Wonderfully helpful and polite staff. The optometrist will go in detail how to care of lens use during eye exam. Front office calculated expenses for me for different quantities/brands to compare contact lens prices which was a plus. Nice selection of glasses ranging from RayBan to Coach. I enjoy that you can walk around the store and try glasses on without having to ask the front to try every pair. Thank you for the smooth and easy appointment! read more

I have been coming to this Optometrist for more than 10 years and have never had a negative experience. However, I went in today and asked to PURCHASE contacts and was told I could not PAY FOR MY prescription..... my contacts still work so I know my prescription is fine. The Doctors are amazing people but the receptionist ERICA is unprofessional and super slow with questions. All I can say is she lost this location a Paying Patient. I was asking her questions and she was yawning so much it was as if I was boring her, the customer service was so terrible. Everyone has their days but I know customer service should be top when speaking to patients not yawning and giving mid service. She proceeded to tell me I could go in at 4pm she has a family going but if they show up she can't take me in.... It was confusing and frustrating. Wont be coming again ever... I went to a new place and paid for my contact exam and my contact lenses. read more

Dr. Mel is the best optometrist ever! Thank you for being so informative and attentive to our eye health and care. Everyone at POG is always so helpful and their office is so cute. Another great visit in the books, see you guys next year! read more

Doctor & staff are friendly, very easy. Only thing is buying online directly would be cheaper but I ordered through them because they gave me so many samples of the monthly contacts + their CS is great. Felt weird to ask them for prescription and then go order somewhere else. Had to get a new Optometrist since I moved, glad after sifting through lots - this is close and well rated, I can affirm the same experiences. read more

Dr Zhao and her staff were great! My mother has dementia and her speech and communication is limited, but both Dr. Zhao and her staff were so patient and helpful with her. My mother can't communicate if her eyes are bothering her but I have noticed her rub her eyes more. Dr. Zhao was able to determine she has dry eyes, she showed me and explain what she looks for when looking at the eyes to determine that. I highly recommend this location for your eye exam and glasses needs. They have a large selection of glasses to choose from. read more

Great experience here. Front staff was friendly and explained all the options for glasses through our insurance. The office is also well-equipped with modern equipment that I've not seen at other optometry offices. No more air puff test? Thank you! Dr. Zhao is caring, patient, and explained the conditions I had in detail and what we could do to make it better. This was the best eye exam I've ever had. Thank you guys for a great experence read more

I love Pacific Optometry Group! Ever since moving to Orange County it's been tough looking for a new Optometrist I can trust but this place completely worked out for me. My optometrist was Dr. Zhao and she was the sweetest person ever and extremely professional. Apparently my last prescription was a bit over powered and she went the extra mile to make sure I had the most comfortable prescription for my eyes Dr. Zhao was completely up front and transparent on what the facility provides in terms of pricing, retinal scanning services, and informing me what each machine does. It's nice to know that all the equipment being used here is the newest/most updated technology so we can get the most accurate readings for our eyes. All staff are very friendly and the facility is extremely clean as they take Covid measures very seriously. They took my insurance which was anthem blue cross and explained to me all of my benefits. This group is really transparent and if you have any questions you should reach out. There were no hidden fees and no surprises. Thank you Dr. Zhao and team! read more

I have my new optometry place! I used to travel all the way to Tustin but trying to get to my old place started to become a pain. I tried even going to Costco but that didn't work out. I was on my last pair of contacts and decided to try to get my yearly exam. I checked the VSP website and stumbled upon this place (right down the street from our house). I had passed the building multiple times. The exterior is plain but coming inside it's a nice/clean place. Everyone was very nice and the optometrist that saw me was really thorough and even discussed some improved cleaning methods for my contacts (I never knew to rub them). Overall, I had a really great experience and will definitely be back. read more

I love coming to Pacific Optometry! Everyone from the staff to Dr. Park is always so warm and welcoming. They always make you feel comfortable when examining our vision. I also like the fact that they check the health of my eye as well. There's a history of glaucoma in our family, so it's important that they offer this service! I do have my optometrist but however my ins change and can't go back to my optometrist this year. Went to this place bc they take my insurance, after exam the staff came out with an estimate price way over quoted me. Way overpriced, I rather wait until next year to change my ins back to my old provider. Sorry, the place is nice but the prices are way crazy. I would not come back. read more

I found this nifty place on Yelp and could not be any more ecstatic about my eye appointments. The best thing about having to go to any doctor's appointment is actually wanting to be there. The staff is quite friendly and Dr. Park is one cool lady. Dr. Park is very proactive and cheerful to be around. In addition, she is very helpful and insightful of your eye needs. While offering an abundance of recommendations, I ultimately picked the glasses of my choice. When I went to pick up my glasses Dr. Park made sure the glasses fit comfortably and that I was satisfied before I left the office. The office has ample parking spaces in the early morning or in the late afternoon. As those were the times I had visited the office. The interior of the office was nicely lit and well kept. Very clean and inviting. I am glad I chose to pay this business a visit. They just earned another loyal customer. read more

I found pacific optometry group on yelp and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. They have excellent covid protocols, most of important of which is that only one patient is allowed in the office at one time. It makes the whole experience feel safe and personal. Dr. Zhao was patient in answering all my questions and did her best to make sure I was comfortable with my glasses and contact lens prescription. The office also has a nice selection of glasses and the front end staff helped me choose the best one. All-in-all a great experience and I will be returning next year. read more

I've been going to a different optometrist every year, trying to find someone who will help me with my dry eye issues. Dr. Zhao was very thorough in explaining why I was having these issues and she gave me a treatment plan (something other than store-bought eye drops) and it has been working out well! She also suggested switching to a different contact lens brand, I think, to something that is more breathable for my eyes. My eyes have never felt better. The rest of the staff is so sweet and helpful when picking out glasses. They are following COVID precautions very well and I felt very safe throughout the entire exam (this was one of my first doctor appointments since the pandemic started). Thank you for wonderful experience. read more

I love coming here. Been going here for about a couple years now. I used to switch optometrists every time I need new set of contacts because I don't like the places I go to but I finally found a place that I love and will be coming to for years. They have a pretty good selection on frames and sunglasses. Prices are VERY reasonable and some times they have trunk specials too! Their cash prices are very reasonable compared to other places and cheaper than Costco! With their super friendly and helpful staff and great prices, what more can you ask for?? Make sure you set up an appointment since this place can get busy. The place itself is very clean and organized. I would totally recommend this place to all my friends and family. Most of them already know about this place and have been going. If you are looking for a new optometrist, give them a try. You might love them like me! P.S. they take insurance too of course. read more

I've had bad sight for nearly 11 years and counting and I've had plenty of financial problems, so I was always switching up my Optometrists. I've been to several and THIS PLACE was probably the FIRST TO BE EXTREMELY NICE AND FUNNY. When we first walked in, we were welcomed and assisted without having to wait forever. I was new at the time, so I had to fill out those papers regarding your eye/health history. After I finished, all I had to do was wait 3 minutes and I was already in the eye exam room! This location is very professional and very informative. They were helpful in picking out the frames I wanted and negotiating the price, which is good for someone who has a huge financial problem. I really like this place and I can't wait to go back! read more

For the first time in my 60 years I wanted to get my eyes checked. I picked Pacific Optometry because Dr Soltes, the co-founder, gave his life in service to our country. I wanted to honor his memory. Very glad I did. I saw Dr. Dang and she was professional and patient with me. I had 60 yrs worth of questions and she answered them all with a smile. I ended up with glasses that were affordable, stylish and allow me to see! The customer service here is fantastic. Jenny runs the front desk and is a doll. Ever helpful and reassuring. I've been in many times to get the glasses fitted to my irregular face and can't say enough about the service I get. Highest recommendation. This is how a business is supposed to be run. read more

It was my first time getting an eye exam and I had a GREAT experience with Pacific Optometry Group! The staff is very friendly and welcoming! I was accommodated very quickly the moment I arrived. Genna briefed me in everything that I needed to know before the doctor saw me. As I was waiting, I was allowed to try on as many frames as I wanted. They made me feel comfortable and didn't judge me for taking my time (or for liking so many frames)! They even helped me decide on my very first one! :) Dr. Park is very kind, patient, professional, and knowledgable. She explained everything with clarity to the point where I didn't have any questions by the end of the visit. Overall, the staff is phenomenal and I'm beyond satisfied.
