Despite the challenge, Dr. Nouri remained patient, focused, and determined throughout the entire process, which took about two hours. During the procedure, she consistently checked on me to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. Her care and attention truly made a difference. She did an amazing job getting a very stubborn tooth out, and I felt such relief once it was finally completed. Her assistant was also incredibly supportive and comforting, working seamlessly alongside Dr. Nouri the entire time. After the procedure, I was sent home with antibiotics and pain relief medication, along with clear instructions. At my follow-up appointment, Dr. Nouri carefully checked my healing, smoothed out part of the bone graft area, and made sure everything was progressing well. She took the time to explain everything in detail and genuinely cared about how I was feeling. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. They even found a charm that had fallen off in the chair and kindly texted me to ask if it was mine, letting me know they would safely hold onto it for me. That level of thoughtfulness meant a lot. I came here a little over year ago to find relief for an unbearable toothache (which resulted in me getting a root canal and crown) that my regular dentist could not help me with and have stayed a loyal patient with CCD since then. In my experience with Canyon Crest Dental, they set the bar high compared to other dental offices for number of reasons: * Employees. They have happy employees ready to help. Even when walking in, they are ready to make sure you are checked in for your appointment. They always look polished and professional. They always have a smile and I like that! * Communication. Communication is great. They pick up the phone in a timely manner and help answer your question quickly. And they are ready to follow-up with you. Even by email, they are quick to respond to your question. * Appointments. Scheduling appointments is easy. And they have multiple reminders (e.g., text, email, etc.) leading up to the appointment to ensure your appointment is confirmed. Before I leave, they make sure I already have my next appointment in their system. * Cleanliness. It smells clean upon entering and appears clean as well. The aesthetic already puts you in a good mood even if you're anxious about a procedure. This makes me feel great about coming here. * Comfortable. During each visit, they made me feel comfortable and informed me about what they were doing throughout the process so that I can sit and let them do the work. They make sure you have shades on so you don't get the bright lights or gunk on you. I've also been offered a blanket to feel comfortable and was offered bottled water during my wait. * Professional. The staff wear earpieces to communicate with one another discreetly. It makes for a seamless process as you transition from the lobby to the exam room or to the payment office, etc. The staff is courteous and they ensure you are well taken care of. * Up-to-date. They stay updated with technology so I know they are using the latest and best devices. Even when Dr. Leoni left, they were quick to update their website, in-lobby television ads, and exterior window signage. Overall (and despite the money I've paid), I am a completely satisfied patient and I know I have found a great dental team. I started with Dr. Randal Leoni, who was patient and took excellent care of me and my teeth. I now have Dr. Andy Lou who helps to make sure I have the same great care. I really enjoyed the techs (especially Eva) who have helped with my dental work as well. Highly recommend if you're within the vicinity looking for a superior dental team (from front desk, to billing, to actual dental work, etc.) and a top tier company.

Once again, the whole process was completely pain free and I was out of there in less than an hour (the procedure itself was at most 15 minutes). Also, I cant understand why there are a few negative reviews about their receptionists. Rita has always been super sweet & I can't remember the other ladies name but they have always been super polite and helpful with scheduling, rescheduling, checking in & helping me get a referral to an oral surgeon. Mind you I had already waited 30-35 mins and had things to do afterwards. When I asked how long it would take, instead of apologizing or giving a clear timeframe, the doctor responded with, "Why, are you in a rush?" That response alone was enough to show the lack of respect for patients' time. I was told they were "running late with patients". To make it worse, I was asked to go downstairs because that's where my hygienist was and when I went to the front deck the doctor asked if I could "at least get my X-rays done," in a tone as if I owed them something after sitting there waiting. That felt dismissive and inappropriate. After more waiting, I was told to wait longer because the hygienist was not ready for me due to cleaning. I decided I was going to leave and told the receptionist. Suddenly, she said, "She's ready for you." The problem was the hygienist was nowhere to be found. When that became obvious, the story changed to "She's still cleaning." Being busy is understandable. Being rude and dismissive isn't. Overall this place has gone downhill over the years, they are ALWAYS super inconsiderate of their patients time. Patients deserve professionalism, communication, and basic respect and you will not find it here!!!
