Competitive business can always do better....service vs cost. I have worn glasses and/or contacts majority of my life. Moved from Midwest to Garden Grove. Discovered that POG is not in-network to Davis Vision. POG charged crazy amount for first time customer.....had to pay out of pocket and submit for reimbursement. Painful discovered that Davis Vision does NOT cover contact lens exam......all my other DR's must just covered under eye exam. Ask the POG to send me a confirmation vis email....since I would be out of town; never sent email. When I went into POG to pick up new contacts to lady cracked open (not issue since Covid-19), just said 'here,' gave me the boxes.....NO bag of lens cap, solutions....NO welcome bag. In my world, that is BAD service for the cost I paid. If the SERVICE was a kick ass "kissing my ass," SERVICE the COST is secondary. Lost a NEW customer. Time to look into YELP for new EYE Dr for 2022. read more

This was my first time going to an optometrist I was referred by my co worker. When I called to schedule an appointment Dr Parker was the one who picked up the phone and scheduled my appointment. I was there today for my first time and I was greeted very nicely by two ladies in the front I got my exam done and Dr Parker answered all my questions and gave me so much information about my eyes and how to take of them. Okay, so I'm probably one of those patients that doctors hate or talk crap about because 1) I'm always asking if I'm going to lose my vision and 2) I can't ever decide which slide is clearer, except for maybe the first two slides and after that, I go back and forth a lot between slides and in the end, I still feel confused. Despite all that mess, this optometrist clinic was the nicest in terms of providing me with confident, thorough explanations to all my paranoid questions and remaining patient with me throughout my indecisiveness through the slides so I didn't feel rushed, but encouraging enough to get me through the exam. Dr. Zhao really helped me understand why my eyes were feeling a certain way and helped me find contacts that worked well for me (I have really bad astigmatism and dry eyes). Also, I'm not sure if it's due to my astigmatism but optometrists always have a hard time figuring out my exact prescription so I usually live with a little less than clear vision when I wear my contacts but I think Dr. Zhao got my prescription right! At long last! I can see pretty clearly now with my contacts on. I'm glad to have found this place and Dr. Zhao. If you want an attentive, understanding, and competent optometrist, go here. read more

I've been going to my doctor in Fountain Valley for the last 8 years but every time I go, I was being charged an extra fee for miscellaneous things which I had eyeMed insurance. A friend referred me to Dr. Tracy Park. So I made an appointment which the front desk Ruby was super friendly and didn't force you to do different test if you didn't want too. Dr. Tracy took her time to be sure I got the correct prescription, answered any question I had. I didn't feel I was getting shoved out of the office to take on another patient. I haven't changed my eyeglasses for 7 years only got contacts. Ruby explained to me how my insurance works which was great. Helped me pick out the perfect pair that fit my Asian nose, it was a bit pricey and Dr. Tracy knew that I loved it and worked out a discount for me which was awesome. I have no complaints about the service from the doctor, however lately the front staff females had been rude when questions had been asked. They advised me were busy and needed to call me back, they never did. I called again and said still busy with customers and needed to call me again, like I Was not a customer of theirs. I went in person to the office, after I was given insurance information and then it happened it was the wrong information given.
