I wish this spot was around pre-2007 when I was a student across the street at CSUF! I would have much rather have had this coffee shop at this location rather than Off-Campus Pub. Stopped by with my wife today, and we both enjoyed the coffee and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the Peanut Butter Latte and she had the Iced Mocha, both very exceptional drinks. We're proud parents of a 7-year-old son who is on the spectrum, and we respect and appreciate the business model of Chase Coffee Roasters, and the great service and coffee by the employees. The interior is warm and inviting, and has a few options for those looking for a nook to work at. The staff are warm and inviting, and sure know how to recommend a coffee that is worth the experience. We have a local coffee shop in our city where we go for the SL. But now we know another spot that makes it just as great and has the right kick of spice. Coffee was yummy! I ordered the pumpkin spice latte with almond milk. It wasn't as sweet as I imagined it would be but I didn't mind. And at the end of the drink there was a bit of the spice at the bottom so just be aware. I also got a bagel with cream cheese, and they were very generous with the cream cheese. This coffee place was nice and cozy. They serve breakfast, pastries, and of course coffee. It seemed like a busy Saturday morning when we visited. From what I could tell, there were two staff members working up front (a lady and a guy), and possibly another person in the kitchen. The woman who took our order was pleasant and friendly. She even double-checked with the kitchen to confirm that the burrito we wanted was available, which I appreciated. We placed our order at 8:52 AM, but our food didn't come out until about 20-25 minutes later. A couple of other customers who were there before us also had to follow up on their orders, and they seemed to be in a rush. One of them, who mentioned they were from out of town, was offered three free drinks, which was nice to see. When our food finally came out, it was packed in a to-go box even though we said it was for dine-in. My wife was pretty hungry, so we opened the burrito--and unfortunately, we found a strand of hair inside the box. I brought it to one of the staff members and let them know. The response I received wasn't very reassuring. Instead of an apology or explanation, I was asked what I wanted them to do--whether I wanted another one or to throw it away. That interaction felt a bit off, especially given the situation. I ended up requesting a refund because I wasn't sure how long a replacement would take or how it would be handled. Overall, the place has a good vibe and friendly service at the start, but the experience during a busy time could definitely be improved--especially when it comes to food quality and handling customer concerns. This place is amazing! And this is coming from someone who loves their coffee and who's often at a loss for words, rarely writing a review. I had the maple pecan latte and it was just to my liking, so smooth and perfectly sweet. My drink came out quickly and my server was courteous. What's more is that this company has heart, giving opportunities to those with disabilities. Good coffee with a good cause! Inside was clean and super modern. This was a nice little spot for a quick breakfast bite. Service was quick and the cafe has plenty of nice seating. I had a vanilla matcha latter with almond milk and it was pretty good, no complaints! I also had the egg toast with avocado, and it was exactly as expected. Delicious, and I really liked the toast (you know it's good when I eat the edges!). I do wish it was a little saltier but I still enjoyed it! My friend had the hummus toast and here are his notes: Good! The toast itself was perfect. It had cucumbers and tasty seasoning and a hint of sweetness as well. I was hoping for the hummus toast be a little more dominant in the flavor profile but it was slightly overpowered which was disappointing. Overall though would recommend. Yum! read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while because I think that their mission is awesome! It used to be Able Coffee Roasters but they rebranded. Located right across from cal state fullerton, it's a perfect place to do work and hang out with friends. There's lots of seating available and it has a really nice vibe inside. It was pretty busy because of an event taking place in the plaza but my drink came out super quick. I ordered their seasonal Spring Matcha Latte and it was great! Good balance of matcha flavor with a hint of strawberry and sweetness. I think it wasn't as sweet as I was expecting because I got it with almond milk, but nonetheless I thought it was really good! I really respect the mission behind this coffee shop and the people who run it. That's why I genuinely tried to be patient and understanding. Unfortunately, the service has been consistently off. On my first visit, I ordered a vanilla latte, but it wasn't sweetened. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to make anyone feel bad. The second time, I ordered an egg sandwich and it came with no eggs lol...just veggies on bread. For the price and the repeated mistakes, it's hard to justify coming back... I recently visited the cafe not too long ago because I noticed it's just across from my school (Cal State Fullerton) and I absolutely LOVEEE what they stand for! I got their Peanut Butter latte with Banana cold foam and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to anyone who is visiting area and/or want something that isn't too sweet. I will say though that they close their kitchen / food options pretty early (at 4PM) so I couldn't get any of their delicacies, but overall, the ambiance was pretty calming and there were multiple seating options for those who want to get their work done there. read more

I tried CCR's Spanish Latte and my husband got the Peanut Butter Latte with Banana Cold Foam - both drinks were so good! Their steak breakfast burrito was one of the best ones I've ever had. The service was also wonderful. We waited about 30 minutes for a breakfast burrito, but that was because they were understaffed and it was a huge Saturday morning rush. To start things off, I hate to be leaving a not-so-good review but I will say that I appreciate and love what this business is known for. I love supporting mom & pop coffee shops especially those that create job opportunities for those with disabilities. It's a great cause but at the end of the day, it is a coffee shop so I'll keep every little detail in mind. I wanted to try a variety of drinks but they were out of matcha for the day when I arrived a little before 2 PM on a Sunday. I decided to order their CCR Cold Foam Latte with oat milk. The foam on top was pretty good but the drink as a whole was not so good. I could not taste any espresso at all. 90% of the drink just tasted like watered down oat milk with a splash of sweetness from the foam. The bottom 10% was just flavored water. I wanted to start off my weekend with a delicious cup of coffee but this drink was not it. Service was okay and I barely waited 2 to 3 minutes for my drink to come out. This seems like a nice studying spot for students. It's very spacious and has seating near the front entrance as well as the back that connects to the parking lot. read more

Very spacious area with plenty of tables and comfy seating. They also have a little souvenir shop in the corner. Unfortunately, their matcha isn't very good. I ordered the regular matcha latte with vanilla sweetener but it didn't taste sweet at all. All I tasted was the matcha and milk. My friend ordered the strawberry matcha and it didn't taste good either. I don't know if I should have asked for more vanilla sweetener, but I think their standard for matcha is really just the non-sweetened version. Food was delicious I highly recommend the turkey sandwich the spicy aïoli really brought all the flavors together. The banana matcha was good but it wasn't the best banana matcha I've had.
