The food here is always great and I have experienced amazing customer service skills from almost every single employee. Chandler is always going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. You can tell he cares about his job. I cannot tell you the same for the employee Jake who seemed very rushed taking my order and perhaps a little rude and impatient with me. His attitude definitely makes me think twice about going to Charleys. So I will give this rating 3 stars because all of the other employees are excellent at multitasking and having friendly attitudes doing so. I came here to have a late lunch with my brother. We order the number 7 large size with a lemonade, and it was excellent. The only thing I didn't like were the French fries were too salty for me, however that is something that can be fix next time by asking the associates to do leas salt. Their food gave me food poisoning. The workers were very nice and professional, but they must have undercooked the chicken sandwich. I called back the day after getting the food poisoning and they were nice enough to give a refund (not even the full amount which but better than nothing) to my fiancé because i was and am still too sick to be up and about. I saw Charley's Grilled Subs one day walking through the mall, and their sandwiches looked amazing in their photos and on their menu. A few week's later I came back to the mall just to give Charley's a try. I had their Philly Cheese Stake. It was pretty good, having great flavors, but it was on the dry side. The cheese and some malt vinegar helped. Moreover, I did feel the sandwich was a little heavy on the bread, it needed more meat. It seems like just about every sandwich shop out there cuts their costs by cutting the protein and filling up their customers on bread. In my opinion, if you are going to charge $8.00 for a sandwich, please don't cut the meat portion. I am curious to see if the mall environment has had a negative affect on Charley's. If I ever see another location, outside of the mall, I will give them a try. As for this location, I will stay way as it isn't worth it to deal with the mall traffic/parking for just an average sandwich. read more

Charleys also have ultimate fries (bacon two kinds of cheese and ranch at $2.99)as another one of their fries choices the prices are great because you can get more food for the same price there is also just simple original fries ($1.99)but don't lower your expectations because there is no delicious topping these are just as great, the warmness of the fries as they went in your mouth made you feel nice and it tastes like real potatoes and they are not hit or miss with how much salt and how floppy your fries are unlike McDonalds,their fries are always soggy unless you get a batch that was the first batch so they where not in a rush or one that "was in to long" they also mess up peoples orders all the time unlike charleys,they always gets your order right and if you get a sandwich one day and then get the same one the next day you will not taste a different maybe you will have a drop more mayo but other than that it is the same. Not only the appetizers are great but so is their large variety of sandwiches and drinks, their classic just Philly cheesesteak(steak, grilled onions, green peppers, mushrooms and white American cheese for $8.39 for a regular size)is great even the simpleness of the classic and what their name is has a great, better then most taste. Has improved a ton since Charley's took over from Great Steak. The food hasn't changed a lot, but the changes that have been made are for the better. I eat here when I'm at the mall, maybe every 3-4 months. Their steak has improved and is more flavorful, the place looks all around cleaner and more efficiently run. Best part? Praise the Lard, the ultra-creepy manager (owner?) guy from Great Steak is finally gone! Their fries are great, and if you're not an East-coast transplant, take a hint and try them with VINEGAR! My mom and I ordered an ultimate fries, 2 chicken Cali's and wanted to make one of them a combo. However, the cashier automatically added the ultimate fries to our combo, even though we wanted the ultimate fries separate, and wanted regular fries included in our combo. I didn't realize it until after we ordered and had our food made, so we went back to have the cashier try and fix it. They made a mistake on their end, and we still somehow ended up paying extra for the fries that we originally wanted included in our combo? I don't understand why we had to pay extra for something that THEY made a mistake on, but whatever. And I've been here before, so I know that at the end, they ask you what other extra topping you would like on your sandwich. The other lady that was making our sandwiches just bagged our up as soon as it was done, and didn't ask what toppings I would like on my sandwich.
