After a terrible experience with my previous dentist (who had merged with another office focused only on upselling expensive, financed dental plans), I was so relieved and incredibly grateful to find Dr. Harris. As someone who is disabled, I often worry about accessibility and whether a provider will be patient and kind. Dr. Harris's office blew me away with their compassion and care. The dental hygienist and techs went above and beyond to help me safely transfer to the dental chair, and one of the techs even walked me out to the parking lot and helped while I was loading my scooter into the car. When Dr. Harris took over the practice from Dr. Muller, I was confident he'd be wonderful as Dr. Muller loved his patients so much, he wouldn't sell to just any dentist. Had an appointment at 12. The receptionist Talia texts me at 11 saying there's was a cancellation and asked if i could come in earlier, i said yes i'll be on my way soon. As soon as i get to the office, 11:20, she tells me somebody else has stepped in for the appointment. So i'm sat there waiting an entire 40 minutes just to get seen after 12. What a waste of time. After a dissatisfied appointment at another dentistry in town, I decided to try Dr. Mark Harris whom a friend of mine recommended. Boy was I happy with my choice. Dr. Harris seems like a nice guy who is happy with what he does for a living. His little dental office is very clean, organized, and homie. The waiting area has bottled water and hot beverage for patients to enjoy. Staff at the reception desk was friendly and checked me in quickly. You can tell Dr. Harris is into photography and not too bad at it so there are framed pictures he took hanging everywhere in the office. In fact, he takes patiences photo to include in their files. I thought that was interesting. Dr. Harris did my dental exam and was very thorough and patient. I was pretty impressed by the amount of time and attention I was given as a patient. He was kinda funny too so that deff helped with the unease some might experience with a dentist. I have never been afraid of dental visits but would certainly appreciate a good sense of humor. The hygienist Jacquelyn was awesome, too! She was so nice, personable, and did an awesome job cleaning my teeth. She also told me that Dr. Harris regularly organizes hiking trips for patients and invited me to an upcoming hiking trip. How neat! The best part is that they have a Yelp check-in offer for a teeth whitening kit that is worth over $50. I checked in on Yelp as always and was given the complimentary whitening kit, woot! They have a bell near the reception desk and a sign says "If you revived exceptional service today, please ring the bell for our team." And I had to ring the bell! Even though I only went to Dr. Harris' dental office twice, I was quite happy with everything. I wish I could come back but I relocated to the Bay Area recently. The worst doctor in 3 states! I have lived in 3 states and never had such a bad experience with a dentist. I saw all the good reviews on Dr. Harris' office on the Nextdoor app and believed them. I became his patient in 2022 and did 2 cleanings with his hygienists. Got a referral to an endodontist about a sensitive crown and liked Dr. Harris approach and the endodontist. However, Dr. Harris never did any procedures on my teeth until Nov 2023, when a tooth chip was found on my lower molar and I needed tooth filling. He was pushing for a crown and I refused it. He agreed to fill the tooth instead of putting a crown. First of all, his method of anesthetic injection for the molar (tooth No. 18 I think) was very problematic. He injected the anesthetics near my TMJ (instead of near the actual tooth) which was not effective. Had to get another injection cause I was feeling the drill and because of that, my whole face was numb for the hours after the visit. He filled the tooth so bad that he left a sharp edge on one side and also left a large gap between that tooth and rear so that the gap started trapping large food pieces. Called the office 1-2 days later and they scheduled another visit. Instead of admitting his sloppy job, he came to the room and started blaming me by saying that "I tooold you that you need a crown!". When tried to show a photo of the piece of food trapped between my teeth, he immediately turned his head cringed and said: "Don't show me a photo of trapped food". In my mind, I was like, "Aren't you a dentist?". This time, he spend more time on the tooth and fixed the problem. But guess what, when it came to adjusting the bite, he did it so quickly and ran out of the room, assuming that everything is OK. I asked his assistant to give me more time to check the tooth and make sure the bite is OK. After testing my bite a little bit more, I realized that I feel more pressure on the left side where the new tooth filling happened. So the assistant had to bring him back to the room again to re-adjust the bite. He came back very unwillingly as it was something that he was forced to do. I was so mad at him for the way he treated me and all the procedures he performed on my body, from the injection to bite adjustments. Stay away! read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Harris since 2015 so my review is long overdue! I see Jacquelyn for my schedule cleanings and Dr. Harris when necessary and every time I go in for a cleaning Jacquelyn is always so so gracious, knowledgeable, and professional. It is very apparent that she loves what she does and really cares about her patients. She always explains what she is doing and the importance behind it. Also, she is so gentle and does a really good job. Jacquelyn helped prepped my teeth for my wedding day as well AND I got a complimentary polishing done so my teeth were extra white for my big day! Dr. Harris' office is all about promoting good oral health along with educating their patients; hence, he is often does some really awesome giveaways to further that mission. I have been a patient of Dr. Harris' for four years now. First, it started out with just the regular twice yearly visits, then, after speaking at length with him, I decided on Invisalign to straighten to my teeth. Not only was he knowledgeable and answered all my questions, but he was very informative at every step of the way. He has also been my 6 years old son's dentist for the past two years. Every time we have our visits, the staff is very friendly and always make you feel comfortable. Dr. Harris is great at explaining things thoroughly and makes the experience an enjoyable one. Horrible customer service!!! The the only service I received from this place was just X-rays and a referral to orthodontist. At the this place Dr. said he need it to remove my tooth just by looking at my X-rays , I told him my tooth was not loose or I had any pain he said I was lucky and I should do it soon before to the upcoming holidays And it was going cost over$2000 and my insurance was only going cover $700. I spoke to other patients they said they had the same experience at this place. Got a text with a second appointment to see Dr. Harris at that appointment Dr. Harris got upset for not doing my treatment that day and for requesting a deep cleaning instead. Dr. Harris did not acknowledge my concerns or my requests. Instead he told me we needed to part ways and I should find another dentist. I'm almost in my 50s have all my teeth including all my wisdom teeth. Sorry Dr. Harris but maybe you're right I do need a second opinion from a professional Dentist that is going to listen and take in consideration my concerns! read more

Here's the thing: If you grow up in a low income environment, with terrifying Navy dentistry for your first 18 years, and then, years later, a super expensive dentist drills a hole in your tongue, you're going to have some feelings about the dentist. It's nothing to be proud of, and I didn't enjoy filling out that invasively personal dental history about my tendency to panic in the chair. The problem is, I shouldn't have bothered explaining anything, because Dr. Harris doesn't treat nervous patients. No one told me that, and I didn't catch on until it was too late for me and my trauma levels. Although Dr. Harris did not drill a hole in my tongue (good) I was terrified he would, because of the water hitting my gag reflex (how it happened last time) and his DA openly zoning (bad day/long day, I don't judge, I panic) the entire time. I despise the dentist. I'm terrified. I had 5 bad dentists all liars. When I came to Dr. Harris' office I was skeptical..just like the rest attitude. I'm comfortable going to him after I had an abscessed tooth extracted. It was a 90 minute procedure and he talked me through the whole thing which helped me a lot. No one likes finding a new dentist, especially if you haven't been to the dentist in a few years. With that being said, I consider myself pretty lucky to find one like this on the first try. In my experience, finding a new dentist can be a crap shoot. All of the receptionists I encountered each time that I have been there have been very nice, cordial and thorough in their explanations, both in person and on the phone. I had to see the dental hygienist three separate times, and each time, I saw a different one. Each one was unique in their own way, but every one was elegant in their 'bedside manner'. They asked questions, conversed well, yet perfectly toed the line between not talking enough, and talking too much. I mean, I can't assume too many people like questions with instruments in their mouths, so I have to assume that there is sort an art form to timing questions other than yes/no ones, and all of these hygienists adequately had it. Dr. Harris, himself, gives off a positive vibe in the way he presents himself. He seems to be a stand up, shake your hand each time he meets you kind of guy. He was thorough and well spoken in his explanations about the plans and procedures. He was delicate, yet effective and efficient in both timing and manner. Office is kind of small, but gives off a clean impression. But let's be real here, I'm not there to stretch my legs and relax, I'm there to get my teeth cleaned and fixed, and in all honesty, given the exceptional nature of the staff and Dr., I would continue to visit this company if they were operating out of a seedy motel room. Oh and there is a treasure chest, which I presume is for kids, and I'm an adult....but maybe the inner child in me wants a treasure, or at least to look....the suspense is overwhelming. read more
