a safer and more enjoyable experience for all guests. We stayed until 10:30 PM, but the situation never improved. We had planned to stay until 1 AM, but with everything going on, we felt too frustrated and uncomfortable--especially since we didn't want to witness a child getting hurt or falling from the rooftop. Before leaving, we informed management again, and the same male manager returned upstairs. However, nothing changed, and the issue remained unresolved. Overall, this experience completely ruined my sister's birthday. We rarely get the chance to go out and enjoy ourselves, so it was incredibly disappointing. I do not feel like our concerns were resolved and I won't be returning anytime soon. read more

A fun evening with my wife and eldest son. Game cards have gotten pricey ($50ish for 90 minutes per card) and the games were not quite as varied as I recall from previous D&B visits, but we still had a lot of fun as a family. My eldest son loved the token games, but quickly found out his card could only 'earn' so many. So a swap was in order and off he ran with my card. Some of the games at this D&B location were out of order, but overall the floor was operationa, clean, and not too crowded (for a Sunday evening prior to a Monday Federal Holiday). No issue with parking for this D&B. I didn't have any food or drink, so cannot report back on that. read more

I come here as a go to lately to stay out of trouble, enjoy some drinks, watch some football games and enjoy some food. The service is horrible from all sides. I feel bad every time I have to deal with the staff. Knowledge is my issue and they try and charge me more with every drink. I guess I'm not in the "privileged crowd" so they will try and charge me as much as possible. I spend around $200 every time I'm in. For low class service. I got the spicy burger, no bun and fries, mac & cheese for my son, and fries for my daughter. The burger was okay. It lacked flavor and the onions on it tasted old. The fries were good. The mac & cheese was watery and tasted sour so my son returned it and asked for fries. I've wanted to try Dave and Buster's for awhile now. Friday night I finally got my chance and it did not disappoint! My husband had the Buffalo Wing Burger and I had the Lacy's Chicken. My first bite of the Garlic and Herb cheese smothered Chicken breast with Marsala wine sauce and I thought I'd gone to heaven. There was so much flavor packed into that bite. I come here from time to time whenever a group of friends want to hang out or for occasional family birthday parties. Food menu has a variety of pizzas, burgers, pastas and salads. Dave & Buster's has all sorts of games. I like the interactive ones like basketball, skee ball and the sit-down motorcycle or shooting games. I was a big arcade junkie back in high school and still enjoy some of the classic games. You have to purchase a power card to play and can redeem prizes with your tickets from redemption games. This was so much fun!!! :D Came here with Bart for our second date, he initially suggested go karting but that was farther out in Glendale so we came here instead more close. Also it was my first time ever in Tempe Marketplace!! Which is crazy since I'm frequently in Tempe. Anyway, place wasn't too full which was good so practically no lines for the games. Bart got us two cards and we tried soo many different games. Like basketball (which was funny as we both sucked at), ice hockey (my secret forteee!!), axe throwing (my second secret forte!! To everyone's surprise as it was my first time trying it lol), driving video game but like active, shooting game (that one we couldn't play simultaneously though we had to take turns), and so many more. Those were just the highlights. After we got drinks at the bar as they have one in the center with several tropical drink super compelling looking options. They had line dancing on the second floor the day we were there. They brought over the wrong food several times, took it back, then brought it to other tables. They also brought multiple of the same item, as they didn't know we already received items. It seemed really disorganized. The food was mid at best, but I honestly didn't expect much. We also ordered a mini keg for the table, that was supposed to have 64oz beer, which would be 4 glasses. We got three and a tiny bit of a 4th. The game area was packed but had a great variety of games: skill, luck, athleticism, etc. Definitely something for everyone! Now for the service - it was very nice and timely throughout our time; until the time close out our bill when our server hovered over me during the tipping phase at which time I noticed we were tipping on our added $59.99 gaming pass, which makes zero sense - when I questioned it, things went down hill as I was told this is 'common' and that to remove the tipping on that charge would be 'nearly impossible' - so in my head I said F it and just paid the ridiculous tip amount and went on my way. I heard them say the drinks were strong, the bun was so fluffy and after eating a few I heard them say "these are so good". I didn't partake as I was only there for moral support.
