Originally came here just to get old mercury filings removed safely using the S.M.A.R.T process, and left as a patient. The staff are all very nice and professional and explain everything to you. I love that the practice is naturally-minded, using essential oils, toxic-free cleaning products, and toxic free personal products (mouthwash). I had the best dentist experience ever here!! Was definitely hesitant because I usually get a anxiety just thinking about teeth pain. However literally everyone helped me feel so welcomed! I was greeted in by David, then Andi came and welcomed me and showed me around a little. For my first visit, Andi and I talked lots about my teeth, anxiety and overall dental care. She made me feel sooo comfortable and helped me relax! I love how she explained the type of safe products they use and using the lowest settings for the x-rays. And generally figuring out things that I'm comfortable with (: After talking, I took some x-rays and pictures of my mouth with Crystal! She's awesome!! The pictures were great but hard to look at because my teeth looked so gross. Then Dr. Chad came and explained my x-ray pictures. He made it easy to understand and explained in depth of what's going on in my mouth. Very professional and fun !! Today I had a good experience at the dentist. Yep I typed that right, at the dentist. I found the whole experience to be pleasant and though I did not have anything done today, I didn't feel like I was being sold something nor did I feel like I was being bombarded with "all the things wrong" with my teeth without any explanation. I was actually 13 min late to my consultation but Bianca was understanding and so nice, I wish more people working a front desk was as nice. I then met Lenora(dental assistant), and she was also very nice, I noticed I felt comfortable there, and the appointment didn't feel rushed. Lastly I met Dr. Chad who was not only kind but thorough... and funny. He explained everything and also answered my questions and where I didn't quite follow initially Lenora stepped in to break it to me in lament terms. Overall I am glad I decided to get a second opinion and found this office after doing my research. You make it sound like sunshine and rainbows when in reality your office manager was less than pleasant. She was getting my treatments pre-authorized after the last debacle. However, She cancelled my wife's appointment without discussion. Her attitude when contacted was less than accommodating. Her words were "It's a big hassle to separate accounts". So because of it we chose to find a friendlier front office. As I said, your front office said I was paid up. If I can't trust that information, I see no reason to continue. I just got back from Dr. Tomazin's office and if I could give a 10 star rating instead of 5 stars I would. I have a lot of Anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. A couple months ago I went and had a consultation with Dr. Tomazin and today was my procedure. Everything was absolutely perfect. He put me to sleep and performed all of the procedures on my teeth that I needed. When I woke up everything was done, I felt perfect, no anxiety, no pain. He is a wonderful dentist, very caring and down to earth and both him and his staff are wonderful. I can actually say I look forward to going back if I ever need any more work. Hi, Jennifer. I do remember you. You are in the 2nd (or 3rd) cubicle on the left side of the waiting area (as you're facing the rear of the building). I am glad you responded as it brought to mind something I forgot to mention. After I received a crown from you I visited another dentist and found out there was an abscess above the new crown at the tip of the root. I explained to the dentist that this crown was brand new! I had just gotten it from your office. They explained that "sorry, but there's an abscess at the top of it and that's why it still hurts". The solution, with their creative thinking, was to drill a small hole through the new crown I had just paid you for to get rid of the abscess. Alas...pain was alleviated. As far as the root canal...you did refer me to an endodontist. More money spent for nothing. read more

I waited for about 2 months for my first appointment and was the first one in the door at 7:50 am today for an 8 am appointment and then a short time later three women followed. All three women were called first so I left. I'd probably still be waiting there. What a total waste of time and disappointment. And the secretary gives me this excuse they're short handed. I have been a patient for few years and was happy with service until dr chad took over the practice, that's when I started getting higher than normal out of pocket expenses for same cleaning or x rays. I have also noticed that dr chad recommends expensive procedures and treatments compared to other dentists. I recently received a cleaning which my insurance pays for, but Dr chad fees were so high that they charged me 52 dollars out of pocket. When I called and complain about it, they were like there is nothing we could do, and they were ready to close my account and had no problem that I go to a different dentist. I decided that I no longer want to go back there. I am a business person, and I can't afford to lose customers in this manner, I always find ways to make them happy. Bottom line, I miss dr Kim, and his dental hygienist Brenda, I wished that dr chad offered the same level of service. read more

The process of safe metal filling removal was explained to me throughly and I felt confident in the dentist's experience. After each safe metal filling removal and non metal replacement was finished, I had no discomfort. I am kicking myself for not getting in to see Dr. Tomazin sooner!! Ditto what a previous reviewer said... I have severe dental phobia. My fears of dental work caused me to neglect seeing a dentist for (I'm embarrassed to say...) 8 years. I had been searching for a biological dentist for over a year, reading reviews, hemming and hawing over which one to choose, when a decayed tooth and excruciating pain prompted me to finally make an appointment with Dr. Tomazin. Andi, the Patient Care Coordinator, took my call and completely put me at ease, saying, "There is no dental shaming or judging in this office." At my appointment I wanted to look at the health of my entire mouth and come up with a comprehensive plan. Dr. Tomazin took his time with me and explained everything. He is conservative and strategic in his assessment, as in, he did not recommend unnecessary work or procedures. He informed me the decayed tooth needed to be extracted (I knew I waited too long) and referred me to Dr. Jong, Oral Surgeon. An impression was taken of my tooth so a flipper could be made. The work on my mouth has been broken up into 3-4 appointments, including deep cleaning. I needed 2 crowns (which they make in the office - same visit!!) and all my mercury fillings removed and replaced with safe materials. The reason I'm writing this review (my first Yelp review ever) is because I had my first appointment 2 days ago with actual work being done. I was told it would be a 3 hour appointment to complete the left side of my mouth (top and bottom) and was very nervous. I was given a Valium, which helped. But, what was especially calming is Dr. Tomazin's "chair-side" manner. He was incredibly calm, reassuring, and kind. He explained everything and answered my incessant questions without a hint of irritation. I felt totally safe in his hands. His precision and patience gave me an amazing result. My teeth fit perfectly (top fitting bottom) and he matched the color of my crown to the rest of my teeth perfectly. When we have to get dental work he is so gentle that my kids don't even know they are getting an injection. I have had so much dental work and dental anxiety in the past.
