Just a great private facility. I needed a location to store my stuff while I was in transition and the staff was super friendly, the property and the units are VERY clean and the hours are great. I personally like the fact that to enter the facility end at 7PM . It gives me peace of mind that there are not shenanigans going on after hours. This place is reasonably priced at first, but they end up upping the rent beyond what anyone else charges, and if you need it for a few more days they charge over 2/3 the monthly rent. They are crooks plain and simple, and like I said it might be reasonable at first but stay far away from this place so you don't get taken advantage of. read more

Be careful, staff is excellent and kind. That being said, the place is rat infested and I had many items damaged and furniture damaged. The rats are able to climb the walls and over into the Next storage facility. My belongings were there for six months and the Rats nest In areas that are not seen until you move your stuff out. I had to place many extra rat traps and caught at least three or four while my belongings were there.. Be careful. read more

This place was super friendly. Had a deal going where I got my unit for half of what the surrounding competition was charging. My indoor unit is climate control so it was nice to feel the ac when I was working up a sweat moving. Also very clean and they provide carts to help move many boxes at once so you don't have to walk back and forth. read more

Lesson learned. This place since I been here and nearly doubled my rent and now require additional rental insurance. I called ahead in the past and asked them that I was on my way out and was told that won't be an issue and that they would pro rate me. I came In today and asked about closing my unit and they told me they had to charge me the full rate and I'm leaving 3 weeks early till the end of the month. This is my second rental unit closer to home has only increased my rent 10 and no new rental insurance agreement. I would just be in my toes if u must deal with these guys. If they tell u something get it on paper cause I was told prorated when I leave and that isn't happening. All in all I would go down the street. The reviews at this storage is also consistent but at the time it was the closes unit to me. Be very careful they are sneaky. read more

My daughter took care of the logistics and Chaparral staff was very helpful and friendly. The staff went above and beyond to make the transition seamless. When I got my storage unit with them I specifically told them it would only be for two months and we would be out by the end of January. I called in right after a Christmas and asked them if I move out before the end of the month of Aden ever if we would be charged for January. The guy I spoke to said no as long as you are out before the 4th. I said ok we will try to be out by the 4th but if not this will be our last month. Well we didn't get out by the 4th and so I paid my full bill for January on the 9th when I got a notice it was late after the 5th I think. I thought we had 10 days to pay the bill so not sure about that but either way we paid it. My husband finally moved the rest of our things out yesterday and we expected a pro ration for the remainder of the month. It was suppose to be a credit of 65.00 for overpayment. I emailed the office and spoke to Ann and she said they did not get my notice and they are sorry they could not prorate. I explained to her I called in at the end of December to let them know January was definitely my move out month and I also spoke to Ann on the 9th when I paid January to let her know it was indeed my last month and their excuse is sorry we don't have a record and no one wrote it down. I feel that because I called in they knew they could get away with overcharging us because they have no real documentation. My verbal letting them know we wanted out in January was not good enough. I will never use them again. They were not willing to accommodate us and blamed us because they did not document their file. Lesson learned I guess. Just another way these places scam you. read more
