    Spicy Chicken (Tinga) Quesadilla

TLDR: Get the spicy sauce! Though it may get lost among the seemingly numerous taco trucks along Bedford, Taco Morelos stands out for their decent prices and large portions for a quality meal. Their chicken tinga quesadillas were perfectly cheesy and flavorful. I highly recommend getting the spicy salsa if you like a little heat with your dishes.

    Chorizo and steak taco

Not bad, not great. Just adequate but not memorable. The steak wasn't seasoned, the chorizo was very salty. The tortillas tasted like corn and white flour mix, so if you want that more traditional corn tortilla, this is not it. Will work in a pinch on lunch break but not exciting unfortunately.

Right off the L. But it's not an L, it's a W! Taco Tuesday. What a classic day. Nothing better than lovely weather anddd tacos. Grabbed 2 tacos. One carne Asada and the other carnitas. Because tragically I am allergic to avocado I had to ask for no guac but you can still see how beautiful these are. The meat has that nice grilled taste and is juicy. Really solid choice when you want that taco fix.

I have steak taco and it is delicious. I wasn't looking for a place to dine in because I only have 30 minutes before my appointment. Food comes fast and staff is friendly.

Good tacos by the L train. The prices are okay. Nothing thatll break the bank. They're 3.50 each, and they also have a large variety of other things you can order as well. This is a taco truck.. i got two carnitas tacos with everything which included pico, guacamole and i didn't want any spicy sauce. See pics below

After a wild night out in Brooklyn, my friends and I decide to have a quick bite before we went to bed. So we decide to come to this food truck and we made our line and waited for our turn, I was the second one to order, I choose to eat the torta of steak, without beans, my other friend order the taco and my other one order a steak quesadilla. My order came around 15 minutes later a good timing, one of my friends order came 25 minute after his place his order, and my last friend did not got his food. A lot of people came order and got their order first than my last friend; even my other friends that arrive long time after we did, they ate first. After almost 50 minutes of waiting for the order my friend decide to ask, where his food was, the guy in the truck say oh; I am sorry we don't have steak anymore. That they run out of steak can happen anywhere, but what uncomfortable my friend, is that they waited more than 45 minutes to tell him that they did not have steak anymore. He got his money back and when to another place to place an order. Even though my torta was good, the customer service giving to my others friends made me give then only 2 stars.

Good stuff! Freshly made tasty tacos! Especially when you are seriously buzzed after a Yelp Elite event. After the most recent event at the nearby Le Comptoir restaurant my new fellow Yelp friends led me to this hopping little taco and burrito truck. Tacos only $2.50 each. Burritos $7.50. Tortas $5.00. Tasty as all hell, and cheap enough! Plus, you can get pretty much any filling - chicken, beef, pork, vegetable, sausage, goat. Yes, I said goat! Good sauces to load onto your food too. Worth a try if in the area and want a quick bite on the run. Thanks to Ron, Wing, and the gang for escorting me around town that night and turning me on to this rolling delight.

This truck is cash only!! There's banks up and down Bedford ave fortunately. Food wise delicious!! Serious eh no so wonderful. Unfortunately they seem to do so well that they can careless about all around customer service. Let's just say they have a preference when it comes to customers. I've been going on and off for years and the food has been great, however for the first time I was told I had to pay $1 for an additional hot sauce.....

I love this truck lol like seriously love them. So anytime I'm craving tacos besides going to yummy taco in Canarsie I head to Williamsburg. The Morelos truck is always there and right next to Dunkin' Donuts!!! The food is always fresh and made as you order. My usuals are the pork and fish tacos however I've had chicken, and steak taco too. There fairly priced and filling!!! Even the nachos, you won't need anything else because they add steak and boy is it good! It can get spicy so you can tell them no hot sauce just in case you don't want it too spicy! But other than that they add guacamole suave give you radishes and like on the side YUMMY !!!! You have to come and check them out because it's sooooo worth it. I totally forgot to mention that they do take card so no worries about cash I believe there's a minimum but I always get at least 4 tacos (don't judge me and it come to a total of $16)

So my friend and I were standing in line for the Hall of Magic at The William Vale and given that the line was super long my friend walked to get some tacos for us to eat in line. Honestly I'm not sure about the wait time for these since she was the one that grabbed them while I held our space in line. I ate the spicy pork tacos and they tasted pretty good to me, although the taste might have been better than it is given that we were super hungry and standing in the cold. They weren't mind blowing but they weren't bad either. Given the convenience and price I'd say it was worth it at the time. I would try them again under different circumstances to see whether I truly had an accurate experience, if I do so I will try to update my review.

This used to be my go-to taco truck. Recently I've been getting an upset stomach after eating. No matter If it's chicken, al pastor, or steak, my stomach is never happy. The quality also went down since they first opened; inedible pieces of fat in the chorizo, al pastor, or steak tacos.

We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the small, intimate space of Che was. Despite the small size, the restaurant has table, bar and outside seating, so you can't go wrong. We chose to sit inside and were warmly greeted by the server who made recommendations and allowed us to try the weekly wines. If you're a vinophile with a funky palette, this is a must. I had a skin contact wine while my partner had the jungle bird cocktail which was INCREDIBLE. We then shared the sardine dish, which was served on fresh, crunchy sourdough covered in smooth, melt in your mouth ricotta, and the tuna crudo, which left us feeling full yet refreshed. The olive oil in this dish was the unexpected star, adding a rich yet not overpowering element to the fresh vegetables and tuna. I absolutely need to come back for their day menu and to see the staff again as our server was so nice and attentive! A great place for a casual, elevated bite and fun drinks.

Honestly, I wish I had gotten the salmon to take home instead of the Haitian fried chicken. Now, that wasn't that great to me, and I didn't enjoy it :( I'm still giving them all the stars and all the props because I really appreciated the service. This was my first time trying a Haitian patty with spinach, and it was absolutely fantastic. I think it's even better than the chickpea one. I would definitely highly recommend this place and also go back. But the Haitian fried chicken need to be better. Still, I'll definitely come again and try the salmon next time!!!

I ordered the vegan platter whose black beans were smooth and piping hot, alongside the crispy fried tostones and meaty vegan meatballs. In fact the meatballs were so meat-like that neither my sister nor my husband could belief that they were made of jackfruit. The white rice was also extremely fluffy and moist and judging by the diligent rice-washing that was taking place behind the counter as we ate, I could tell that the staff really works hard to make it not just an afterthought, but a quality addition to the meal. My sister also really enjoyed her shrimp plate while my husband devoured his half-chicken platter. The sauces on our platters were also extremely flavorful, complementing the proteins in a beautiful way. All of us left Lakou Cafe feeling happy and satisfied with the portion sizes and level of quality. 10/10 I will definitely be heading back to this place the next time I'm in Brooklyn!

When I tried it, the overall taste was nutty and mushroom-forward. Does it taste like beef? Not really. It's more like a lightly seasoned, spongy mushroom patty with hints of the creamy cashew "cheese" and dressing. The burger is a bit messy and tends to fall apart, so you'll want to eat it over something or wrap it in plastic or parchment. Alternatively, you can order it as a wrap, including a gluten-free option for just $1 more. Honestly, I think the wrap might be the better choice over the burger bun. I also tried the chili, which had a distinct split pea flavor with plenty of beans and a nutty undertone. The potato salad was creamy, made with diced potatoes that were lightly seasoned. It wasn't particularly memorable, but it was fine. Overall, for $13, the meal was decent. I don't approach vegan food expecting it to mimic fast food; I look for quality and originality, and this place offers something that's passable. The vibe is very indie and hipster, with a sense that they put care and spirit into their food. I've walked past this place before--I even visited once with my sister to try the cornbread and chili, which were okay--so I figured I'd stop in again. The location has charm, but the food didn't leave a lasting impression. It's good for what it is, and I appreciate the effort, but nothing really stood out. I've read other reviews saying the quality was better pre-COVID, though I can't speak to that since I never ate here before the pandemic. If that's true, it makes sense. Would I come back? Maybe, but probably not on a budget. For what it is, though, it's worth trying if you're curious.

The griot was delicious. Just crunchy enough on the outside and tender on the inside. The black rice was a little disappointing, but nothing major. I love black rice, but it lacked flavor. Luckily they give you a side of gravy, which was tasty. I should've taken the girl at the counter up on her offer to get an extra side of gravy. I still devoured everything though. Instead of pineapple, it features the bold, tangy flavor of sorrel. Blended with coconut cream and rum, it's rich, refreshing, and full of island flavor. Def a fave and it tastes as good as it looks! Sexy lady - The Sexy Lady is a light but strong fruity cocktail that mixes the fresh taste similar to a lychee martini with the sweet, floral flavor of elderflower and juicy tropical fruits. It's smooth, fun, and a little flirty. We enjoyed this so much that we found ourselves guessing the ingredients! Sweet chili wings and Oreo waffle- The waffle batter was rich and delicious, with that classic cookies-and-cream taste shining through. I just wish it had been a bit crispier and more golden brown--that's my personal preference. Still, the flavor was on point. The wings were the real star perfectly cooked with a sweet, tangy, and spicy glaze that hit all the right notes. Altogether, it was a fun and tasty twist on sweet and savory. Chicken and Birthday Cake Waffle- The waffle had a sweet, cake-like taste with colorful sprinkles mixed in, and the batter was really tasty. I do wish it had been a bit crispier and more browned to give it that perfect texture, but the flavor made up for it. The fried chicken on top was juicy and well-seasoned, adding a savory balance to the sweet waffle. Overall, it was a creative and satisfying take on a classic sweet-and-savory combo. Appetizer Jerk wings- Hands down the favorite of the meal. They were packed with bold flavor--spicy, savory, and just the right amount of heat. The seasoning was spot on and the wings were cooked to the perfect texture. Every bite was juicy, flavorful, and left you wanting more. A true standout. We also can't forget the special sauce on the side--creamy and slightly sweet, it paired nicely with the wings and helped balance the heat. That said, the wings were so flavorful on their own, they didn't even need it. Entrees The Calypso Shrimp- Was beautifully presented as a standout dish. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, juicy, and coated in a sweet and spicy secret sauce that had just the right kick paired with creamy garlic mashed potatoes. It wasn't a fave but the presentation made up for it! Oxtail Low Mein - Beautifully plated in an abstract bowl. The Oxtail Lo Mein was a flavorful fusion dish that delivered more heat than I expected--but in a good way. The noodles were coated in a rich, savory brown sauce, and the oxtail was incredibly tender, falling off the bone. Each bite was packed with bold flavors, especially the deep notes of ginger and soy. The spice gave it an extra kick, making it a comforting yet exciting twist on classic lo mein.

It wasn't super busy, but I believe the staff on hand are always attentive, pleasant and welcoming. The food is Trini-Guyanese inspired and delicious. My daughter and ex ordered the oxtail dinner, which they very much enjoyed. I had a little taste and very much enjoyed the flavors. The portion was good and filling. I ordered the Jab Jab pasta with shrimp and was very happy that it wasn't dry. The spice in the cream sauce was slight but good. I was very hungry, so I sadly did not have a to-go plate. To demonstrate the high level of attentiveness from the staff, we never announced that we were celebrating a birthday, but they came out with a slice of yummy cheesecake (and I don't like cheesecake) for my baby girl. I plan to visit when it's warmer, so I can enjoy the backyard space.
