We come here every year to celebrate our anniversary- since this was the spot we had our very first date. Just like last time, our waitress was not attentive, and clearly had very little knowledge of the menu. &We had to chase her down, just like we did before, to get our bill, once we were ready to head out... My husband ordered the smokestack burger which had brisket on it. Before ordering, he asked if the burger had a beef patty on it, or if it was only brisket meat. The waitress told us it was only brisket. She said "it's not a burger patty, just more of a patty shape but it's brisket." That didn't quite make sense, but we figured she should know more about it than we do.... Right? Then he ordered a side of billionaire bacon for the burger. The menu does not even show that there is already bacon on the burger.... Had we known that, we wouldn't have ordered an additional side of it. I got the billionaire bacon burger. It was very flavorful. However, the fries did not taste fresh at all, and I felt that the recipe for the fries changed since last year. They just weren't as good as I remember them being? It was also a bit of a bummer that the waitress did not ask how we wanted our burgers cooked (and my husband wasn't even expecting a burger patty). They came out well done. We would have requested medium rare, had we been given the chance. The atmosphere was great, and surprisingly it wasn't that busy. Now, I didn't know it was like Hooters and Tilted Kilt. So it was an unexpected surprise. While doing some holiday shopping, I realized I wasn't gonna make it home to catch the 4th quarter of a CFB game so I decided to come here as I knew they would have it showing. The only available seating was at the bar, which was fine, and the hostess was great about asking which game I wanted on the TV above me... that was best personal touch this visit. The bonus was a major Netflix boxing match about to start, so I ended up staying longer than expected & watching. As for the food, I ordered the Lobster Roll with fries along with a House Margarita (on special). The sandwich itself was "OK". The fries were lukewarm and the margarita tasted heavy on the syrup and light on the alcohol. I get the appeal for people coming here, but the food didn't really land for me. The bar staff for sure, deals with a lot of craziness, but the constant push to order more drinks felt forced. It didn't come across as genuine hospitality and instead felt more transactional than welcoming. Overall, a good place to come and watch the game, and the TV setup was on point for me, but between the food and bar service, I'ts not a spot I'd go out of my way to return to. read more

I've been in the Phoenix area for the past 7~8 months and I usually try to hit up in the evenings. I always sit at the bar and I must say all the bartenders are just amazing. The bartenders that I see most often are Elaina, Maya, Payton, Kimmie, Lexi, Cassidy, and of course JORDAN. JORDAN is always the hardest working bartender,she is just amazing. This was my first visit here and I wasn't quite sure about it all. But I ended up pleasantly surprised. We don't know but came in on a night there was a big fight on pay per view so place was packed. But we quickly found a seat in the bar area. I had the chicken tortilla soup and it was really flavorful. Loved the fresh cilantro taste. Husband had the fish and chips which were the perfect combo of crisp and flavor! We also had the brownie sundae to round out our experience. Well done!! This place is always one of our favorite spots to stop for a nice bite. First off not too busy around 3pm so we got sat right away. Our server I didn't catch her name :( but I do know she was a trainer but that is beside the fact that she was all around amazing! On top of refills, checking in on us and was just super nice. Now to the food we got the queso and chips and it always hits the spot! I got the half rack of rib spicy style and was were good. The hint of sweet and spice was amazing. First time having the ribs, normally go for the grilled and smoked wings but wanted to try something different this time and I'm glad I did. I recently visited Twin Peaks for the first time after hearing that they serve the coldest and best beer. That part was absolutely true--my Michelada was ice-cold and pretty good! When it came to food, I wasn't sure what to order, so I asked the waitress for recommendations. Her response? "Everything!" Not exactly helpful, but I decided on the avocado cheeseburger with fries, while my group ordered wings with fries and fish and chips. Unfortunately, my burger was extremely dry and disappointing, and the fries weren't any better--also dry and lacking flavor. The fish strips were much smaller than expected and tasted bland. The only real highlight of the meal was the wings--they were definitely the best of the three dishes. On the positive side, the restaurant was clean, and our waitress was very sweet. We sat for a while until finally the server came over. She was friendly, introduced herself, and took our drink orders. Once our drinks were dropped off, she took our food orders. We ordered: One appetizer sampler - tenders, mozzarella bites, and fried pickles One burger with sweet potato fries One country fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans One salmon entrée with mashed potatoes The sampler was enough for the three of us. The tenders were really good! The pickles were ok and the mozzarella bites were not my favorite as they were cold. I ordered the country fried streak and it not only looked unappetizing, it was not good at all. It tasted very reheated and had no flavor. The mashed potatoes were gross as they were flavorless and also cold. The salmon had no flavor and had a very strong weird smell. The burger was very greasy but the sweet potato fries were yummy. Service could've been better. My friends burger was served way after we got our food and we had to flag our server down to let her know my friend was still waiting. Came here to see the differences between this location and my hometown in Texas. Atmosphere/Ambiance - 4/5 - This wasn't too far from my hotel stay, and located in a nice area actually. Typical twin peaks vibe. Staff - 4/5 - Sat at the bar, and it was really hard to get ahold of the bartender to get a drink. Food/Drink - When I finally did get their attention, I was able to order the following: Double Stacked Nachos - 4/5 - Nothing great or bad about them. Just good ole bar nachos. Fried Pickles - 4/5 - Again, just bar food that went well with the beers. Chicken Tenders - 3/5 - These were a little overcooked, but considered that can be normal at a bar restaurant, no big complaint over here. Overall, we have these locations in Texas, and I just wanted to check out the differences. Nothing against this spot, but I will probably eat/drink at other places the next time I am back here for work. read more

I will say we were so pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, the food, and service. Kelsey was our server and I was blown away by how attentive she was. She was fast, efficient, and stopped by the table multiple times to check in on us. I ordered the tacos and they were soooo good, the pork was great! It was a ton of food. My mom ordered chicken fingers and fries (I guess that dish is for all ages ha ha) and you can tell the hand batter their chicken strips (amazing because so many restaurants just use the frozen crap!). The food was great bar food, the TVs and sports were fine, and Kelsey was great... if I was in to "twin peaks" this would be my favorite spot! Every bite was a celebration! The only "issue" during our entire visit? We couldn't stay longer - and that was entirely our fault, not theirs (LOL)! I have been here quite a few times since writing my firsts review. We waited for a short time to be greeted by a woman who was obviously ready to go home. She spoke facing away from us which caused me to not understand what she said. I nicely asked her to repeat herself and she did in an annoying tone. We sat and waited for the server. Sure enough it was the same woman who greated us at the door. I would have asked for a new server however I was with my father-in-law and that possibly would have been embarrassed him. She was straight forward and ready to go home. We had to wait a long time for our beers that sat on the bar. She had forgotten if she took our order then realized we still didn't have our beers. She finally took our food order and then we waited...and waited... I ended up ordering another beer because our food was taking so long. I noticed a man sitting at the bar who ordered his food way after we did got his food while we still didn't get ours. Then the table next to us who sat down after we had ordered got their large order. I decided to get up and let the manager know. He said he would look into it. I sat down and our food showed up. No sorry for the wait or anything. The manager came over to our table a few minutes latter and said "I checked your ticket and it was only 13 minutes old, so..." and looked at me like it was my turn to defend myself. I told him we ordered over 45 mins ago. He said he would talk to our server and walked away. Funny thing is our server never returned after that incident. Looking back I wish I told the manager to look up the times on the beers we ordered to prove I was in fact not lying. The manager basically took over and dropped our check. My father in-law who is about as easy going as it gets normally tips 40% gave a $3 tip and said he would never be back and neither will I. read more
