Fun place. Good beer list (and when they say they serve it cold, they're not kidding!). We came into eat after we had been drinking all night, we waited at the hostess booth for like 10 minutes it took 40 minutes for us to get our food, then we stood and listened to the Manager complain about how he kicked this two "dumb asses" out a couple nights before. It made us super uncomfortable. He was saying "I told them to get the fuck out". I was like oh I guess we probably won't stay long if that's how they feel. I think he was bragging out how he kicked them out I'm not sure, he said it loud enough half the restaurant heard. I was kinda bummed the fry's and burger were mid. The twin peaks in Scottsdale IS FIRE. the food was so much better and I was even drunk tonight lol so it should've tasted better. We are regulars at Twin Peaks in Tempe. Last night was awesome, great food, even better beer, and a great patio. Lucy was our waitress and she was the best one we have had. We never had to wait for anything and our drinks were always full. She was so good, we will ask if we can sit in her section from now on! We always stop at Twin Peaks while in town because the atmosphere is pretty awesome. I just wish they'd expand to California, but we'll have to settle for when we're here during Spring Training. As a sports bar, it's great. TVs everywhere, beer is ice cold and frosty as hell. Drink specials every day of the week that we take advantage of. Food wise, it's decent. I was a party of one so I took table in the patio area. I waited 10 minutes before a waitress came. Once she arrived she I asked for water because the misters were not enough. The hostess came to check on me in which I ordered water which she brought me. My server then brought me water and a beer. This place has some great food. I enjoy the sports atmosphere with all the TVs and the service is generally good. I usually get the grilled chicken wings, but decided to try something different. They have tacos on the menu...crispy ground beef tacos, my favorite. They were really good. I also had a taste for fried shrimp so I ordered the chicken tender and shrimp plate. The shrimp are whole and not butterflied with a light crispy batter. It was the perfect comfort food. I'm not a big fan of their fries, but everything else was delicious. read more

This place has gone downhill. Fries are almost always lukewarm at best (if not cold), like they were just sitting under a heat lamp for awhile. When they're hot and fresh they're good. The cocktails are routinely weak and the beer foamy. Probably just stick to bottled beer so you don't get short-changed. They recently printed a new menu which doesn't have the old lunch specials on it. Barbacks are often talking to the bartenders, preventing them from serving customers. Bartenders are often spending too much time chatting w/one customer while ignoring many others. Training should be: have your head on a swivel and serve as many people as efficiently as possible. If you have to excuse yourself from a lengthy chat ("I'll be right back" even), it'd benefit the other customers who are waiting. Overall, as a regular customer I'd say it's going the wrong direction. Hope they can turn it around. Used to be amazing. If there are in fact lunch specials still they absolutely need to bring back physical menus reflecting that. read more

The food is delicious and our server was so sweet! We ordered the chips and queso and it was so flavorful and a huge portion. It was two of us eating and we ate about half of the order. We also order the chicken tenders tossed in buffalo with ranch! They are the best chicken tenders I've had. We also ordered two ice cold beers: of course they stayed cold and so refreshing during our stay! Our server Kelsey G had a huge table of 20 and still made sure we had literally everything we needed and more. We have come twice and so far she is the nicest server we have had. Giving 4 stars only because I'm not a big sports bar gal, but this was fun for a change!! The navy was playing the army in football and it was ENERGETIC in there!! I got a house Bloody Mary for $6, 3 beef tacos for $9 (these were my favorite and really hit the spot), and loaded French fries for $10. My girlfriend and I decided to stop by after the ASU graduation ceremony to get a bite to eat. The only table that we could sit at was the one line handicap table by the restrooms due to my girlfriend being physically handicapped at the time. The hostess just took my phone number and name and then just went about standing there on the iPad or crouching down and taking bites of food. After about 15 minutes of waiting for the handicap table that was open, I asked about it and was told that they were going by the waitlist. The manager came over and said the same thing and I pointed out that my girlfriend and I were the only ones that needed that table and they basically reluctantly sat us at that table. Services was poor in that took a while for a server to come over and check on us and then basically did not receive any decent service. I have worked in the restaurant industry previously and know that sometime you seat customers ahead of what the waitlist is. My girlfriend ordered a strawberry daiquiri, which a server came back a few minutes later and we were told that you didn't have strawberry daiquiris per say and my girlfriend then asked if you had cosmopolitans and the server didn't have any idea if that could be made. The fish in the fish and chips were alright. Nothing to really say about them. The fries were half seasoned and half not seasoned. Twin Peaks is sure to provide you with a great view! Now, of course I am talking about all of the TVs they have available - you seriously can sit anywhere and watch the game (or multiple games)! The food is well-prepared and some of the finest "bar" food around! And unlike a lot of sports bars, their cocktails are made with care and could easily be mistaken for much more expensive craft cocktails! While I cannot drink beer, I hear that is a big selling point here as they even have a large digital sign bragging about how cold the beer on tap is - as someone who has had too much not-ice-cold beer in the past, this is a great feature. Service is always with a smile and friendly. Gluten-free options are plenty... and trust me when I say that no matter what else looks good on the menu, just go with the brisket nachos! Word of caution - they are more than 2k calories, so split them with your friends/family/lovers/acquaintances/people at the table next to you. Our third time here and our experience has always been incredible. Tonight was special because we had our neighbors from Wisconsin visiting here and this was the one place we wanted to bring them. Needless to say from the moment we walked in we felt extremely welcome as always, and we brought our two dogs with and we sat outside and the Wisconsin Badgers basketball game was on, and they immediately switched the television to that channel for us. Our server was Kaila and she is a very special woman in that she definitely has talent on loan from God as far as her ability to relate to our generation. actually, that is a very special gift that not many of her generation possess. She took time with us answer our guests questions carefully, and never appeared to be in a rush and she was very kind, attentive, and she also brought a bowl of water out for our dogs per her suggestion and that definitely goes a long way with all of us. As with our previous visits, the food is still incredible. I had mom's meatloaf, and my guests had salmon and trout, as well as a burger with a salad, everything was perfect. We also had rye whiskey old-fashioned, which is not the way we make them in Wisconsin, but these are wonderful Arizona style old-fashioneds. Oh goodness me! I stopped in here with my friend because we had to burn off some time before a movie. We ordered a few appetizers , one of them being the nachos with shredded pork on top. I will say that my friend is kinda high maintenance, so she specifically asked if the nachos had a good amount of toppings. Anyone who orders nachos knows they are either awesome or suck; these were priced at $17 and sucked. What they brought out was laughable. I gave it a decent try but it was basically a big tray of tortilla chips with no ingredients under the initial bite. I didn't want to send them back but at $17, they should be edible. The other food was fine but definitely not good. I think we suffered from us being the "two girls sitting at the bar and won't tip us because of our outfits". In no way did we treat them like that. The outfits in no way offended us; in fact we complimented many of them. We had two bartenders. I wish I could remember her name but she was great (petite blonde/sweet and spunky) and the other one was downright nasty and unprofessional. Still tipped 20% but what a waste of money. read more

I went there Thursday night at 10:50 to celebrate my brother's graduation. We were limited on options because it was late on a Thursday, but didn't think it would be an issue because they closed at 12. We were a small party of 7. The hostess said they didn't have space to seat us even though there were many open tables inside and out. Then said they were doing a last order call in 20 minutes and that we wouldn't be able to make it anyways and turned us away. Very frustrating as when we drove by after eating at another restaurant there was still the serving another party past their closing time. It's been over a year since I've gone to twin peaks. For me, the only time I think of going is when it's super hot outside. And this is because getting a beer anywhere else means it will get warm before I finish it. However, due to twins peaks claim of 29° draft beers they come out pretty darn frosty! Enough food for 2 easily. - I had the sam adams summer ale 22 oz. That thing stayed cold the entire time I drank it. Hallelujah!! - it was busy inside but no wait to sit at the bar area. Cons: - not a true "con" but an observation, it's so hot right now that their sign which states the temp of the beers said 31° instead of the 29° they tout. Two hours wait for my first time trying this place. The music and sports bar sounds were pretty loud, so if you're looking to have a place to chat with your friends, this might not be the place. I wish they did online reservations as I stood in line for 15 mins just to get told it was a 2 hour wait. I placed my number into their tablet, which wasn't very responsive. I had to press pretty hard to even type my phone number in. I did get an initial confirmation text but never got noticed that my table was ready after the 2 hr wait. Perhaps they expand to online reservations or a communication board that tells folks approx wait times....they might learn a few things from Disneyland rides with their expected wait times. While it was a UFC fight night, I guess it's expected for the wait, but I wasn't there for the fight night. Too bad I didn't have a great experience stepping into the restaurant for the first time. read more
