    Choripan Empanada Carne Mechada Empanada

I got the Carne Mechada and the Choripan empanadas which I did enjoy! The texture of the fried ones are addicting! I would choose them over getting the baked empanadas. They get your order out fast and it's a solid quick stop if you need a bite on the go!

Maybe some of the best empanadas I've ever had. Each one was different in its own way but so delicious. I'd highly recommend coming with a friend and trying all 6 empanadas in the flight box. The sauces were also really good. This is more of a grab and go type spot but there's a little bit of seating and a restroom in the back if you're dining in. I would absolutely come back to try more of the menu!

Best golfeados I've had thus far in New York! Everything I tried here was delicious, affordable, and served with friendliness from the staff. Ambience is a clean low-key diner-counter seating style. It feels aged, homey, and somewhat indie - but it would be good to see this place gets a little touch-up (I wasn't too thrilled to see the Venezuelan cuatro looking banged up on the wall). No mandocas here, but they have piñitas to go with coffee (but sadly was out of it when I was here). Good Cuban coffee. Some Puerto Rican merchandise, Cuban sandwiches & coffee and Dominican drink(s) on the menu (Morir soñando but with passion fruit instead of orange?) - maybe as a tribute to the origin of Cachapas y Mas that, I believe, got its start in the Dominican barrio of Washington Heights. I also got a chance to try the tequeños which were good and well-sized (but I like the dough a bit"bubbly" if you know what I mean). Cachapas were also good although I'd like to see the cachapa a bit more thicker especially considering the amount of queso de mano cheese that gets put in - not sure if this is possible since cachapas seem to be premade and they only needed to be warm up on the griddle. But with the nata or Venezuelan sour cream that comes with it, it's still a tasty treat! Plantain-based empanadas are a bit new to me, but with the pabellon filling, it's quite tasty. Overall, I would definitely return and try out more things including the pan de jamón they have on the menu - and of course, to get more of those golfeados! This might become my regular hang-out if I get to live close by here!

Another social media hype... The empanadas were good but nothing so special that media made it seem like. Their service was good, but again there is no hype behind these empanadas. Worth trying if in the area yes, worth going outta the way for like I did, debatable

Manhattan location. Delicious and fresh. The cutest les restaurant. Quick eats meets fun hang out. We played domino's. Gluten-free free options. The pastry its self on the Empenadas were outstanding. Each filling tasted homeade. I got the Empenada flight, which gives you a taste of everything. The pavilion was my favorite. These sauces and dips were all flavorful and outstanding. We ate everything. The chopped cheese may be the best I ever ate. Bronx native. The Cuban sandwich was perfect. Great mustard. The pickles here are phenomenal. The guava cheese dessert empanadas was my favorite. Reminded me of something my mom.woukf bake for me as a treat. The guava jam ontop devine. The juices yummy. Loved pasdi9nfruiy but morir somado was awesome too.

We were wandering through the neighborhood trying to find a quick snack and came across Titi's. What a gem! Well priced items, lovely service with a smile and delicious empanadas! I had the caramelized onion / mushroom and the jerk shrimp. He had the chopped beef with cheese and the chopped chicken with cheese - so good he ordered another. Other restaurants on the street had $20 hamburgers. On a Monday afternoon, I'm not trying to do that. Thankfully, Titi's gave us a better option.

Maybe it's what I ordered because all the reviews seem great but I have to disagree with others. I ordered the arepa pernil Aguita e Sapo, and I was so disappointed. The arepas were way too oily and crispy I couldn't bite into it properly. It was like biting into a Chicharon. The pernil was shaved meat and more like a jerky so I was so saddened to see that type of meat used. I also didn't get the "Aguita" it's said to come with. The only amount of moistness I got was from the overly greased arepas and mustard on the L&T so I highly do not recommend that dish. I also tried the empanadas, the carne molida was very oily and not to my liking. The pollo and cheese were definitely the best part of my entire order. I don't think this is the place for me. Oddly I love the owners other restaurants (Chachapas y Mas) but as for this little shop they have, I'm not satisfied with what I received. I'm not opposed to giving it another try in the future but all the oils definitely made me queasy.

The empanadas here are tasty and a decent size for the price. I appreciate that they actually have a spicy sauce that is spicy. Here is my ranking of what I tried: 1. Beef 2. Cheese + potato 3. Oxtail 4. Jackfruit

A cachapa is a sandwich of epic ambitions - while an arepa might feasibly be handheld, one should have no illusions about attempting the same here. I went for the white cheese variety, which I believe is filled with queso Guayanes - one of my favorite fresh cheese varieties. While Titi's focuses primarily on Venezuelan food offerings, they also serve an excellent variety of Cuban coffees. And Havemeyer Street had previously been a bit of a coffee desert after the closure of Northerly a year ago.

And they taste delicious. I felt like the servings were huge!!! Immediately walking in, I was greeted and sat down. My order was taken quickly too. It was a busy day but my food still came out within 10 minutes. And good thing too because I was starving. I got the pollo arepa and pollo empanada. Looovveee how soft the pollo empanada is... it's so dang fluffy. That was my first time having an empanada with that kind of dough. I have to say that I prefer it. Wish Filipinos used that dough when we make our empanadas. lol. The pollo arepa was everything!!! I had never had an arepa until the day I had one here. The meat was seasoned so nicely in their tomato based sauce. And the actual arepa... soft yet had a bit of a crunch. It was the perfect textures for me. I also enjoyed their soursop juice. It paired perfectly with my meal. My friend got the pernil arepa and was impressed by the taste and the green sauce. I didn't get much information out of him other than it was hitting the spot lol. Definitely a solid place to go in the area. It's kind of medium sized in there but there is plenty of seating if you're with a party no bigger than 3 or 4 people. I think most people come in here for a grab and go situation. But it's cool to hang around to watch the kitchen at work and hear the music.

I just had a horrible experience there. I ordered a chicken arepa for take out. They seemed really…read morebusy so I stepped away for 20min and when I came back the guy at the register had forgotten my order and made it on the spot. When I had gotten home, I realized he had given me the wrong order. I had to walk back to the restaurant. When I explained the mistake, the employee at the register (wearing black square glasses) became defensive and repeatedly insisted that the error was my fault. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he spoke to me in a demeaning and confrontational manner. I have an auto immune disease where I am limited to what I can eat. He didn't want to redo my order because "it was my fault" and I told him what he gave me I cannot eat, so he finally agreed. I was done arguing with him so I stood their silently. The whole entire time as they were re-making the order he repeatedly tells me that this was my mistake and not his. I get that the misunderstanding may have been partly my fault because I wasn't specific in which chicken option I wanted, and I acknowledged that to him. However, that does not justify speaking to a customer in a belittling or disrespectful manner. Mistakes happen, but the way this situation was handled was completely unprofessional. Because of this experience, I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this restaurant to others in the Bushwick community.
