Wow! What a great experience. My boyfriend and I were running late for our 10 AM appointment this morning and we received a phone call not even five minutes after our appointment began. The person on the other end was just checking in if we were going to make it for our appointment. She was so kind and so friendly over the phone and very understanding of us being a few minutes away. When we arrived there were two people at the front desk and they were very polite when checking us in. I really appreciated that considering we were running a few minutes behind. We filled out all of the necessary paperwork and the doctor saw us in a matter of five minutes. The doctor was straight to the point and completed my entire exam in less than 10 minutes. I am grateful for all of the recommendations that she made in regards to my prescription. After I was done with my exam, my boyfriend went in and his exam was equally as quick. We spent about 10 to 15 minutes browsing the different frame options and let me tell you... The selection that they have is remarkable. I typically don't look at brands such as Versace, Prada, Gucci, etc. but I was drawn in by the different styles that they had in the show room. I made the choice to get a one year supply of contacts and my boyfriend made the choice of purchasing Gucci glasses. They looked absolutely stunning! And the ladies at the front desk were so kind to write down product numbers so that I can make my purchase on glasses in the future. An overall incredible experience! Dr Nguyen was so kind and gentle, and didn't rush through my exam (even though I was her very last patient for the day). She also explained each step of the exam which I appreciated. Came here on a recommendation from my wife's co worker and very happy we did. Making appointments are easy and everyone is so very nice to welcome you to their office. Wide selection of frames to choose from and they also help you look for the right pair ;), my head and glasses don't work well for the most part haha but they helped with what I was looking for and found amazing pairs to choose from. Very simple process and they accepted our insurance of VSP so Incase anyone is wondering if they accept that. I'm sure but you never know what is and isn't accepted haha. Doing the exam was no problem at all, everyone is very personable and want to make sure your eyes are supported with the correct prescription. Have had my glasses for about 4 days and happy to put the extras for the lenses to make sure my eyes are protected but blue light, sun (tinting lenses, not the name but you know) anti glare. A lot of what I was missing with my old frames. Will be back this coming year to hopefully see if my eye sight has stabled to looking into laser eye surgery (just laser no cutting) read more

I had never seen an optometrist before and was a little nervous about going. It was super easy to call and schedule, no wait times and I got an appointment the same week. The even took all my insurance information over the phone to make sure I was covered. On the day of my appointment, they made sure to take my temperature and had hand sanitizer as well. I felt that they were taking all the precautions to keep me as well as their staff safe. Dr. Nguyen was kind, patient, and very detailed. She answered all my questions, and helped me feel better about seeing a an optometrist. As it turned out I definitely needed glasses. I had come by myself, the front staff were super helpful in helping me select frames that were good for my face, and were honest about what looked good and didn't. They were good about followup, I got a call a week later saying my glasses were ready and was in and out of there in less than 5 minutes! read more

Been coming here for years and realized I hadn't written a review. Duh. Dr. Nancy Nguyen is AWESOME!!! Super sweet and has exceptional bedside manner, not just for a doctor but for a person who actually seems to care about you. She's good at following up and reading your chart before you get there so you never feel like you're being tossed into a chair then rushed off. Every time I come to have my eyes checked, I have to get them dilated since my prescription is in the double digits. While waiting for the drops to take effect, Dr. Nancy is really good at sitting there with you, asking questions about life and having general conversation, you know, like a human being. She has never just said, "Okay, wait a few minutes for the drops to work. I'll be right back." I hate going to the doctor, the post office, the bank, the gas station, etc., but I look forward to coming here because of the personal attention. The staff is also very friendly and the office and waiting area are kept very clean and organized. The location is in the middle of a fairly small strip at Chapman and Haster with a Shell station on the corner and a fake Irish bar. You have a laundry place and some other nondescript shopping, and Dr. Nancy's suite just says "OPTOMETRY" over the door. It's easy to miss, but once you go, it's hard to forget. I think I first walked in after I moved to the area and found Dr. Nguyen's office. I picked her because I was lazy and didn't want to go too far from home for glasses. Man did I get lucky! It's been maybe six or seven years now and having worn glasses since I was 8 and contacts since I was 14 and having gone through several optometrists, I am so happy I chanced onto this little gem. Dr. Nguyen was very gentle with my eyes. I hate getting the air for my eyes so she used these eye drops instead to check my eye pressure that way. (The air test for eyes are made to check eye pressure). She was very informative and was able to look into my eyes and tell me about the scar that she found in it. I'm so grateful that she took her time with me and explained to me many valuable information about proper eye care that I wasn't aware of. The receptionist Anna was very informative and helped me throughout the whole process (as far back as when I made the appointment with her). I have VSP through my company and she was able to give me a good deal on glasses and Bebe had an extra $40 bonus for VSP members which was an added plus! Definitely will make the drive to come here for my annual check ups. read more

Initially I had a good experience with this optometrist. But when I came back in because my contacts that Dr. Nguyen prescribed me were irritating my eyes and I needed her to change the prescription which specifically stated that I should get the most expensive brand. She refused, even though the prescription wasn't expired she refused stating it was "unethical." Then told me if I payed for another exam(which I didn't need) she could sell me a pair for $75. Also the front office staff was rude and dismissive. I work for a major corporation as a salesman. I see all types businesses every day. This place just doesn't cut it. Be aware that this optometrist just wants to make money off of you and not help you. I was disappointed and upset at this experience and I hope none of you have to go through it. What a good choice I did by coming here. The Dr was just great and patience and very helpful. Answer all my questions with no rush. I took a test at Costco and was not very satisfied with it so I never got the prescription. I had no Appointment and still walk out of there in less than 30 min.
