Everything was up to par. The lady at the front. The gentleman at the elevators. The location. The restaurant there and of course the rooftop was fire

Modern, trendy boutique hotel that is in a great location for exploring the city on foot or going to the Chicago theater for a show. Great customer service, and there is a rooftop bar that serves good drinks. Would stay here again for the location and clean rooms.

I truly enjoyed my stay here(room 2504). It was my birthday week, and Prince truly made it special. I want to emphasize that Prince is an asset to the property! His warm demeanor made me overlook the cons I faced. I was also able to meet the manager Lidiya, who also left a great impression. I can not say the same about the night auditors.. they def need a hospitality refresher because they were dead and rude. No personality besides the attitude and very dismissive. On the 14th a bald-headed black man and a heavy-set black woman who did not care to acknowledge my questions or conversation. Not only did I feel like I was talking to a brick wall but also that I was bothering their screen time. The other black lady who worked by herself on the 15th of Jan did not want to help me so much, she told the bellmen/valet guys to help me when I left my phone in my uber... I asked to use the front desk, and she told me, "to go over there"... I'm truly disgusted by the older women in Chicago but esp disgusted that Hilton hired these 3 people to represent their brand. Maybe it's my fault for thinking I was going to get southern hospitality. Anyway, If I was HR or the FOM, I would look into them. Restaurant is comfortable, clean, and spacious. They have a bfast, lunch, and dinner menu. Menu is decent. I loved that they had a different soup every day. Didn't try anything besides the lobster one and i loveeeed it. The ribs I bought... can't say the same for that. The slaw that came with is was also disgusting. I wouldn't call that slaw. Loveeed the peach on a platform. I seriously got that every day!!! Servers and the same host I seen every time I went to were sweethearts. I do wish I was able to dine at the rooftop but I wasn't there for the weekend. The small glimpse I did see was beautiful! Location is honestly perfect. Right next to walgreens, 7/11, Ross, Chic-fil-a, Giordan, a plaza that has many stores like nordstom, zara, Aritzia. AND LESS THAN A 4 min WALK FROM THE TRAIN STATION!!!! I'll def be back!

Located in the theater district in downtown Chicago, the Wit is a great place to stay for dining entertainment and exploring the Loop. From the O'Hara airport I took the blue line train to downtown getting off at Clark/Lake St station. From there The Wit was a quick 10 minute walk. My room offered sn amazing viewing of the skyscrapers and glimpse of the river. My room was quiet at night even with the "L" train rumbling below. The hotel has an amazing rooftop bar offering a great view to the South and West loop. Drink and food prices were average for a downtown establishment ranging from $10 for beers and $20 for cocktails. There is another restaurant and bar located on the ground floor level also offering elevated pub food in a dimly lit atmosphere. Drink prices were similar to the rooftop ranging from $10-20. In the morning coffee and tea is located in the lobby for hotel guests. Overall I had a brief but nice stay at The Wit, and look forward to staying again in the future. Enjoy!!!

Great space; fun modern decor, especially light fixtures. Would be a perfect location for Chicago touristing. Aside from the decorating, pretty much a competent but bland corporate hotel experience.

theWit Chicago is an exceptionally nice Hilton branded hotel located right in the middle of everything in Chicago. We were able to walk to nearly all of the downtown attractions. The staff was very quick and friendly to handle any issues not that there was many.. The inside decor is absolutely gorgeous as well as the decor in the rooms. For me a nice long, warm shower is always appreciated at the end of the day and not once did I run out of hot water and it even got a little hot at times. theWit also has one of the nicest rooftop bars you can go to. It is divided into two sections, one more of a true lounge area overlooking the city and the other a sit down style with the bar relatively close to you. The night we were there there was a DJ playing music at just the right noise level for the crowd that was in there loud enough to give that party vibe, but not so loud that people were having to yell and not enjoy themselves. They also had some extremely tasty drinks up there. The only downside as with most downtown hotels in Chicago is $82 a night to valet.

I was so disappointed in this hotel. This was out of our normal price range but I thought the location was wonderful and it is. The other disappointments were just too much. The expensive charge for the Val-let 86.00 I was told I'd be text them my room was ready. I was never text I just couldn't wait any long and came to the front desk to ask. One of the reasons I booked the hotel was for the roof top. We were told it was a private event ALL night. We were given many mixed directions. I felt they just didn't want US!!! Eventually after much complaining they let us up and again I don't think they wanted us. Many of the staff were not just unfriendly but almost rude. I did appreciate Erik from the Vallet. He was professional and welcoming. No coffee in the morning. It rang out and they were not going to refill it. The room was average. It was very overpriced for the service and amenities it did NOT provide. Don't stay here we noticed a lot more hotels that looked more accommodating

Better vibe during the day than evening, when the atmosphere is too club-like. Decent Old Fashioned.

Super cute hotel. Room was comfy. Staff was beyond accommodating during my brief stay. Location is perfect for walking around to nearby food and shopping. Would absolutely return for another stay.

For the team dinner, the staff decided on Roof on the Wit. At first glance, the restaurant looked nice and classy. The giant screens played animated scenes. The atmosphere felt like a high end club. For dinner some of us ordered sushi, pepperoni pizzas, salads and alcoholic beverages. I ordered an unsweetened ice tea. The sushi tasted delicious. My coworkers, managers and I went out to celebrate after a long day of training. We needed to relax. The only caveat came from the ventilation kept dripping water. So we moved to the center of the restaurant. At least the seating gave us more space allowed more circulation. Being the first time that I went there, I will probably go back to theWit.

This hotel was located within the loop near the river, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel rooms are basic and small. We were fortunate to get an upgraded room with two queen beds and an amazing view out the window of the city. The window was large and clean. The beds were comfy with ample pillows. Four pillows were provided. The hotel set up is a bit awkward. Room is best for one person as lacks storage for large luggage. Plus there is not a defined bathroom. The shower is within the bedroom. Fortunately the shower was frosted but you walk right into the bedroom so you must be comfortable with those you stay with. Plus the room does really have a deck and chair to work. The desk is a fold down from the wall. The chair for the deck is located on the wall and not really suitable for long term working on sitting as does not have a back to it. The best thing above this hotel are the staff. The front desk staff are super friendly and accommodating and aim to please. The bartender was super friendly and attentive as well. Lastly parking is not available right at the hotel. You have to walk two blocks. Plus parking cost 59 dollars and that's the discounted rate. Also not really a suitable place to drop luggage off. If you pull up to the front door, you are blocking traffic. Base on price of 400 dollars the night we stayed, I would say it's not worth the stay. Maybe it's worth 200 or less for Chicago.

I want to say that I have had my eye on this hotel for a while now after looking for Hilton hotel locations with a peloton bike, which this one has. Other than that, I loved that the location of this hotel sits in the heart of Chicago, surrounding a plethora of activities which made it the perfect choice for hotel stay to celebrate. Okay, it was an experience going up to the lobby area to check in at this hotel, a blonde moment as I am known for if you follow my reviews. The lobby is located on the 4th floor, so be sure to choose "L" for the lobby because there is no 4th floor button listed in the elevator. Me and two other hotel guests had an adventure going up to the lobby area after trying to figure out where the 4th floor button was. My experience with the receptionist working behind the desk was nothing less than professional. Since my room was already booked through Hilton Honors, the only thing check-in consisted of was a verification of my information, a briefing on what is offered, and the receptionist giving me my room key. For your information, check-in starts at 4:00 PM and check-out ends at 12:00 PM! If you have the Hilton honors application, there is the opportunity to check in with the application, choosing your room, and receiving a digital key, which will allow you to go to your room contactless without seeing a receptionist upon your arrival. I have not used this method, but if you are interested in no contact whatsoever then you can use it with the Hilton Honors application. After locating and entering my room, I thought to myself this is fancy once I took notice of the design and interior color which appeared so elegant! There was a variation of vibrant colors in the room from its curtains to the headboard of the king-size bed, the carpet, and a gold chair that looked like something out of your grandmother's house. Out of all, I just could not take my eyes off the curtains which reminded me of cherry blossoms because of the colors. Inside the bathroom there were liquid products by Gilchrist & Soames Zero% attached to the wall. Throughout my travels, I have noticed that hotels have completely dealt away with the mini shampoo, bath soap, and conditioner products that made great travel hygiene additions. Along with those notable things inside of the room, it met my cleanliness standards. I had no issues whatsoever getting comfortable in the king-sized bed during my stay as my head was engulfed in between the comfortable pillows. While utilizing the shower, I really enjoyed the water pressure; its soothing pressure made me feel very cleansed during each usage. It was wonderful toggling with the spray patterns, with the addictive feel of the pressure hitting my face and body. Other things the room came with that I noticed were a comforter, an iron, ironing board, blow dryer, safe, comforter, a coffee maker (Hamilton Beach), a mini refrigerator, microwave, and USB and AC plugins attached to either the headboard of the bed, lamps, or the television cabinet, which added a nice touch to the room. And the Wi-Fi internet was easy to connect to and not once did I have any connectivity issues with it during my stay. Hampton Inn Majestic, as expected, had an exceptionally beautiful inner interior! As a fitness enthusiast, it was great having a fitness center onsite because it allowed me to keep up with my fitness routines during my stay. I must say that I was pleased to see several dumbbell weights, medicine balls, kettlebells, a decent selection of workout machines, and two peloton fitness bikes which charmed me out of my panties once I spotted them. And oh, honey did I enjoy it on my birthday with the lovely Hannah Frankson as my peloton instructor, who put my legs through torture during her low impact workout. Having the complimentary breakfast was a relief because I did not have to worry about finding a restaurant for breakfast in the morning. And I was highly satisfied with the quality of what was presented. It is served daily from 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM. For you all visiting the city of Chicago, there are plentiful sights, activities, and restaurants within a radius of Hampton Inn Majestic. As a resident, a few that I adore are Willis Tower, Millennium Park, and the Art Institute of Chicago! Next door is the CIBC Theatre, which I noticed upon my initial arrival at the hotel. And if you are looking to explore the city or outer part of the city, the Chicago Union Station, and CTA Train Station are very accessible to-and-from. I would surely book Hampton Inn Majestic Chicago Theatre District again due to my experience with it because the hotel met my comfort needs, and I loved that its location is within an accessible distance of things of interest in downtown Chicago. ~ Live every moment ~ Thomas G

Although we grew up in the Chicago suburbs and know the city well, it was our first time staying at the Langham, and it left a strong impression. The most striking aspect was how spacious the room felt. We likely stayed in a Premier Room, which was quite large by city standards. The bed was massive, very comfortable, and just the right firmness. A detail that stands out is the space between the foot of the bed and the wall where the TV was mounted, which makes the room feel open and calm rather than cramped. The décor was elegant without feeling stuffy, highlighted by thoughtful touches like an espresso machine. The bathroom was another highlight: the frosted-glass window offered privacy while maintaining a sense of connection, and the rain shower had excellent water pressure and felt indulgent. The location is fantastic, convenient for work in the Loop, time in Grant Park, shopping on Michigan Avenue, or dining in River North or Fulton Market. During our trip, we ate nearby both nights, which made getting around easy and stress-free. The staff was warm and helpful throughout our stay, and breakfast at the hotel restaurant was memorable, even if the details are a bit hazy now. The lobby is beautiful, and several family members who stayed with us also commented on how much they enjoyed the hotel. At the time, pricing felt mid-range for a luxury hotel in Chicago, offering excellent value. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We would happily return and are eager to explore other Langham properties worldwide.

We were in town briefly for a wedding, and the JW Marriott was our hotel of choice. While not…read moreluxury, the hotel was very nice and comfortable, and the location was central to our wedding happenings. Everything was great until I checked out and discovered that I had been charged $88 per night for parking. That was quite unexpected. I had been in Chicago just a few months earlier and had paid $55 at the L7 Hotel. So I was shocked that the JW could charge so much. How is their valet parking better than the valet parking at the L7? I realize now that had I been traveling alone, and not with my family, it would have been cheaper to fly to Chicago, than drive the 4.5 hours from Ohio. Apparently the hospitality industry hasn't caught on to the current affordability crisis, or at least Marriott hasn't.

Check in is quick, rooms are fine (and clean), and the executive lounge is nice. I was warned about eating in the bar on the first floor, which I hadn't done in a few years, but it was getting late, and the weather stunk. I saw friends in the bar area, so I took root at the table nearby. Service was fine, and I enjoyed a few of the Amber bee on draft. The menu looked good, and I ended up with a steak fried rice bowl. The steak was gross. It didn't even look like steak that should be served. It was fatty and tasteless. I ate less than 1/2 the rice and 1/3 of the steak. I wasn't starving, so it wasn't a huge deal, but those who told me to avoid the bar area for food were right.

I've been to Miru many times and finally got to try out the hotel for a staycation…read more Pros: -I loved that they had two restaurant options in the hotel. Both have incredible views but I would definitely recommend having at least one meal on the Miru patio if you are there during nice weather. -I was most surprised by their massive gym and has stunning views. It's also open 24 hours. They offered Pilates classes as well for an extra fee. -the hotel is brand new and all the finishes are so high end. The rooms are clean and quiet. The hallways are huge and felt like a maze to navigate but it also added to feeling of privacy. -there were so many high end details that made it extra special (the cozy Frette bath robes, welcome drinks, treat box in the room upon arrival, and the accent lighting in the room). -the location. It's just across the river from the heart of Michigan ave on the north end of a residential development. You don't feel like you are in the middle of the chaos of the city but the park, lake front and river are footsteps away. Negatives: -view was underwhelming ( fourth floor river view . Might choose the park view next time. I'd also recommend not facing the river as there was lots of honking/noise. -the room layout was awkward. They have this huge desk between the bed and tv. The full length mirror is a down a long hallway from bathroom/ where you would be getting dressed. -the room service comes on these huge heavy trays. The staff seemed like they were straining under the weight of it/ it was awkward. -I'd probably skip the spa/massage -$90/ day parking. Was able to do a spothero for about $40 next door.

So, walking from the Blackbawks shop when it's 20° isn't an easy task. Also, I wasn't able to try the Tre Dita since I didn't book a reservation in advance. Hopefully, I can schedule a reservation in the future. Plus, since it was mid-December, the St Regis had their third annual 12 Days of Sabrage, which guests of honor perform the evening ritual of champagne sabrage, which celebrates the transition from day to night. They offered complimentary toast of champagne and a Vosges Haut-Chocolate truffle. The hotel encouraged everyone to bring a new or lightly used winter clothing for children in need.

I was personally greeted by India when I walked through the revolving door, which is always a great touch. They are super accommodating to my needs, can get me a couple bottles of water, and a late checkout due to my status with Bonvoy. The rooms are still in good condition, (in my opinion) some of the sofas are dated but the most important part when I stay here is the bed. It's not a mushy old mattress, they're great with support and comfort. The hotel is in a great part of River North, close enough to walk to the lake, or the Mag Mile. Even closer are top class restaurants and specialty stores, along with plenty of places for nightlife. Thanks for another great stay here! I'll be leaving for my flight home in a couple hours.
