ZERO STARS! I just had the most embarrassing experience at this place! I went in today after going in a few times in the past and receiving good service. But today was a complete nightmare. Firstly, I came in for a gel mani. There was no one in front of me so they had me pick my colors and sit down. As I sat an older woman came in and asked for a mani. They asked her to wait and she said okay. But instead of making her wait they made me sit down and started her instead. Tried to say she had an appt but I was standing at the door when she came in asking how long it was for a service! I heard the whole conversation and she NEVER mentioned an appt. Ok so no biggie, I can wait the 10 minutes (which I was YELLED at by Van, her response was "really you are in that big of a rush that you can't wait 10 minutes?"). I grabbed my purse and was about to walk out because that little lecture was somewhat embarrassing but I calmed down and sat. Finally when the lady started on me, I wasn't pleased with the color as she was applying it because it was clear and I didn't like it (was looking for a neutral to go under gold sparkles). She cured the gel because she said a second coat would darken it! But it didn't. So with an attitude she scraped it off my nails with a nail file. I told her to just do black because the last time I was in I had black done by Van. Well after this was applied and finished I was just so upset already and she did a terrible job there were spaces on my fingers by the sides that were left unpainted and that stands out with the gel! I finally just asked for it to be removed! So Van stormed over and ripped the gel off my nails and then tried to say that it was $10 for cleaning my cuticles. I said that I would pay but that it wasn't worth the money and that I wouldn't be coming back because THEY were yelling at me saying it was MY FAULT because I picked the colors... mind you I never complained of the colors after the black was applied, just the way it was applied with parts of my nail unpolished!!! So when I said I wouldn't come back VAN SCREAMED F*** YOU IN MY FACE! I was sitting in a chair and she was standing over me! I was so completely shocked and speechless! This has been the most embarrassing experience for me! What kind of customer service is this?! I thought she was going to lunge at me, she was acting like a rabid dog! Being cursed at and belittled because I wasn't happy with the crappy job!? SO unprofessional and so embarrassing! And there were about 5-6 other women in the salon! So after a few back and forth F*** you between Van and I, I walked out with nails looking worse than they did when I walked in. And I will NEVER walk into this place again. BE WARNED THEY ARE FAKE AND RUDE! Customer satisfaction is obviously not a priority at this place! read more

I went in to have my nails done, never before in the years that I have been getting my nails done had I ever had the gel peal back. I went in the first time to get them fixed, it seemed they were too busy to fix correctly, because the next day again the gel was pealing back and even worse this time. I called and talked with Van asking what can be done, she said she would fix but if it happens again I would have to go some place else. She said it had never happen in 6 years, well it happen to me. I said if the same thing happens again I want my money back, she refused to give me my money back. I ended up unsatisfied and now I have to go some place else and pay twice for a poor job done on my nails. My advice to all "beware buyer"...they obviously care more about the money then customer satisfaction! read more

I can't say enough about this place. So many pros ! I've been so so many nail salons. First off they speak great English which makes everything easier. Second lanetria did a pedi for me and gel mani. She did a AMAZING job !!!! I plan to come here and only here. If you plan on getting a gel mani see lanetria. She is careful and knows what she's doing ! I recently went there to get a pedicure and had my two year old with me. I sat her in the chair with me so she wouldn't destroy the place and the girl who did my feet did my daughters as well. She didn't do a full pedicure on her cause she did need one but she trimmed and fixed her nails and the put a cute little flower on her big toes. They are always amazing when I get my toes done. I had forgotten I wanted to do my eyebrows and asked them last min if i could get them done and they were more than happy to do them. I really like their work and will be visiting soon! read more

I absolutely love this place!! I have been coming here since they opened and it is my go to place for pedicures, manicures and eyebrow waxes!!! Van is the best and I love how she remembers me every time I come in. Great staff, very clean and the staff is wonderful! I never went to a salon until 3 years ago so I researched all the salons in the area. Van had such stellar reviews that I went to see her. The reviews were right on. Van is the BEST! I moved an hour away two years ago and I still only go to see her. I'm moving out of the country and I wish I could take her with me. I love Century Nails! read more

My wife went to this dive for nails also $30.00 and the next day they were peeling and falling off. We went back in to complain and she yelled at us and got in our face. We asked for a manager and she refused to give a name and threatened to call the police. If you have had an experience like this also contact the better business bureau. These businesses need to be shut down!!! read more

Paid $40 for a mani and pedi and the girl totally rushed through. Both services done in under 30 minutes. To top it off, they don't take credit cards so I got charged $1 extra by them and $3 by my bank to use the ATM in their shop. What a racket!! Do not go here if you are looking to relax and get a nice mani pedi. She rushed so much my polish is all streaky and nails rigid! I shouldn't have even paid them! read more

Best in town!!!!! Been coming to Van and Lan for 13 years now. Super clean and super friendly. They don't rush your service and have very reasonable prices. I have been a customer of Van and Lan for over 10 years!!!! I go every two weeks to get my mani and pedi both Van and Lan are very friendly, respectful and honest. For all of you who wrote bad reviews about Century Nails you do not know what the heck you are writing about. Specially the lady that says she was bleeding!!!! HELLO in that little chicken brain of yours "if you were bleeding you should of told who ever was doing your nails, "stop I'm bleeding", but its obvious that your nails were not bleeding and they did not get infected, or else you would have taken your medical bill to Van and showed her your infected nails. You are just laying about it just because you didn't get your way!!!! and for the other lady that took her 7 month old child (who does that) you're lying too!!! I was there and you got the service and did not want to pay!!! you're one of those people that's never satisfy and refuses to pay for services!! A word of advice for the HATERS!!!!! You are the liars and next time don't bring a baby to a place where women go to relax and not hear a baby cry!!!!!! read more

i got a gel mani and she completed the mani in 5 minutes, they were not filed evenly and i had to ask her to file them evenly she said it was because my nails were weak however, she still did and i just looked like really?!? and the gel ended up peeling the same day. rushed service and crappy job. read more

Ven might be good at waxing but she is terrible at doing nails!! They use cheap acrylic. Mine was chipping at the cuticle a few DAYS after my fill. She left huge lumpy ridges by my cuticles so when I ran my fingers through my hair it would get stuck between my own nail and the acrylic nail. The set didn't even last two weeks without lifting and breaking. There were white bubble in the acrylic. My pedicure was awful too. She didn't get all the cuticle removed and she didn't bother shaping my toe nails. Oh and when she glued a tip on really crooked she got mad when I asked her to fix it. She constantly was getting up to go work on someone else or check someone out and eat I'm not sure what all she was doing but I was there for two hours for a full set and a pedicure. I won't waste my CASH there again. They don't take plastic so you will have to bring cash or pay the service fee for the ATM they conveniently have placed in the shop. read more

I went in and had my nails done with my 7 month old daughter I specifically told the employee not to rush when she began. What did she do? Rush! She was very rude and kept muttering under her breathe to the employee next to her. She began to paint my nails and I told her to stop as it was sloppy and rushed. I began to tell her I wasn't paying for the service and was unsatisfied to begin with. I told her I wanted to take the nail polish off and I was going to leave. The employee next to her said we will redo them I told her no as I wasn't satisfied with the service to begin with. I payed her what I thought she deserved and began to leave the manager got in front of me in the doorway and refused to let me leave unless I paid for the full service (which was never completed) I told her i wasn't going to and she proceeded to push me and put her hands on me while i had my child in my arms and refused to let me leave the salon. I then called the police and a complaint was reported. This salon is by far the WORST salon ever I would stay far far away and never ever go in! You don't put your hands on a customer nor a customer with a child! Save your time and money and go somewhere else! read more
