I've had better tacos at Miti Miti. It's definitely ideal if you want to grab a quick bite. Next time I will likely try the steak taco and/or burrito or quesidillas. Every few weekends, this empanada truck will pull up next to Fort Greene park on a Saturday during the market, and any time it does, it's a lifesaver for feeding the kiddos while they play at the playground. I've only had the empanadas, but they also sell a range of tacos and burritos. The empanadas we've had are fantastic, and the kids devour them. We'll get the sweet potato, cheese, or chicken ones with vegetables, and they are all really good. I've even started to get one for myself. The food truck takes cash and card, its located right outside of barclays center in front of the apple store. I was a bit unsure about the food truck but there was a small crowd gathered around and the empanads looked pretty good so I decided to give it a shot, so glad I didn't just walk past because WOW these were so good. The empanadas were delicious. They were fried just right, there was a satisifying crisp and a good amount of fillings for both. Both of them were so juicy and seasoned. I didn't have any expectations since this was a gamble, but both the chicken and the beef were so flavorful. I haven't had a good empanada in awhile and this was sooo good coming from a food truck. This is very close to my job so I've been here plenty of times. The tacos are pretty good and some empanadas are decent. Last time I went I tried the spinach and bean empanada. The spinach was ok and the bean was TERRIBLE. Like so dry and flavorless like they just rinsed some beans and threw them them inside an empanada. Very disappointing especially for their prices smh. Beef with spinach (3/5) - pretty underfilled imo and the spinach itself gave most of the flavor. 2. Potato (2/5) - pretty bland, felt like boiled potatoes but good with the salsa 3.
