My fiance and I brought my mom and grandma to this restaurant for Mother's Day and after an amazing experience, I knew exactly where to choose for his birthday! This is definitely a special occasion restaurant and there is a menu filled with unique flavors! I would recommend going for their prix fixe deal, which is currently $55 for an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Keep in mind there are specific days and timeframes, which are listed on the website menu. We started with the Oysters Rubio and Zucchini Flowers, had the Chive Fettuccine and Scallops for our mains and finished the meal with the Vanilla Creme Brulee and the Passion Fruit Cheesecake. Everything was delicious but the Oysters Rubio was such an amazing combination of flavors and I would come just for the Passion Fruit Cheesecake! It has real passion fruit on top and is an absolute treat. For drinks, we had the Margarita and the Fresh Watermelon Martini during dinner and had espresso and a cappuccino with dessert. I feel like the cappuccino was really the star, the best one I've had. Honestly, this restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside but is definitely worth exploring. First, and last time here. We were offered 1 dinner roll each. The meals didn't come with a soup, salad...or anything. My husband ordered the Rib Eye steak, $40. He said it may have been about 12 oz. He said it was good, and the mashed potatoes tasted home made and were good. I ordered the scallops, $36. 4 - just 4 scallops. It came with a fork full of squash noodles and maybe 3 spinach leaves. I wish I thought to take pictures. The food was not overwhelming, the portion size was ridiculous for the price. The server was nice and service was good. read more

This was my first time at this restaurant after seeing a show in Patchogue with friends who have eaten here a few times. Everything they said about this place was not only accurate but way beyond what we expected. The food was amazing and so was the service. Our server Issac was so awesome and his food recommendations were perfect. He did say that anything we would on the menu would be delicious and he was right about that. We all ordered something different and every dish was perfect. We ordered from the price fixed menu which had a lot of delicious choices. My scallops were cooked to perfection and I loved the fact that it came with spaghetti zucchini. It added to the lightness of the dish and was a great complement to the sauce it was cooked in. The seared tuna was also excellent and my friend asked for it to be cooked the way the chef recommenced it, which turned out to be perfect. This chef really knows how to make delicious gourmet food. The place may be a little pricey but you get what you pay for and it was all worth it! The bartenders are also exceptional and our drinks were perfect! I love the attention to detail in everything they do, from the presentation of the food to the beautiful cocktails. The staff is always present to ensure you have everything you need while making sure you are relaxed and comfortable. I am so happy to have found this place and will be sure to be back. When I pulled up and saw that the restaurant was in a shopping center, I was worried that I picked the wrong place. Outdoor seating looked well appointed and clean. Opened the door and was pleasantly surprised! Staff was welcoming, well-dressed and very professional. The ambiance was quiet yet humming with first dates, couples dinners and friends night out. The $38.00 fixed price special, offered until 5:45 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and available without restrictions on other days, is a fabulous deal. It allows you to order any appetizer, entree and dessert. We took advantage of it because Chachama Grill is a pretty pricey restaurant by Suffolk standards. The restaurant is set back deep in The Swan Nursery Shopping Center on the north side of Montauk Highway in East Patchogue. Happily, there is lots of parking available in the shopping center. Gotta love Suffolk which, Thank God, is the anti-Queens! Upon arrival, I entered a relatively small and very attractive space. One big positive is that the dining room has good acoustics, which made conversations possible, despite the large dinner crowd. I bellied up to the bar to enjoy a great Absolut Martini. It was refreshing and appropriately stiff. I began my meal with the Oysters Rubio.......think of Rockefeller plus deep fryer. The Oysters were fresh and beautifully seasoned. I would certainly order this app again. Other great apps to consider are the Smoked Salmon and the Hudson Valley Foie Gras. I ordered the Rib Eye Steak medium rare for my entree but there was a minor hiccup. The waiter brought a Filet Mignon. However, the waiter addressed this problem professionally.In fact, the service here was exceptional the entire evening.In addition, the kitchen was very efficient in getting our dishes out. After a relatively short wait, I received an amazingly flavorful and perfectly cooked medium rare steak. Absolutely delicious. I look forward to ordering it again.My fellow diners commented favorably upon the Filet Mignon, Dry Sea Scallops and the Shrimp Entree. Desserts were excellent too. Choose among the Vanilla Creme Brulee, Warm Chocolate Cake, Poached Pears, Napoleon and Rice Pudding. You cannot go wrong because the desserts are uniformly excellent. We went on Wednesday night at 7:30, very quiet with maybe only 10 people at any given time. Greeted by host with a warm smile, we always appreciate when the busboy comes & greets you. Waitress was very knowledgeable as well as very professional. Food was so tasty & creative with combination of ingredients. The dining room is very small, but the ambiance is perfect. Not sure how it would be on a Saturday night, but this night was perfect for my wife & I. My wife commented that she had her favorite appetizer ever at any restaurant which was the Burrata, crispy eggplant, pepper jam with balsamic reduction. my only very small critiques would be the presentation of the Halibut which was over big blob of celery root...very white dish.
