    Stumbled upon this local neighborhood haunt on a late Friday night and my husband and I had to just wait about 15 minutes. The ambience is old school and the service is probably the friendliest I've encountered at a steakhouse establishment. Everything from the flavored olive oil and bread to our porterhouse for two was delicious and super tasty. I even asked for a bit of fried onions on the side to accompany our steak since I thought I'd miss out if I didn't top it with even more calories. All in all, a stellar experience. Oh, and the baked clams were a tasty app too!

    My best friend's intimate birthday celebration was made even more special by the staff at Chadwick's. You'll feel like you're in nona's dining room in the back and your uncle's social club in the front bar. Everyone greets you like they've known you for generations. Everything we ate was outstanding - the Red Snapper special is a must try as is their Duck Parpadelle. They didn't have to comp our dessert, but it's the kind of gesture that leaves you feeling like family.

    After a long period away we returned to Chadwick's with friends for dinner. I am glad to report that Chadwick's continues its long record of beautifully prepared and presented food, excellent service (thank you Danielle for taking good care of us) in an upscale, but approachable, environment. I enjoyed my braised beef spring rolls, but the star of my dinner was the rack of lamb - perfectly medium-rare, as requested, juicy and delicious without the need of added sauces. Fellow diners enjoyed the perfectly prepared beef Wellington special and a delicious steak. Desert included a simple rice pudding served in an edible tuille bowl and moist, moderately sweet bread pudding with a vanilla sauce. Chadwick's never disappoints. It consistently delivers excellent food and friendly, knowledgeable service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

    The nor'easter that the weather forecasters had predicted wasn't enough to deter us from our plans to dine at Chadwick's. Pork chop was amazing but the ribeye stole the show. Spring rolls were divine. Solid Guinness pour and a great Manhattan at the bar before dinner. I also thought it was super affordable and reasonably priced.

    We went to Chadwick's for Valentine's dinner. We were warmly greeted and sat at a table by the cozy fireplace for an added romantic touch. I loved that the ambience was warm and the noise level low. We were presented with '' Valentine special menu'' and delighted with the great selections to choose from. We ordered martinis with our staters of Maryland crab cakes and tuna tartar. Then we shared a bottle of exquisite Brunello to pair with delicious duck confit, sweet potato mash and carrots and steak au poivre, black truffle mash and aspargus. The deserts were just as wonderful to end our meal. Our server Jonathan was very attentive. Even the owner Steven checked on us to insure everything was to our liking. As an épicurien with discriminating taste, I could not be more pleased with my date's choice of restaurant to spend our special evening. I highly recommend this gem on 3rd Avenue. Bon appetit!

    We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary by having dinner at Chadwick's. I've find Chadwick's to be very romantic and the ambiance. The waiter who took care of us was excellent and knowledgeable. He answered our questions and we were able to choose our meal and desserts. The food was amazing and mouth watering to the last bite!

    I came in for a dinner hosted by a law firm promoting their Estate planning services. The waiters for the event were amazing and attentive considering that the catered event was a large group. We had a bruschetta appetizer served family style. It was delicious and fun to eat. The light and crisp bread with the ripe seasoned tomatoes and cheese was simple yet satisfying. The second plate was a deceptively simple penne pasta with a wonderfully flavorful sauce. We had a choice of salmon, pork chop or chicken franchise. I ordered the salmon and it was so good I forgot to take a picture before devouring it. The salmon was cooked perfectly, moist, tender and fresh! There was even cheesecake for dessert. Chadwick's did a great job serving as a venue for the event with their top-notch service and excellent food!

    Excellent place. Family and I had dinner last night to celebrate my turning 60. I live a sheltered life. Lived in Bay Ridge my whole life and have never been to Chadwick's. The waiters were friendly and helpful. Fancy vibes. Picture I attached is the 20 oz T Bone. Don't judge. I don't photograph for GQ. Friends recommended I try Chadwick's for steak and avoid Milones Chophouse aka Embers. I look forward to returning.

They have pretty large tables, suitable for parties and celebrations. There's a private space upstairs with 3 large tables for parties. The restaurant is pretty slow in the afternoon.

It was late afternoon so we opened the Happy Hour menu and it was surprisingly comprehensive. There were cocktails and specialty drinks all discounted for happy hour and a surprisingly large happy hour food menu. The cocktails were excellent (be sure to order a Crystal if you enjoy gin, or an espresso martini which my wife said was excellent) and we ordered Guacamole and chips and oysters which were à la carte and very reasonably priced. My wife doesn't care for oysters so I just ordered a couple for myself. They were beautifully presented on a bed of ice with a fresh lemon, a fresh spicy green mixture instead of horse radish and a sweet but spicy hot sauce. They were wonderful. The guacamole came with home made chips that were thick and well done so they held up to the guac very well. The guac was delicious and a bit chunkier than other places but the texture was wonderful with the thicker chips. For an entree, we chose Chuzos, skewered and grilled chunks of meat (chicken for my wife and NY Strip Steak for me) marinated and grilled to perfection. Both entrees came with large kernel corn which I had never tried before and yuca croquettes, also my first time. The corn was delicious but the kernels were a bit more like beans rather than the corn kernels you might be used to. The yuca croquettes were delicious and probably indistinguishable from potato croquettes in case you are worried you may not enjoy yuca. We actually finished neither entree and the kitchen packed our leftovers carefully for today's lunch (there was PLENTY left over). There was a nice dessert menu but we'll save that for another time. I cannot say enough good things about Bar Chuzo. The staff was friendly and attentive but not hovering or rushing. The food and cocktails were excellently prepared, reasonably priced but not cheap and the dining rooms were beautifully decorated. I will DEFINITELY be back to Bar Chuzo and if you haven't been, I urge you to check them out. You will not be disappointed.

The staff was nice enough to remove the dish from our bill so we really appreciated that. Caesar salad and fried calamari were good and all the other sides like the truffle mac and cheese and creamed spinach were good as well. Overall, nice ambiance and attentive staff, but some dishes are hit or miss. I would definitely come back just for the Chilean Sea Bass risotto!

The AYCE menu includes a variety of items including appetizers (broccoli, calamari, corn, iron steak, crab rangoon, clam chowder, fried rice, garlic noodles, chicken wings, spareribs, general Tso's chicken, spring rolls, edamame, french fries, and more) and main seafood entrees (steamed or hand breaded shrimp, blue crab, dungeness crab, snow crab legs, crawfish, salmon, seabass, mussels, steamed clams, raw oysters and clams, and more). The items I would recommend the most are iron steak, crab rangoon, blue crab, snow crab legs, and crawfish. The seafood is fresh, and if you love seafood, this AYCE meal is a good value for the variety and amount you get. There is no limit to how much you can order at a time; you can order as many rounds as you'd like. Service: Service is excellent here; staff are friendly and very attentive. They come to check on you throughout the meal and clear empty dishes. Food comes out very quickly after you place an order. The staff are also nice about giving you another menu to place another order. They are generous with their portions and food unlike other AYCE places that seem to not want you to order as much. Ambiance: The restaurant is big and spacious; seating is comfortable. There are tables and booths that can accommodate both small and large groups. The restaurant is kept clean, and the decor is very nice. During the warmer months, there's outdoor seating in Mongolian-style tents on the patio that overlooks Surf Avenue and Luna Park. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant if you like seafood!
