Not bad! Talk about full circle. I didn't realize this was the same place I stayed at the last time I came for a bull game because it was under a different name! My train got in around 9:30ish and even though it said check-in wasn't until 3, I took my chances and was able to get in anyway! Like almost everything nowadays, they had a self-check in which was pretty simple. FYI, although it's NOT listed under AirBnB, you will be charged $100 for incidentals, but it will be returned upon checkout. When I first walked in, I couldn't help but notice how cold my room was, esp the bathroom. Thankfully, there was a heat warmer for both, and it didn't take long for each to warm up. Overall, the amenities weren't bad; a little outdated but the bed was comfy. Things I enjoyed: close proximity to Union Station and the United Center, the fitness center, complimentary water bottles Things that could be improved: I smelled cigarette smoke on my floor numerous occasions, I was triple charged the incidental fee (but they worked quickly to have them removed) While it was a brief stay, everyone was courteous and I had a great visit overall. Our room no fridge, no microwave and they have to call an engineer just to reprogram our tv. Pretty nice hotel for the price, so incredible value - a promo on Hotels.com had a $90/night room and it was very good. On the smaller side but very comfortable. Complimentary chilled purified water in the halls, vending machine on the 3rd floor, a business center, and I believe a fitness center. There is an Elephant & Castle on the ground floor and lobby which is also open late. In the Monroe neighborhood of downtown Chicago so pretty convenient as well and an Uber ride away from most of the major destinations. Highly recommended! read more

I'm going to go with 4 on this hotel but it's not without its concerns. I'll explain. Most others concerns are valid but I'm not one of the hotel-goers that needs everything to be perfect when I stay somewhere. Some people aren't happy how often you wax the floors... I'm typically in room to just sleep, shower, and nothing else. Keep it clean, AC'd, bug-free, and I'm good. If you're doing Chicago the right way to where you're out for most of the time, this place will work for a few days. If you plan time to rest in your room or on the hotel property and you're staying longer than 2-3 days, I'd consider another spot. Business/Solo Travelers - We chose to stay in the classic room. This particular room is setup to be a place for business travelers I believe. It's small. It worked for us but if you're staying in Chicago for more than 2-3 days, this place might not satisfy you. There's a tv, a bed, a chair, a workspace/desk, microwave, fridge, closet, and bathroom. This particular hotel is in the loop but it's more on the south side. Easy walking distance to just about everything you'd want. For the rest, you can take the train. It does seem to be located more towards offices because the immediate surroundings usually have business-types or tourists passing through on their way to wherever. After 9-9:30ish the crowds tend to die off in the area. We chose it for three reasons... price, proximity to Soldier Field, and proximity to all the other things we were doing. The bed was comfortable and soft. I loved the pillows specifically. Everything else worked. The bathroom... was clean for the most part. The floor(especially in the shower) looked like it could use some cleaning care. Ample hot water in the shower so we were all good. The oddities with this place is with some of the amenities. Nothing is really made clear without searching for it yourself. -- The website says 24/7 bottled water. You do have access to water but not in your room... there is a purified water machine and they restock empty water bottles for you to fill from that machine. I actually prefer it this way but we had to find the machine(one on each floor). -- You receive emails to check-in online in advance and turn your phone into a keycard. I still had to stop by the front to pick up my key and appropriately check-in. Not a huge deal but when features are there, I like for them to work. -- There is a connected restaurant and they offer room service/delivery to your room but that's also not very clear. We just happened upon the menu/service in the TV menu. -- There is also a lobby near/behind the front desk. Didn't find that until day 2 of our stay. Seemed cozy. -- Some other people reference a basement level with snacks but we didn't venture down that way so who knows if it's a thing or people's hallucinations. The patrons we encountered seemed like a mix of folks. From people like us, to people in town for an event, to business travelers only there to work. After check-in, we were left alone by employees/front desk... also a plus. We didn't have anything to complain about so no reason to stop by the front desk or call... so not sure how the help/customer service would've been. I'd probably stay here again but when thinking about future trips, it's not the first place that jumps out at me. read more

Apple watch stolen from this hotel. The watch was left in the room at check out. Realized it within moments of boarding train and tracked it. It was still in the hotel for hours and then tracked it through chicago. Staff and myself are the only ones with access to the room. Manager not helpful and suggests that it was left elsewhere though I went nowhere else. Do not recommend. Police report filed. read more

Location was good, but service and amenities were very upsetting. Water pressure often gave up during showers or even washing hands, slowing to a trickle or even fully stopping up for 45 seconds+. We were also threatened and given a warning about smoking when cracking the window open to listen to the thunderstorm. the first morning here I woke up with a noticeably sore throat, I have an auto immune disease so i thought it was the weather change because I'm from Long Island, but the next morning I still feel sick and even worse then yesterday. after realizing I wasn't exactly outside much, feeling something was off i needed tolook further into why I was feeling so sick so suddenly, having an auto immune disease I knew to check the air vents in the hotel room.... I was shocked. this looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a VERY long time. that is when i knew why i became so ill so suddenly. possible mold in the air vents can affect people like me severely. I called my doctor immediately and explained the situation and was told to report it immediately. Such a disappointment that I have to now fly back home sicker then ever'!!!! not a good place for anyone with a weakened i system. shouldn't these places clean the vents???? read more

It's nice enough, but the rooms are tiny (think boutique hotel sized). Everything is clean, the bathroom was decent and the shower was nice. For two people, it was pretty cramped. The bed was super hard which normally I enjoy but it was on the smallish side. The AC word pretty well but the rooms heated up very quickly. It had plenty of outlets, which was nice. And they provided chilled filtered water on each floor by the elevators which was a total win. The location was fabulous. What was weird is that when I checked out, they wouldn't give me a receipt since I booked through an online booking site. I've honestly never had a hotel deny me a receipt, especially when they knew I was there for a conference and needed a receipt for reimbursement. The British pub attached to the hotel, The Elephant and Castle was a nice treat (I'll review that later) but you couldn't do room charges for some reason. read more

So.... I wish I could give this place a better review but.... Room not totally clean. There was food in the bedside drawer from a previous guest. I had asked for my room to be cleaned on certain days and although the receptionist made more of this on my record, housekeeping just ignored it as when I returned, my room was not cleaned nor were these chips gone from the drawer! I had told them then specifically about this issue and asked for my room to be cleaned that next day. It sort of was.... But the chips were still there. Short-staffed perhaps? It's pretty central to most things. However, the hotel itself can use some renovations--the way they designed the hallways between the rooms were really cramped and the bathroom required some attention. They only gave us two pillows, and when we called to get an extra pair, they took a long time to delivery them. The service is a hit or miss--the guy who checked us in wasn't very warm at all but the folks working in the daytime were nothing short of wonderful! Value: I hadn't been to Chicago in a very long time, and I realize that Chicago -- especially the Loop, near the attractions I came to see -- is expensive, compared to where I live (and that other hotels cost more than this one). I've rated the value lower than "10" because of my experience with the TV/Remote, attached restaurant, and bathroom design (details below). 2. TV/remote: Although I didn't come to Chicago to watch TV, nevertheless when something is part of what I'm paying for, I expect it to work, and not to cause me to waste many minutes in frustration. I also sometimes wanted to see the TV just for things such as the temperature and forecast, or news. (Remember, I'm not one of the billions -- like most of you who are reading this -- who carry a phone everywhere they go, and have their eyes glued to it every waking minute of every day.) I had an ongoing struggle just to turn the TV or or off, or use the Return button, or Page Up or Page Down, or enter a channel number. Made no difference where I aimed it, or how gently or firmly I pressed the buttons. Management had a maintenance fellow come to my room twice, to test my TV remote, and he was very nice. On the second visit, he replaced the remote entirely. However, desk staff told me that the problems I was having were usually indications of a common problem with a chip on their TV's, not a faulty remote. After the gentleman's second visit to my room, the problems remained. I've now asked the hotel for an adjustment to my bill. (I didn't ask for it at checkout or discuss this problem any further with staff at that time, due to time constraints, a long line at the desk, and my frustration with another, different problem): 3. Checkout: This isn't directly related to checkout, but occurred at checkout time. I'm 67, but I know how to use technology, use a laptop extensively at home, used a computer extensively at my job, and yes, I own a cell phone (but use it sparingly, for voice calls only. NO INTERNET. That's my choice; I prefer not to be a slave to a big damn phone, or any phone, as so many other robots have chosen to do). Unfortunately, I didn't realize that an "app" is now needed to do just about everything, and that it's become impossible to simply place a phone call to request a cab (except at places like Union Station, where there are taxi stands). The night before my checkout, I told desk staff that I'd walk to Union Station the next day, unless the weather was bad . . . in which case, could desk staff summon a cab for me. "No problem", they said; they walked me over to the the "Curb" device at the kiosk, told me about a $2.50 fee to use it, said that cabs usually come very quickly, and that the driver would just call me when they arrived. Great . . . except that isn't exactly how it actually works. There's a disclosure that a LINK would be sent to me, with details about my ride.) I can't use a link, since I've chosen not to use an internet-capable phone. I could have received/read a TEXT message, or answered a voice call, telling me the driver was there (as I said, staff said I'd be "CALLED" when the ride arrived), but had no way to follow a link. Long line at the front desk, so I disgustedly decided to walk the 5 blocks to Union Station with my two bags. 4. The attached restaurant (Elephant & Castle): When I had breakfast there, I had a clear view of the young man who stood only a few feet away the entire time, acting as host, handing menus to guests, etc. Purely by chance, because I happened to be looking in his direction at the time, I saw him do something that parents teach their young children not to do (and have always taught them not to do, even before Covid): sneezed onto his hand. During the rest of my meal, I couldn't help noticing that, because he either had a cold, or allergies, he was blowing and wiping his nose often, and kept the same napkin or tissue in his hand for repeated use, wadded up in his left hand. Although he walked back to the bar area once or twice, he never washed his hands or used a hand cleanser . . . and yet, his job included shaking people's hands, handing out menus, etc. (He also handed me the sugar receptacle, after I hadn't noticed where it was on my table.) Need I say more? 5. Bathroom: 111 West Adams is an older building, and the hotel rooms were probably retrofitted -- and so, if the rooms weren't originally HOTEL rooms, that might explain why there's no vent fan or heat lamp in the bathrooms. Be that as it may, value is further diminished when exiting the shower into a cold room with the mirror fogged up. read more

Had a less than average stay here. The biggest pro was the location. It was in the center of the loop and was very close to Millenium Park and other sights. The front staff was also nice and there are refillable water stations on each floor I believe! However, for how much we were paying per night.. we definitely did not get our money's worth. Our first red flag was that our queen bed was two twin beds pushed together. There is no housecleaning due to COVID which I guess is understandable but this in turn creates people leaving their dirty sheets, towels, etc. in the hallway, which is gross. The room is small, which is whatever but the walls are THIN. Had a hard time going to sleep when you can hear the people in the next room always entering and leaving their room (and sometimes it sounds like they're about to enter your room LOL). I could always hear people in the hallway. Also FYI, there are no mini fridges which is a bummer. We had high expectations but will most likely opt out on staying here again when we return to Chicago since it's not worth the price. read more

I got assigned the Central Loop Hotel on an Expedia/Hotwire booking. Central Loop shares the same facilities with the Club Quarters - the lobby, rooms and staff are the same, I'm not sure there's any difference between the 2 names. Truthfully, I'm worried about the future of travel. Central Loop has canceled housekeeping in the name of COVID-19. The pandemic has passed, the hotel isn't taking any other COVID-19 precautions and all staff and guests are vaccinated... putting A and B together I'll wager a year's salary that canceling housekeeping has more to do with cost cutting than any sort of pandemic response. What's more, each floor has "guest request" closets that presumably contain self-serve housekeeping goods that save you the trouble of ringing the front desk. When I stayed, all of these request closets were locked and out of service. The reason? COVID. Gimme a break. The rooms are small and spartan. CLH was the first hotel I've stayed in that doesn't offer in-room hair dryers and irons. My room also wasn't cleaned - there was hair caked on the bathroom floor. My main gripe is that this property is listed on Hotwire and Expedia as a 4 star hotel, when it barely passes for 2. The location is excellent; you're blocks from the art institute and L stations, but I will be taking my business elsewhere next time I'm in Chicago. read more

Nice hotel but it was the staff that made it super classy for me! All staff were helpful and courteous but the worker who was vacuuming on our floor actually stopped while we walked by to be polite. Wow. Room was on the small side but very clean and updated and we weren't in town to stay in our room all day so I thought it was perfect. Serve yourself bottled water so you could refill your own with clean cool water if you wanted or fill fresh. How green! Bar and restaurant were open late with great menu. Priced like the rest of downtown but that's what i expected. Would stay again! read more

Stayed here for a few days in Sept for a business trip. Hotel was average, clean but room was musty. The worst part of the stay was that I was double charged almost $700 and the management has yet to refund even after 4 phone calls. I'm assured each time the situation will be handled but no phone calls back and no refund. This is not the way to treat customers. read more

Nicely located in heart of the loop. Close to shopping, restaurants & Millennium Park. Friendly concierge staff. Hotel offers daily wine & snacks in the downstairs lobby for happy hour from 5-6pm. They also have computers for flight check in and to print tickets. Rooms are nice but on the small side. You can also hear all the foot traffic from the hallway, would bring ear plugs for next stay. This hotel was super affordable at $94/nt and was centrally located for my one night stay. The employees were so friendly and check in was smooth. The rooms were the perfect size for me with a huge tv. The bathroom and it's amenities are where Central Loop loses points for me. It wasn't the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen and the towels were hard. The hotel did have this cool water bottling station on every floor which I appreciated. Nice affordable stay. read more

I stayed at Central Loop hotel for one evening and I was not disappointed. I was able to reserve the evening before. I travel frequently. Had just flew in from New York. These days, I look for uncomplicated transactions. I look for ease, a clean room, friendly staff, and a hotel within a stone's throw of public transportation. Central Loop delivered on all of these items. I don't have time for rude or ignorant folks. I read some of the reviews before reserving my room. I will admit, I was a bit nervous. But, the price fit my budget and the hotel fit my criteria... so I hit the reserve button. My room was nicely situated on the 7th floor and large enough for me to move around. The staff at Central loop was very friendly and accommodating. Not one person on the staff treated me as suspicious or with disdain. The gentlemen taking care of the valet were also helpful with tips of getting around the area. The room was spacious and quiet. I also loved the added touch of providing water bottles and filtered water. I was able to get water anytime of the day/night without bothering anyone. The price was also great. And, as usual, if you're not into public transportation - uber is just a click away. read more

I'm sitting on the bed in my room here as I write this. :D Central Loop's Positive Points: -Check in is 3pm -Check out is Noon which seems ever so slightly later than other places so that's a plus! -Location, location, location! Chicago is all about location and the location here is great. -Purified bottled water on each floor! Super cool idea. -Easy check-in at computers throughout the lobby, love it! -Coffee maker with coffee and tea in the room. -Closet full of any extras you may need like iron & ironing board, extra pillows and blankets, shower caps, more coffee & tea. -People hail a taxi for you when the weather is crap. -Elephant & Castle is right downstairs with a private entrance & exit straight into the hotel. They serve breakfast, lunch & dinner plus have some good drinks until midnight! -FREE INTERNET! Yep, a big plus. -Bed was comfy & clean which is important to me. -Bathrooms look like they were remodeled with a clean, slick feel to them (see picture) -Great for business travelers with a great little work station area. -Self Parking for $20 (every 24 hours) at 318 S Federal St Garage Some people talk about the small size of the room, but it's normal for a $120 room in the loop. An annoying thing is the tv is not near the bed, it's way in the corner of the room, small in size and doesn't come out from the wall at all for adjustments in angle. They need to use a magic eraser on the walls. There are a lot of scuffs & marks that could be easily removed and give the whole room a better feel. Also, this hotel is sometimes called Central Loop Hotel & sometimes Club Quarters...it confused just about every cab driver we had! For a hotel right smack dab in the center of the city at a good price, this is a good bet! read more

The Good Parts: It's located in the heart of Downtown Chicago. If Downtown isn't really your thing, it's right down the street from the train station so it's convenient to get to other parts of Chicago - but there's plenty to do in the Loop, so just enjoy it! I heart the city!!! At check-in, the service was fantastic. The guy was so friendly informative and helpful with all the questions we had. The Bad Parts My room - was directly across the way from an office building. We made eye contact, which was a weird feeling and whatever construction was happening down below, it was difficult to feel rested when all I could hear were people shouting. Hair - I know walls don't grow hair, so when I saw a massive hairball stuck to the shower wall, I 1) stood there in pure disgust. Ummm gross, if I splattered water on the wall, did that mean that chunk of hair would touch my feet? I was so grossed out and only imagined how "well" the housekeeping staff had cleaned the shower floor. 2) day two, hair was still in place. Pictures to prove. Which meant, the housekeeper did not clean my room. - see next part. Dust - as I came in, I was sneezing like crazy. I thought perhaps I was catching a cold or maybe it was just allergies. Uuhh, yeah, allergic to the dusty room. It was so unreal, I lifted a book (because I'm sure people don't sit around reading a dictionary while in their hotel room) and noticed the difference between the dusty desk and where the book was placed. That hotel wasn't cleaned ever, perhaps since 2005. Pictures to prove. Housekeeper - instead of going through my personal belongings maybe focus on actually cleaning the room. I had a stack of documents and on the very top I had a phone number to a very important contact written on a napkin. To me it was a networking gem, to her it was a piece of trash that she thought would make me not realize my room was complete filth because she "threw my trash out". The pillows - are BAD, and by BAD I mean you will have a stiff neck, feel exhausted from lack of comfort and get headaches from the pain of the huge pillows. Might as well sleep sitting down or no pillows at all. I have no idea what they are made out of, maybe concrete with 2 cotton balls? Front desk - horrible. Or maybe a nightmare is more precise. I asked them for smaller pillows when I briefly came in to the hotel to grab something for my dinner reservation. I asked if they can just drop off the pillows when I was away and she said, "No, that was against their hotel policy" The front desk woman also mentioned that she agreed that the pillows where bad, and said someone would be up in 10 minutes with new ones. Mind you, I stressed to her I was running short on time and she said it wasn't a problem. 10, 15, 20, 25+ minutes and nothing. AC/heating unit - not accurate at all. I was so cold with their cheap paper thin blanket so I turned up the heat waaaaay up high and it felt in the high 60's. Website - events around town. What a joke. It hasn't been updated in months. General Manager - another joke. Lack of professionalism. Never returned my call or e-mail. I left a message at front desk to have him call me to discuss the issues that had occurred during my stay. I never heard from him. Cost wise - not worth more than a stiff neck and headache. Final Verdict: If you don't mind sleeping in a filthy room with a rock pillow and a hairy shower with a front desk that doesn't care about any of your concerns or a manager that places the amenities and/or guest on the back burner, go ahead. I only encountered 1 charming employee that deserves recognition because he sure is an asset. I didn't get his name. I work in operations and this is a huge no-no. I will never stay here again (location and reputation be damned) since they didn't care about my concerns, i most likely would have not written this review if they just would have called and apologized. Hotel is on a busy street (downtown Chicago), but only had one guy at the vallet station. There was a car in front of me and we were waiting for the vallet to come out. Few people honked at us while we were waiting, so the guy in front of me just up and left. I took his spot so I wasn't blocking traffic anymore. Waited in my car about 10 min, put on my hazards, and just went to the front and asked where the vallet was. Front guy said that he's out getting a car. Waited a few more minutes and the vallet finally dropped off his car. He then went inside and didn't even bother helping me... Sigh, my car is right in front of you, but you just go inside and go on your phone?! I opened my trunk, grabbed my suitcase, and had to go tell him to take my car. $50 vallet is normal for Chicago, but geez this guy was bad. Checked in. Went to my room and there was hair in the toilet. I feel nice clean seeing that there... flushed the toilet, got ready for bed, and ready to get out of this hotel. Sorry, first impressions last, and I won't be coming back to this hotel. Hopefully management reads this and fixes these simple things to make it a better experience for their future guests. read more

This hotel was a great find! My mom was coming to visit me in Chicago a few months ago when I was still living in a dorm and the room was much too small to have any visitors in. I go to DePaul University, and as I was living on campus, I had a ridiculously large meal plan. The Central Loop Hotel was convenient to DePaul's Loop campus, so we could eat at the student center there to use up my meal plan. I imagine, then, that it would be a great hotel for anyone looking to visit DePaul whose school is located in the Loop. The hotel is also convenient to the blue line (which goes directly to O'Hare) and the red line. Plus the price was right! I stayed in the hotel with my mom because it was more convenient than meeting her each day. The room was not only clean and tidy, but also cute and unique. I don't know if all the rooms were like this, but our room had two levels - the space where the bed, wardrobe, and television all were was higher than the rest of the room. The room also included a spacious desk and even a kitchenette! The kitchenette had granite counter tops, a microwave, a mini-fridge, and cabinets with dishes and utensils. I believe there may also have been a coffee maker in the room, but I don't drink coffee so I don't remember. Also, a room key is necessary to even get the elevator to move, which gave me a good sense of safety. In order to get to the floor that your room is on, you need to have a key that corresponds to that floor. This definitely would give peace of mind to any person worried about being in the city. When you get off at your floor, there is a place where you can grab a plastic water bottle and fill it with cold water. We only experienced one problem with the room, and that was that the toilet wouldn't flush one night! It wasn't clogged, it just wasn't flushing at all. We called the front desk, and though there were some initial communication errors for some reason, it was fixed relatively quickly. They also offered us the option to switch to another room rather than waiting for it to get fixed, but we didn't mind waiting. There was no real view to speak of in the room, but that shouldn't really be expected when you're in a city. After all, you shouldn't be sitting around in your room anyway! read more

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! I booked this hotel for $99/night way back in April for my August Lollapalooza trip. I had a tiny room with a double bed, but for the price/location, I really couldn't complain -- I just needed a place to sleep. Check-in was self-serve at an airline style kiosk, which was pretty rad especially when it spit out my coded keys. When I got to my floor, I discovered they had filtered water and empty bottles. Even better, the caps sealed, so Lollapalooza let me bring in my "factory sealed waters." Score! Staff was hands-off, but I loved that. I needed nothing during my stay. As I said, the room was small, but not Europe-small, so I could actually walk around all 3 sides of my bed, lol. Free wi-fi wouldn't work in my room for some reason, but wired did. I'll definitely be staying here if I end up at Lollapalooza again. read more

The only thing about this hotel that I can nag about is, we made a reservation at one (Central Loop), but our room was in the other (Club Quarters). So, which do I review?? Either way, we were really happy with this choice. It is centrally located, within walking distance of lots and lots of good Chicago venues, a 6 minute walk from the train, and a two minute walk to the CTA. Our room was fine although the A/C was pretty wonky, bathroom is cruise-ship small, but still fine, the mattress was great, there is an exercise mat in the closet (but, does it get cleaned after every guest's visit?) and, yes, the walls are kind of thin (WHY do people talk so loud when they return to their rooms late at night anyway?!), but we heard hardly any street noise other than police and ambulance sirens. We love the hotel's amenities: chessboards,fireplace, couches, bar stools and upholstered chairs in the lobby. The same in downstairs "living room" as well as free snacks (nuts, seeds, M&Ms, wasabi peas), apples, and coffees and teas, and sodas (I think that these are only available on the week ends), plus granola bars in the mornings AND a free wine and cheese get together at 5 Monday through Fridays. Very nice touch. The fitness center is adequate, including a Peleton, for those who are subscribers. The front desk(s) staff (remember, this is two hotels in one. Kind of. I think.) is very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable.You can print your boarding passes for free, as well as use the myriad computers in the LR, plus there are two small conference areas/quiet rooms there, and a large screen TV. I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and really liked it. This time, July 7, 2021, I was very disappointed. I checked in and went up to my room to find dirty towels and an unmade bed. I called the front desk and said that the room was not serviced and asked when that would happen. I was told that housekeeping would not enter the rooms. I should have pointed out that I had just checked in, but I was exhausted and just asked for towels. I spread the towels out on the bed and pillows so that I would have a clean surface for sleeping. When they say "small" in the description of the room size they should say "shoe box". Stayed here for 2 nights this week and couldn't get out soon enough. I've never seen such a small bathroom too. Even cruise ship cabins have larger bathrooms. The icing on the cake for me was having to go to a closet in the public hallway to find an iron and ironing board. Really, how hard would it be to put one in each room. Won't ever come back here. read more

I was totally surprised to find a nice hotel for under a $100 inside the loop. Free Wi-Fi, Free bottles of water... that was totally not expected. No one seems to give you that kinda stuff anymore. I noticed another review said it was a "small TV" the LCD in my room was about 32" Not the biggest thing out there, but on par for most hotel rooms I've stayed in. The fact that I had more than 20 channels was quite amazing as well. (A channel guide would have been nice). Conveniently located, decent bed, nice pillows... I would totally stay here again. Oh, they also had two computers where you could print (FOR FREE) on the 3rd floor... and I believe a work out room of some type that I didn't even bother to look for. The staff was also nice when I had questions such as where to go eat or where things were. So why isn't it a 5? I'm just that hard to please... read more

This place is disgusting. Should have known there was a problem when we walked in. First guests we ran into informed us they had bed bugs in their room, which was proven by her multiple bed bug bite marks. As we get to our room, the hallways were disgusting. There were garbage and stains everywhere. When we got to our room, we decided to check the bed. There were multiple hairs including what appeared to be pubic hair on the bed sheets. There was also what looked like a urine stain on the mattress. We cancelled the reservation and checked out immediately. DO NOT STAY HERE! read more

Very disappointing - downhill over the past several months. They say 'breakfast is included ... fruit, yogurt, etc.' - NOT ON WEEKENDS. They say 'daily healthy and salty snacks ' - OOPS, they cut that out, too. They say 'wine at 5pm' - NOT. The construction 'til 12:30am didn't exactly put me in a 'cheery mood'. The small room is truly tiny -- ideal for one person, fine for two people who really, really like each other. The bathroom is not just tiny but bad. There's virtually no space for your essentials and the otherwise-spacious shower stall has a shower curtain that's about two inches two short to prevent water from spraying onto the bathroom floor. Would have been ok if they didn't skimp on towels -- we had to keep asking for more than just the two body towels and one washcloth and hand towel provided for just the two of us. We crushed a cockroach in the hallway right next to a vaccuum cleaner in recent use by the cleaning service, and the sad little carcass was still in that spot three days later. Our room did seem clean, but the bug thing makes us wonder about the hotel's attention to detail in this area. read more

One of the best hotel stays I've experienced. Very nicely appointed rooms in a central location (took the metro stariaght from the airport to hotel), on site restaurant & gym, , free bottled water with refill station, & free wine/refreshments M-F at the lounge during happy hour. My room was rather large and had a kitchenette. Christy at the front desk was amazing!!! She made my 5-day stay unbelievable between giving me directions and local recommendations, to changing my room when I had noise issues, to acoomodating a late check out. Christy's can do attitude and going the extra mile for customers was everything I look for in hospitality. I asked for assistance from another front desk clerk, and she was not at all helpful but then I asked Christy and she helped me immediately. I would stay here again without hesitation. read more
